Ah - it was just on the local radio - they found him - about time too, ever since the mist lifted they've had heliboppers zooming around the Moor and the village.

Clydegirl 03-22-2007 09:09 AM

So Sarah is she pg?

Can you do a pregnancy test on a dog?

Sarah Ann 03-22-2007 09:57 AM

No, I don't see how she can be. She hasn't got out, we haven't had any unwanted visitors breaking in, it can't be George or Fred and I've 'discouraged' unwanted advances when we've been out. She did have a brief flirtation with a very sexy Old English Sheepdog on the beach when we were on holiday but no actual naughties took place. Dogs get 'tied' together when they mate - I won't describe the process but its unmistakable - just glad to say it doesn't happen to humans! (When I was at Uni I used to earn extra money by hiring out the studding services of my Yorkies - they didn't mind ;) )

I don't know if you can do a pg test on a dog... just got a mental picture of me trying to get her to wee on one of those testing sticks. :lol3:

Goodmorning Ladies

Goodmorning ladies hope everyone has a great day.

Sarah, I just came home from school quick for lunch and I thought of something I've been meaning to ask you.

How is that dog that you found in your village? I think someone you knew took her in, she was all skin and bones, I want to call her Rosie (was that her name) anyway I don't know what got me thinking about her but I was just curious???

nicolae 03-22-2007 12:30 PM

dog??? what dogg lol.

Squidger 03-22-2007 12:53 PM

Stupid time of the month

*kicks*

RSG - You've got a good memory - I called her Rosie when DH brought her home. She's fine (she just had her first season as well) - her house in on my way to work so I see her quite a bit. Her name's Holly now and she's a round, very much loved, little dog - totally pampered. Her new family have had to put kiddie locks on all the kitchen cupboard doors and the fridge because she's a great one for stealing food - probably as a reaction to her early life.

Sadly her and Ellie don't get along at all - Ellie only likes boys.

It's good to hear she's doing well.

I've just been out for pizza with running club and I'm absolutely stuffed. But I did an 8 mile run between work and eating, so I feel like I deserved it. I had a vegetarian pizza with just about every vegetable you can think of on it (well, except mushrooms, I made them leave those off). Asparagus, pepper, onion, courgette, aubergine, potato, rocket, artichoke and I'm sure there were more I can't remember.

I think I might have rest days tomorrow and Saturday. I've got a half on Sunday so I won't run on Saturday, and I've been out late (for me) tonight so am skipping the gym tomorrow morning. If I wake up I might do some yoga or stuff I can do at home I suppose. Or possibly a short run. I'm addicted, aren't I? I'll see how I feel.

Oh, and I got an internet use warning at work so expect reduced daytime postings for a while... It's nothing to worry about as long as I don't get another one in the near future.

redsoxgirl 03-22-2007 08:00 PM

Ellie is a teenager, how cute, she only likes boys.

OK who wants to make a wager that Helen does not take 2 rest days in a row, maybe 1, but my guess is she'll be out doing something tomorrow!!!

Scale is annoying me this week, still not stufficiently recovered from my weekend, I just ran about 6, maybe tomorrow will be better.

I'm ready for the weekend!!!

YP1 03-23-2007 02:20 AM

Day 1 going restfully, I hit snooze instead of going to the gym. Not sure whether I'll crack later...

I skived kickboxing and went home and ate the house. I think I was mad at myself for being tired. I was home by myself too which doesn't help. Then I went to sleep at 8pm. DH came home and woke me up then when we wanted to go to sleep the neighbours were playing stupid music with a stupid base line on and off for 2 hours until 1am. We even rang the guy on the desk to get them to turn it off, but he came upstairs and said that they weren't playing any music. :censored: He must've come up while they were changing CDs or something. So when it started up again DH went round and apparently they're really "nice" What kind of "nice" people play annoying music at 1am???

So we are both :censored: today! I'm also feeling full and sick from my stupid binging activities last night. :barf: So I am drinking tea until I feel like breakfast :tantrum:  DH is so sweet - when I said what I'd been eating last night, he said, "Everybody eats food!" Bless him! He even coped with my upset tummy!

:kickbutt:

Sarah Ann - Yes but Sarah, since you are a married woman - please have one cleaned, pressed and posted to me in Hammersmith :)

peacock 2 03-23-2007 06:52 AM

Sarah 'pimped' her yorkies????!!!!!! :O

Sarah Ann 03-23-2007 07:00 AM

 Frus

Some people are just thoughtless not malicious (bit like my Chav neighbours) - maybe your DH meant that when he said your music playing neighbours are nice. Maybe you need to go and introduce yourselves (when they're not playing any music) and ask them what they were playing (in a nice way) and maybe mention that the walls in your flats are paper thin / area is very quiet at night - just so they know that their music 'travels' in to your flat at night.

As I mentioned on the weigh in thread, I'm thinking of finding a hypnotist - I am just NOT getting to grips with this diet since Christmas. Its like I'm two different women.... the daytime Sarah is calm, controlled and more than happy/satisfied with her food but the evening Sarah is a complete :ink: and :moo: - can't stop eating AND then gets all moody about it - even gets in to a bad mood with DH if he shows any concern. :sorry: I'm now sleeping fairly poorly - probably because of eating so late... the REALLY strange thing is that I'm not eating cheese! I took a mouthful of my old lust object, Gorgonzola, the other day and DIDN'T ENJOY IT AT ALL which I suppose is progress of a sort. :dizzy:

Funny RSG should ask about Rosie/Holly yesterday, I saw her this morning. She's a proper little pampered pooch now - she was wearing a pink leather bling decorated collar and lead - similar to this! I told her owner that people had been asking after her and she made me smile when she said 'We don't talk about that time in front of her in case she gets upset.' Talk about a change in cirumstances.
