Default Vanilla COke

Sorry don't remember who it was that was asking about Vanilla COke?

Well in a USA message board mainly about makeup someone in FLorida said they had just seen it in the shops. Someone else said it was in bottles but hadn't seen it in cans. They also had seen cherry coke as well so I guess it will be some time before it hits these shores.

Yo!! 'twas me, 'twas me !
Thanks Peacock, I can't wait till it gets here...I don't think they do the cherrycoke sugar free and diabetic friendly, so I hope the vanilla flavoured one is not laden with sugar.

No it is in diet form and someone said it tastes like cream soda. Most seem to like it. They do diet cherry coke as well.

I used to like Amercian Cream soda when I was a kid, it was all bitter and sweet at the same time.

But hey I was the kid who got Cromola Foam as a treat - so what did I know

I love Vanilla Coke! I like it much better than Cherry Coke, and I loved that! Yes there is diet forms of both, and hopefully you will get it over there across the pond soon. I can't drink diet though, it makes my stomach hurt. I know how it is to like something you can only get in another country. I love the chocolate bars you have (or used to have , I don't know if you still do) where the inside of the chocolate bar was full of air holes, and it just melts in your mouth. I love that stuff! Ah! and your lager is so good, and I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I love your dry brew. I also love your steak sauce, and I love blood pudding. There is more but I've got to stop now I am getting hungry!

Dear Velvetcyberpunk -

Happy New Year! The chocolate bar you are referring to is called Aero and is still very much with us. They have the oroginal milk chocolate flavour as well as mint and orange too. I think they may have white chocolate as well.

Thank you Peacock. I love those chocolate bars! The mint ones sound absolutely delicious! Mmmm! Maybe when I have lost 10% of my weight I will see if I can't order one for a treat.

They are selling Vanilla Coke at our local Tesco, they didn't have any diet vanilla coke though so we didn't get any, I don't think we ever got diet cherry coke on this side of the pondeither. Maybe we will be lucky this time. I love the Diet Coke with lemon, and am addicted to the new Diet Fanta 'icy'Lemon. Very thirst quenching and of course negligible calories.

Haven't seen the new Fanta, hasn't reached me yet, will need to see if I can't hunt it down in Tescos.

Sounds good, am getting fed up with diet coke - not a bad thing and hate Irn Bru, which the boys love, that and tizer, which doesn't come in diet either

I am sure I have had diet cherry coke but it is as rare as hens' teeth. I used to like Tizer and I love cherryade. I used to love lucozade which I only got whenpoorly but now when I have tried it I do not like it. I know what it is - the bottle has changed and they have dispensed with that lovely yellowy paper which made a funny noise when you unwrapped it.

Kids nowadays are missing out, I tell you!

Thanks for that wonderful news, TQ, I hope Tescos transport a few bottles of it up the M11 to Suffolk...I cannot wait to try it. I have never seen the diet version of the "icy" lemon fanta either.
The manufacturers don't seem to think of making sugar free drinks which I find very frustrating, especially as I am a diabetic as well as trying to lose weight. It seems that they think we just like to drink diet coke....with ice and a slice!
