Whats on the menu today?

  • I have found that the only way I have any success is to be organised and plan my meals a day in advance.

    Breakfast Usually cereal/porridge or fruit and yog

    lunch homemade beetroot soup and fresh fruit

    evening meal liver (I know but I need the iron!) mash, carrots and green beans

    If I eat anything between meals it is fruit.

    I am not following any kind of diet plan as such I am just eating less and moving more.

    I am trying not to eat any processed foods and so far it is working.

    Brekky:
    0% Fage yoghurt with dried apricots and pecans

    Snack
    Lil' Moo with apricots and pecans (all I have at work today...)

    Lunch
    Scrambled eggs & egg whites with marmite, cheese and chorizo, possibly a pitta too.

    Snack
    Cottage cheese with peanut butter and a nectarine (if it ripens up!) and dried apricots

    Dinner
    Something quick and easy which will probably include bread and cheese or eggs. Oh I have some hummous that needs eating up, so it will probably be hummous with maybe turkey or something...
  • hummous...i love hommous, especially all those different flavoured ones you can get in the supermarket now!
