Hello,
I feel like I've been gone forever instead of just a couple of days. Monday was a whirlwind at work because it was my last day of training with the girl who's position I am filling. I was off work, yesterday, today, and then again tomorrow and Friday. We are leaving for MO in just a few hours; I have so much to do before then! However, I know it's important for me to check in and remind myself that I have a plan and a goal to get to ONEderland...and I'm not going to blow that off now that the holiday season is here.
I did some shopping yesterday. I've got half the list done. I really enjoyed it to. It was just me and me alone. I like spending time with me! lol
I'll check back in with everyone on Sunday. Have a wonderful holiday and remember it's not about the food but time spent with family, friends and make some time for you too!
Happy Thanksgiving ladies!! I did not reach my goal this time, but I will be sure to reach it before Christmas Way to go to all you ladies for doing such an awsome job on the challenge, I will tabulate the results Saturday afternoon so be sure to have those last weigh ins posted
Hi everyone.... I didnt make my goal for thanksgiving .... I want to really try and do better til the end of the year.... I know now, I cant make it to 200 but hopefully, I would like to be 210.....I didnt weigh in this past week....I was under the weather so didnt attend the meeting..I will be making Thanksgiving desserts and foods for the family, will do my best .....Everyone have a blessed holiday.....India ( ( added some NY snow ) Christian, do you want my weight for the next official Tops weigh in or just skip it?? Barb
I weighed in today and I am down another 5.25 pounds That makes over 20 pounds in less than a month I am so happy to have had the support here...it's helped me so much!
I haven't been around in a while, just had to drop in and remind you (and myself) not to let stress get you down. Have a wonderful day. And remember if you over do on the desserts to do a little more and watch the rest of the weekend! Hugs to you all.

I gained 5 pounds this week! I've been so off track, and I don't know why. I kind of vascillate ... I'm fine for breakfast and lunch, but I blow it for dinner. Unrecognized holiday "celebration" mode, or something?
Anyway, I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year, but since it's my first time ever cooking a turkey, I'm keeping it simple and low-key. It's going to be me, DS, my mom, and a brother who said he'd stop by (but he's famous for no-shows). Once we're done eating, I'm going to suggest/insist that everybody goes for a brief walk this afternoon.
Phantastica, a walk after the holiday meal is a great idea. I do the same thing. You can also suggest that everyone who does stop by take leftovers home with them...especially the TEMPTING foods
About the recent gain...just accept where you are at and move forward from here...you can do this! Look at it as a temporary detour and get back on the path *today*
Christian... the 28th is the next official weigh in, I did however, remain the same ..... I just want to add the correct weight so it is fair........I didnt do t oo bad really, since I didnt do a lot of cooking and have left overs to deal with, it wasnt bad....I am looking forward to the next challenge... Hopefully the weight will move in the right direction t his time... India
