Default Dieting at the weekend!!

How come I can be good and stick to my points all week, but it all goes out the window at the weekend?

A lot of it has to do with booze, all my friends tend to drink a lot and I get sucked in a bit. I already drink halfs to their pints and have the odd diet coke but still........

any tips anyone?

Sarahgrace, I know exactly what you mean! Weekends are hard! During the week I have my routine and I'm all set eating well and according to my plan. Then friday night hits, and it's like I'm brandnew at this not knowing what to do and eat! It's not booze for me, as I don't drink, but eating out!! I really don't want to NOT go out for meals anymore on the weekend, but I've found it difficult to find really healthy things in some restaurants.
Sorry I'm not actually helping here.. just understanding the issue, as I also try to find solutions for it at the moment.

I know exactly what you mean! Most of the time it's so easy during the week (though this week has been pretty bad), probably cause I'm busy with uni & writing assignments and things like that, but come weekend I find myself with not much or nothing to do... so out come the snacks!
I'm trying to stop that now, by filling up my weekend with activities - walking, going to the gym and going out and seeing friends (not for dinner cause then all I want to do is order pizza or something equally as fattening). So that's the only thing I can really advice - keep busy! Not much help I know, sorry!

I was the same when I was on W.W. sarahgrace but it never hindered my weightloss funnily enough sometimes they say that thats a good thing to do so that you're body does'nt think its in starvation mode it gets extra calories at the weekend and thinks 'eh up, i'm not being starved after all" is it affecting your weightloss? or are you still losing steadily? if you are then i'd just enjoy the weekends and be good all week

Sure I'm a very strange girl since I am the total opposite. Weekends are usually fine for me I find the weeks harder well work in fact since we always have so much crap there.

I find it harder on the weekends because that is when I am not alone in the house for two out of my three meals. So, there are other people putting more temptation in my way. Of course it is my fault if I give in but what I do find is that I tend to be much more free about writing down what I eat on the weekends which is usually where things go wrong.

Trust Miche to be the other way around. How Oirish is that???!!!

Seriously, At Slimming World, they suggested saving up your points for
the weekend. Mind you you only have a total of 15 a day. I guess you can do it with WW points as well, maybe?

you can earn up to 12 extra points per week through excercise, which I always do. However if I try and eat less points as well I usally end up chewing my arms off will just try and be "good". My mates already think I'm a shandy lightweight though!!

Do you always drink lager sarahgrace? that and beer is the worst (is it worst or worsed? ) thing you know I started drinking a lot of white wine spritzers when I was a "good girl" but it did'nt last and once I got back on the beer thats when the pounds crept back on its my downfall

Look like I got away with it this week!! 1.5 off. I do drink beer and have no intention of giving it up completely. If I did I'd get thrown out of CAMRA!!! . Its more a case of limiting it.
