Default Wednesday Fourth of July

Good Morning everyone,

Happy 4th of july everyone. What is everyone doing today? We are having a small picnic. I decided that I am not going to make my pasta salad otherwise I will eat it.LOL

Congratulations on the 3/4 lb loss. Keep up the great work. Any loss is great. It is better to come off slow so it will stay off longer. Keep up what you are doing it is working for you.

Sorry to hear about your gain. But it could be water weight. When we gain I know it is very hard but we have to keep going and not get down. I know I do the same thing when I gain. But we really have to get away from focusing so much on the scale. I know I will probably have a gain this week to because I only ate good one day. But you know what I have worked out for every day this week. I have also lost inches I know this because I took my measurements and I have lost and inch in my waist, thighs and my hips. So the exercise is working. I am going to keep it up and just make better choices after today. We can all do this. I weighed in at the doctors yesterday and had a 2 lb gain over the past 3 weeks but I didn't let it get me down. I am trying to concentrate on me and you know what. We are the same lovely people no matter what the scale says. There is more to us then how much we weigh. I know we all want to reach our goals but I don't think that beating yourself up every week at weigh in is the way to go. I am included. I do the same thing as the rest of you do. We have to change that way of thinking and then we will start to lose.
Don't give up you are a winner every week when you keep coming back. We will all reach our goals someday by sticking together. I am so proud of you for all of your efforts and you should be proud of you to. You are a winner.

Glad to have you hear while you are waiting for your new arrival. It is so exciting having a baby. I have only one and she is great. I remember getting ready I was nervous and excited all at the same time. She just turned 3 in june. Spend all the time you can with him once he is here because the time flys by so quickly you won't believe it. They are a lot of fun and you will have your frustrating times to but you will do great. Let us know when he arrives. Glad that you are here with us and that you are going to join tops again after the delivery. I would probably do the same thing. It will be much easier to do after you are settled with the baby and all. Just keep eating healthy and not too much junk and you will do fine. I think that the reason so many people gain so much extra weight during their pregnancy is that they use it as an excuse to eat more.LOL It is hard because you are more hungry but we still have to make healthy choices. Remember you are feeding him with what you are eating. Would you give him a lot of junk food probably not.LOL If you need anything we will be here for you. Take care and I can't wait to see what he looks like.

I am having a picnic today that is about it. I have been working out like crazy this week. I was a little over for the calories that I should be having yesterday and just under the max for the sodium. That is because I ate lunch so late yesterday not until 2pm. I usually eat like between noon and 1pm. So I was starving. Then I had a little bag of cheez doodles and had a candy bar on top of it. So if I didn't have the junk I would have done great. But yesterday is over. And I am proud of what I have done this week. I feel much better about me like christie does. And I have worked out everyday. Yesterday and sunday I worked out doing the aerobics for 1 hour. I am getting in more of an aerobic workout also doing it for 35 min a day. I am getting my waist and my hips big time. All the way down my sides and my hips are sore. Which means that I am working them and they are getting smaller by measurments so that is all I am worried about. When the scale goes up at least I can say that I did accomplish something this week because my body is getting smaller. That is a big accomplishment for me.

I am so glad that you found yourself again. It is always good to do that. I can tell just by talking to you that you are a much happier person this week. Like you it is that time of month. It was supposed to be here yesterday and I am late so I will have extra water weight this week anyway.
It is much easier to stay on track when you are not so down on yourself and you can put everything into perspective. Moderation is the key. I have had so many people tell me this over the past few months and I just didn't listen to them. I was too busy trying to find a way to lose this weight and driving myself crazy and the scale up. So now I am finally listening. We don't have to give up everything we just can't eat the whole thing. A few bites of something is not going to kill us.

Let me know how everyone makes out tomorrow at weigh in. Have a great day today with your familes and try not to eat too much.LOL

Well so far so good for today..Had a bowl of fruity pebbles and a cheeseburger from Mcdonalds so far so I am not complaining LOL
I am having bbq chicken (skinless) cheddar potatoes (very little) and corn for supper, and later some sort of fruit for dessert, I too havent started the TOM either, so I have the water weight too unless I start tonight...which would be GREAT!!! But if not I am not gonna stress, I am just gonna give the program and smile

Hi Lisa,

If you are lurking. I was just reading the bio thread for the updates and noticed you were looking for other kops. I know there are a few here. The only ones I know for sure are Christie and Summer. I think there is someone else but I can't tell you who it is. I don't know. But they are KOPS as well and they can understand what you are going through as well.

Thought this might help you out.

Welcome to all the new comers that added their name to the bio's. You should post on the daily thread so we can get to know you better.

I hope everyone is having a good fourth of july. We are getting rained out and stormed on right now. We are not having good luck with the weather.

I am feeling so fat today. I finally got my monthly today. But my jeans are so tight I hate it. Starting tomorrow I am back to my points and I am sticking with it so I can lose this weight. I am taking today and tomorrow off from exercising to give my body a break. I am really sore. But I am happy because my new way of exercising is paying off. I have lost 1 inch in my thighs, hips and waist this week. I know the scale will be up tomorrow but I don't care because I know that even though I overate this week all but one day. I did great because I have lost an inch all over. That is something to be proud of and I am not going to let the scale take that away from me. But I am seriously going to start sticking with my points so I can lose this weight. I enjoyed myself today. Only had breakfast and ate once after that. So that isn't so bad. I just can't stand wearing these pants this tight.

Hi everyone-- I have had a nice anniversary just hanging out with hubby.Ate way toooooooooo much.But I am going to start over "again" tomorrow.I have gained at least 5 more pounds and I feel it.And not in a good way. We will leave soon to watch the fire works. I can see them from my back deck but we are going a little closer and park in grocery store parking lot.
It is good to see the new members going to the bio's.I try to keep it towards the top so it doesn't get lost.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy fourth.

Talking Hello ladies!!

Hope everyone had a happy holiday today!!

My husband had to work today so my son Matthew and I spent the day relaxing. Guess it's a good thing I didn't have any plans because we had some terrible thunderstorms rumble through today. It got pretty hairy there for awhile too.

Christie~~ How long have you been a KOPS?

Sherri~~ Do you do the WW points program? That's what I plan on doing as soon as I return to TOPS in a few weeks. I've had success with it before and it's the easiest thing I've found so far. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Sherri- I know exactally how you feel about the monthly.... I am SO late, I just hope to start tonight myself...and girl.. You needed a break from exercise, You have been working your buns off

Stephanie- Hey girl!! I made Kops in January this year, And it has been the hardest thing I have ever done to keep it, But thanks to this board I have kept it, I see your gonna do the WW points plan when the baby is born.. I know whatever you do you will do just great

Today was good. Everyone was gone and I was queen of the house. Also had a good day on program.
Probally my best motivation , next to Tops, and this board , is being committed for the entire year thro the ups and downs,er, the losses and gains. Because thro it all we are winners.

Thanks everyone for posting. It really keeps me on TOPS>
