My Own Personal Birthday Challenge
Oh, why the heck not? My birthday is next month - May 16 - and I would like to lose 15 pounds by then. That's 260 by May 16, or 3.75 pounds per week. Weather is nice so exercise should be good, I've been stagnant for a month or more, and I'm due for a jump-start.
If I lose the weight, I'm going to ... crap. I'm not good at this 'incentive' stuff. Ideas, anyone? Maybe a new bra. Yeah, a new bra that holds my boobs up where they're supposed to be ... you know, "lift and separate"?
Based on prior weight loss, I know that 15 pounds is feasible. So if I lose more than this, I'll go to my favorite flower shop and purchase a single stem for each pound ... a stargazer lily, a rose, an orchid. If I don't reach this goal, for every pound I am off, I will donate one bag of groceries to a food shelf.
Fair enough? I think so. Anybody care to join me?
