The Biggest Loser
Im am sitting here watching the biggest loser and what an inspiration! I nearly cried when I saw how much some of them had lost, its amazing how you really can change your life just by getting healthy.
Im getting of my fat arse tomorrow and joining the gym, because as much as I can restrict my food intake I am LAZY and walking alone is not going to shift this. I feel quite inspired today and I really want to be a big loser and get this butt in to a bikini for the summer. |
u can do it marie, i have missed a lot of this series but saw the last one, the winner kevin was unrecognisable at the final!x
|
Thanks honey, iv had a rubbish couple of weeks on the diet and a couple of other things but im going to pick myself up and start again tomorrow.
And well done you I saw your earlier post's :) xx |
i hear ya about the biggest loser! That show is really inspirational and you know what else really inspires me too? That new MTV show I Used To Be Fat. That show really makes me want to get up and get it moving!!!
Good luck on your journey! You can do it! |
forgot all about this, have it recorded though. Will watch it later. Can't wait to see what everyone looks like now.
need some inspiration at the moment, having a bit of a bad week eating wise. not eating badly just feeling ugh about it. |
I thought most of them done fantastic but was dissapointed with rob i thought he go the whole hog like paddy and will did. There is a programmeon tonight called fat families that is good aswell. xxx
|
I agree, I was really surprised with Rob. The way he was acting like some big ladies man made me think that he got a bit of attention from the ladies, compliments from family and friends and decided that he'd gone far enough and given up. I thought he would do better.
|
I only get old American seasons or the Asian one over here, but watching the show is one of my main inspirations to actually be losing weight and sticking to it this time, mainly through the show shoeing the importance of fitness and exercise.
I have also read a lot of the negative stuff about the show, but, for giving me the kick up the *** I needed to do this, I'll always be thankful :) |
Just to add a quick note. I noticed that you're all talking about TV shows that have inspired you or help to keep you going on your journey.
I found one that is amazing here in the US. It's called Heavy. It's on Monday nights on A & E. I watch the episodes online. Very motivational!!! Check it out! |
The Biggest Loser was fab, the makeovers were brilliant, everyone looked gorgeous. I was delighted to see Will win what a lovely bloke. I too had expected Rob to have lost a little more being as he was so competitive when he was in the Biggest Loser House.
I shall miss it, but I watch the American one on a Tuesday. |
yea i like fat familes on a tuesday aswell on living :D x
|
Am I being really catty by saying I'm glad that the married lady didn't win - sorry forgot her name already. I thought it was unfair that they were a couple and kept in the same team all the way through. I think they had a big advantage over the others because of this, but I was glad that she'd lost weight she looked really good, just happier that Will won.
|
i though that paddy looked so good in the end
Im with you starbuck on the couple thats wasnt right! xx |
I love fat families too. the way that bloke is so cruel saying "massive fatties" and "lardy bums" makes me wanna shift my bum and get in shape!!
|
I really love watching the biggest loser, its so amazing to see the transformation over the weeks, but what i will say is that the difference between the contestants on the american one is so much more shocking! i dont know why that is, maybe they stay at the "ranch" longer?
|
I've found that too, especially when you watch one after the other the difference in the amount lost between the countries is amazing! Maybe it is because in the US version they have more contestants, and so they stay on the ranch for months, then have time at home - whereas the UK one is a lot shorter.
But I dont think it takes anything away from the contestants they still do an amazing job, and they're all a huge inspiration! :) I'm totally addicted to the US show, and managed to get a copy of the first 9 seasons sent over so, although they're not great quality, I'm constantly glued to it haha :) Don't think I'd have the guts to go on the show though. |
I really love that show. its such a huge inspiration <3
|
i loved the biggest loser, this is the first one i've seen from the beginning and was in bits at the final, sobbing away like i knew them all!!! I felt such empathy and sympathy and was so jealous at their losses!! They did so well i feel lost without it now and keep searching for old seasons or even the american one!! i think that one is longer than the UK one anyway which is why the losses are more amazing... i so want to go on that show and be trained by those guys:carrot:
