Hi there

Here is my menu for the day. I didn't do good because I had too many carbs and I ended going over in the sodium today. But I won't tomorrow. I will do better I have to in order to stay healthy.

Here is the bad news:

Breakfast:

Egg 65
Oatmeal 1/2 cup = 0
Milk 1 cup = 130

Lunch:

Spaghetti with meatsauce = 610
Tossed salad
Dressing 1 tablespoon = 135
Roll = 140
Butter 1 tsp = 24
Applesauce 1/2 cup = 20

Snack:

Pumpkin muffin = 60
Strawberries 1/2 cup fresh = 0

Dinner:

Pork chop 4 oz. = 470
Corn 15 1/2 oz. = 70
Ketchup salt free 1 tablespoon = 5

Snack:

2 SF Fudsicles = 30
2 Slices of diet wheat bread = 240
1 wheat engish muffin = 180
Butter 2 tablespoons = 220

Total for the day of sodium = 2399 I thought I was over by 140 but I wasn't. But I was still higher then any day this week. That isn't good but it is still a lot better then I was doing last week. I was getting double or more of what I should be having. I am not going to stress about it. I am just going to have less carbs tomorrow is all.

I did 30 min of stepping on my own and drank 64+ oz of water today

Okay here is my menu for the day.

I didn't do very well because I had a brownie sundea today. I know we weren't supposed to have any junk today but I have been putting it off long enough. I am finding that eating very low sodium doesn't satisfy me because it doesn't taste as good to me.

Breakfast:

Oatmeal 1/2 cup = 0
Milk 1/2 cup skim = 130
egg = 65

Snack:

Bannana = 1

Lunch:

Spaghetti with sauce very low sodium sauce = 300
Rolls 2 = 280
Butter 1 tablespoon = 110
Tossed salad = 0
Dressing 1 tablespoon = 135

This was a much better choice then the club sandwich or the bacon cheese burger and fries that I really wanted.

Dinner:

Homemade stew
Broth made from the steak 2 1/2 cups = 50

Brownie sundea ?

Total without the sundea for the day = 1071

So there is no way I went over for the day being this low I can't imagine. But I have that out of my sytem now.

I am home now for the rest of the week for all meals so it will be easier. I am going to eat a little more good sodium so that I don't sabatoge myself because I am not satisfied with the food I eat. So my numbers will be higher for the next couple of days but at least it will be a healthy choice. As long as I don't go over I am not going to worry too much about it. I think I will have a sandwich tomorrow. But I have to get some fresh bread. I will use the diet wheat because it is for 2 slices so the sodium will be lower for the bread versus the regular wheat. And I will probably have tuna fish with the lite mayo. I have as single serve can of tuna so that is easier to count instead of trying to measure it out.

Have a great day.

I also had 64+ oz of water no exercise

Hey there,

I didn't do good today either because I ended up having a 3 musketeers bar. Starting tomorrow I am back to counting the WW points so that I can stay in the range of food that I should be having. Even though I am very low in sodium I was still over in the amount of food I should be having in a day. So I am going to work on that along with the salt and sugars. This will keep my carbs down also which I need to do for me in order to lose. So I did end up very low in sodium but not good because of the candybar. But I drank an extra 32 oz of water today also.

Wednesday Menu:

Breakfast:

Egg = 65
Milk 1 cup skim = 130
Raisen Bran 1 cup = 350

Lunch:

2 chicken nuggets = 180
Some Fries just a few = 67 1/2
Pumpkin muffin = 60

Snack:

Fruit bar = 120

Dinner:

Chicken 3 oz. = 63
Potatoes on the grill = 2 cups = 14
Corn 1 cup no salt added kind = 0

3 musketeer bar.

Total sodium for the day before the candy bar is 1049 1/2. So I know I am still under the 2400 mg for the day. So I ended up doing great. But still eating too much I think to lose.

I didn't do any exercise today but I have drank 96 oz. of water today

I am going to start counting the points tomorrow to keep me on the right track for the portion control. I have been weighing everything but still eating too much I think. If I was counting today I wouldn't have had the 2 cups of potatoes at dinner. So that would have been better.
