12 lbs? I'd say so... how many lbs has it taken you to drop sizes in the past? I think only you can really work that out as our bodies are all unique, but on average I'd say its probably enough.

So hard to say, l'm 5'7", and last time I was size 10, I was about 138-145#, and you're already there. Below that I was size 8.

Right now I'm 142.6 and have been able to fit some size 10s for about the last half stone - but not all. And I have big boobs so am in a size 12 top.

I have another half stone to go and I expect to be able to fit into any size 10 from anywhere once I get to that weight - and maybe even size 10 tops too. but that might have to wait till I have totally weaned my daughter and the F cups go down a bit.

I think UK sizes are different. From what I understand, a size 10 in the UK is a size 6 here in the US.

I'm 5' 5" and I was in a US size 6 (UK size 10 I believe) when I weighed 135-ish (This was years ago.) I wear a US size 10 right now at 155 lbs. For me a 10 lb loss equals a size most times.

Uh, well then, I only fit into an occasional US size 6 (UK 10) when I was about 128 (my lowest weight beyond early college), so I'd have to be less than that to really get that size.

I'm also 5 foot 6 but when I've been a 10, I've been 10 and a half, even nearly 11 stone! I used to be a size 6 (til I had kids - damn!) and even that tiny, I weighed a good 9 and a half stone. Must have really heavy internal organs or summat.... Oddly I had a friend at uni who was identical size to me - with a 22" waist and looking really skinny, we were both still a good nine and a half st.

I look best around size 12 - which is 11- 11 and a half st, actually at the heavier end of that.

I used to find 1 st = roughly 1 dress size. Not always! But last time I was a really fit and healthy size 12 (and still going down), according to my BMI I was still teetering on 'overweight' - at only 5 foot 6 - so I think it's all a load of nonsense, really.

Overall though the last time I dieted I lost 40lb and 5 dress sizes so some shape changes are not equal to others, re. weight reduction....

i was a size 18 when i started at 196lbs....
now at 136lbs (over 4 stone later) i am a loose size 12....
so maybe there is some truth to the stone a dress size theory....

Of course . It's just that you didn't also turn my brain to the "on" position. Or maybe you tried, but the switch was utterly stuck in the "off" position .

I don't know about UK size >.<" But:
at 126 and 5'6, you'll probably fit into size 4/6 US depends on your body type. Since i know you exercise regularly so i would say maximum size would be 8 US.
Altho it's hard to know for sure unless you go down to that weight. Everyone is different after all.
