Good morning all
I have had a really hard time the last few days but having Sherri around makes it hard to stay that way.She came to my meeting last night and it was so nice introducing her to everyone.We even got drowned by rain when we left We went out for supper together with our husbands and little Megan.Megan is a cute little girl and very well behaved.
Hopefully someday more of us will get together.Since people like to come to Fl so my chances are real good I will someday met more of you.

Getting ready to go on my canoe trip. Found out Friday, that if my doctor doesn't release me of my
restrictions,on the 12th of Sept. I won't be doing what I am doing at work anymore. That means possible shift change. Or different work place altogether. I applied for a new postion at work, don't know who get it yet. Hopefully it will be me. Since I've worked there the longest doing the same job. But we will see. I'm not expecting it.
Everytime I think I've gotten the job, I don't. So I'm not expecting anything. My boss actually asked me if I thought about just living with the pain. I told her I already do. Well I really don't want to stay on this subject cuz it, well you know.

Other than that I'm doing fine. Still need to get in the habit of exercising, again.

well, I went and weighed in last night. I lost 1/2 a pound. Not to bad since I didn't get my act together last week until Tuesday. I did really good for three days though.
This week I am going to try to keep it up and also exercise. I am meeting one of my friends tonight to walk. Haven't seen her for about 2 years so I am excited.
Maybe this week I will finally break that 172 mark been trying since last April. My body seems to like being stuck here. Only 1 1/2 pounds to do that. If I do everything right this week I think I could do that.
We have our Fall Rally coming up in September so I am excited about that. They are always good for a motivation uplift. I did try to lose the 10 pounds this summer and I lost about 5 so got 1/2 way there.
But I should get a perfect attendence award. Only missed one meeting and that was excused.
We take my son to school on Saturday, what an emotional day that is going to be. He will be a freshman in college and he'll be living there. He has never lived away from home before so it will be interesting.
And then the next week my daughter goes to school (preschool) for the first time so I don't know how I am going to handle all that. Luckily, I don't think that I am an emotional eater. I just love food so hopefully that will get me through the next 2 weeks.
Oh, well, thanks for listening and thanks for being there for me. I feel like this is a great motivator for me. Knowing that there are others out there struggling with every pound too!!!!

well i am trying not to overeat this week as everyone expects mt to be a kop monday nite.i have 1/2 lb to go but i ate too much last nite. i feel pressure and am anxious about it. just had to talk about it. tops hugs jinky
