Default Hello! Newbie :)

Hello,

I came across 3FC through another forum i post a lot on, and having had a snoop around i think it's fab! I'm a welshie in my early 20s, struggled with weight issues for years (i'm a comfort eater) and have decided to take the plunge and follow the Cambridge Diet.

I have done this diet before, i started in october, but for one reason or another found it very difficult to stick to. I'm incredibly impatient and have such an addictive personality that WW, SW and such don't work for me. I want results now! (Someone pass me the magic wand please !!)

Anyway, so I am starting my journey again tomorrow. I initially want to lose 4st, but could lose 5st ish as ii am a shorty!

I'm glad to be here, this seems like such a great little community!

BM xxx

Hello and welcome!

I'm new here too and sounds like I have the same problems as you - can never stick to anything! But I'm hoping that with the support of this site and other members I will suceed this time - there's no reason why not! I am also early 20s but I'm a geordie not a welshie!!

We can both do it this time!!

Hello! Yep - 3FC is an amazing board and I hope you'll feel really welcome here!

Obviously it's upto you - but this is just a suggetsion, if you found that specific diet difficult to stick to maybe you should find something a bit easier like calorie control? Weight loss is never easy but there's always something that will work right for different people.

Anyway, welcome to the boards! Nice to meet you

Hi Im also a newbie, hope you will find success here!

Have you tried breaking up the weightloss into smaller amounts too, which might help you feel like you are actually seeing results, like by August youd like to be say 1 stone lighter....that way it could be more managable and you would see the results a bit quicker?

Apologies if you have already tried this one, its just a thought!

Good luck anyway and heres to success with 3FC, it looks like a great site!

Pleased to meet you BM, hope to chat again sometime!

Good luck bluemonster, hope it goes well for you. I must admit I don;t even know what the cambridge diet is although it sounds a bit taxing. Coming on here is definitely a good idea for motivation. Look forward to hearing how you get on.
