It's our Provincial Recognition Day in Canada. I live in Edmonton and this year it is in Red Deer - about an hour and a half drive. We are sooo lucky this year cuz there are a bunch of new hotels that JUST got built and the price per night is only $60 (Canadian)!!!!!! I'm sharing a room with my mommy - can't wait

Hey, my TOPS SRD (State Recognition Day) is this weekend, too (in Virginia). I'm extremely lucky because it's often in Richmond or the beach area, but this year, it's only 1.6 miles from my apartment! That means no added travel/hotel costs!
