  • howdy ya'll lol.
    hi my names nicola. im 19 years old and i have a son called joshua who's 22 months now.
    befor ei had him i weighed a healthy 9 stone 10 (im 5 "4) after the pregnancy i was 11 stone 4lbs. after a year or so of really bad PND i ballooned upto 15 stone!!!!
    i joined slim style on 13th febuary 2007 weighing in at 14 stone 13lbs
    im now 13 sone 9lbs as of last week.
    in 4 weeks id managed to lose 18lbs!!
    im carrying on with it till i reach my personal goal of 9 stone 11.
    my slim style goal is 11 stone. hopfully ill have reched it by summer.

    id never heard of it before untill my aunty asked me if i wanted to come with her.
    apparently she had been going on and off for over 4 years so its been aroud for quite a bit now.
  • sounds well established then if its been around that lenght of time. I'm not really interested in changing just now. I was just curious as to how it worked and what the "rules" were lol

    i'm full of curious thoughts today - thats what sleep deprivation does to you lol

    Best of luck on Slim Style...I've never heard of it either! Is it like any of the other diets? Calorie counting, food combining etc?

    yeah not many people have heard of it. ill ask margret tonight if its only around the area i live or all round everywhere.
    yeah baisically you go get weighed on your 1st day, she'll give you a booklet a card where you write your weight loss/gain and how many altogeher and she puts you either on plan one (1200 kals) plan 2 (1400 kals) or plan 3 (1600 kals) im on plan two but very rarely have even 1000 kals a day never mind 1400.
