Default saturday

Good morning all
I am going to meet a lady I met at SRD for lunch today.She lives about 65 miles away.We are meeting halfway.I met her by accident at SRD.My group had to split up because of seating.Started talking to her and we have been e-mailing etc every since.She is about my age.I think she is a little older.And we are both over 250.It will be nice to see her again.
Sherri from the message board should be getting into town sometime today.I will see her on Thursday if not sooner.I have to go to the hospital for some tests on Monday and I had to take the whole day off from work.So I might drive over and see her.It is about 45 minutes away but I drive 30 to 40 everyday going to work.So that is no big deal.Will have to make sure she is at condo.
I have been trying to find a keyboard class I can go to.It is no longer called typing.I saw a few entrance jobs that looked interesting but they required typing.I can type two finger only.One is a 3 credit college course but it requires Microsoft Word 2000.I have the 97 version.I sent instructor an e-mail asking about it.It last from Aug til Dec.Another place is an adult ed which has a 6weeks class coming up It is 2 nights a week and one is on my TOPS night.I can not give up TOPS completely for 6 weeks.I am the weight recorder and besides that I don't want to.I asked the lady if I could take it if I had to come late on Thursdays.She said just tell the instructor and there should be no problem.So I will probably take the 6weeks one.I will stay for half of the meeting and then leave.Class is only 5 minutes away from where we meet.
I have been doing much better but scale did not show it.I was up 1/2# but leg was swollen so that means it was not a true gain.I have been eating less and exercising everyday.
I have one of those step boxes I took to work and I am now using it everyday when I work.I was doing 3 sets and yesterday I did 4.It gets my heart rate up plus I figure it is good for circulation since I sit most of the day.
Am going to try better on my weekend eating.That seems to be a real problem area.Of course the ice cream I ate last night didn't help.
It is so good to see all the new people getting involved on the board.Good to see you back Donna.I know the rest of the "old timers" are lurking around.Sometimes there is not enough time in the day.Some of you will see the same thing here as what I e-mailed you.Thank goodness for copy and paste I try to talk to you one on one but sometimes can't so have to make it a joint thing.
Time for me to go swim laps.I have really been doing good on exercise.
Oh I went to daily apple site.Bookmarked it so I can go back.Looks like a good one Hope everyone has a good weekend

that is so cute. Cant wait til I learn to do those...
Anyway just thought I'd pass the>huggson

I am having a hard time getting under 350 which is what I weighed Tuesday...I've not been drinking my water and night time is a bad time for me,staying up late with the GOLDEN GIRLS and eating ....bad bad

Three more days to work on this pound. anyone got a HAMMER

Default hey

I have decided that pizza is my weak food. I can not eat one piece of pizza and I think that it is my fav food. Oh, well, I ate three pieces of pizza for supper tonight and so I have no choice but to exercise. I think that I am going to do my step exercises. Well, not to much to bs about tonight. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Default Good Afternoon to All

Hope everyone is having a great day. Been so busy making plans for a little mini vacation coming up and I tell you, that has taken lots of my time. I am amazed how the list of things to do grows and grows when you need to get things done.

Eleni - i think you will prefer to have the six week class, it will be better for what you what to learn for. I took one in college and they really push the homework and lots of typing and my hands ended up hurting beyond belief. I think the courses that are offered with just learning in mind work much better. Six weeks will go by much faster too. Plus it usually is cheaper than a college course. Hope you enjoy it, I am able to type over one hundred wpm and it makes a difference being able to fly on the keyboard. sounds like you are having a good week, i wish i could exercise as much as you, i have a hard time just working on getting a half hour in each day. i admire you for that.

Welcome to all the new people and hope everyone is doing good. the weekend seems to be the hardest part for me, pizza - yes, this is my weak point too. The fried foods are also one of my weak points, I just like the taste of the food that way. I have increased the baking way, but I tell you sometimes, the french fries just taste better fried, I can not help it.

I dont know if I will get a lose this week or not, I have not been the best. I have been having the problem of getting busy and not thinking about what is going in my mouth and it seems like before you know it the day is gone, and ooops, forgot to get that exercise in, oh pooh. that has happened to me two days in a row and I am getting frustrated with myself. So I am working harder on this. I know it will be hard traveling, but you can always find a place to walk - right?
