Thumbs up Friday Morning

Hello group....Last night was weigh in and I done pretty good this last week, I lost 2 1/2 pounds. I met this weeks goal and had a 1/2 pound to go on the challenge to make up for last week short fall. Now I'm only a pound behind. Only 3 people showed up at meeting. We all 3 lost so we will get a no gain meeting on our record.

Nita...My scales at home was right with the tops scales. I would weigh without cloths the same as I weighed there with scales. But last night I weighed 2 81 at home and the tops scales weighed me at 283. I knew at some point it might change, and last night was the night. Oh well I know what I weigh at home and I just have to keep watch on that.
Eleni...What a good loss you had, congrats. Doesn't it feel good. I can't wait to get out of the 80's. We just have to keep on keeping on no matter how small or large the loss is. Sooner or later we will get there. Exercise in the pool is one of the best exercise's there is. I have a above ground pool, but I'm taking it out. It's in the shade all the time and believe it or not, it stays cold, and I'm not able to keep it clean anymore. I didn't even uncover it last year.

I hope everyone else is doing great with food programs.

Happy Friday, all!

I weighed in at TOPS last night with a 3-pound loss (for 2 weeks, since I missed last week's weigh-in and meeting). I alsojust found out recently that I'm getting a huge raise at my full-time job, so I will stop working Thursday nights at my part-time job so I can actually go to my TOPS meetings EVERY week! I'm definitely looking forward to the required weekly accountability of having to weigh in.

Jillybean...Congratulations on the raise and on the weight loss. Way to go girl!

Belle...Congratulations on your loss. 2.5 lbs is a very good loss. My home scale doesn't weigh the same as TOPS scale either. In fact, as weight recorder I hear everyone complain about what they weighed at home or at the Dr.'s office not being the same as they weigh at TOPs. I think all scales must weigh differently. One lady came in and told me she weighed 5 lbs less at her doctors office. She thinks we need new scales. Then others come in and tell me they weighed more at their doctor's office. I tell them that TOPS scale is the one we go by.

I had a 2 lb. loss today, not as much as I gained last week, but in the right direction. I suggested to the chapter today that we have a bikini contest. You should have heard the laughter. Apparently they thought they would need to wear a bikini. LOL. Then I showed them a bikini drawn on 2 sheets of paper and explained that we could earn polka dots to put on them. They liked the idea, so we will be starting that contest in 2 weeks.

Well...I need to get going. So everyone have a good weekend.

Hello all,It has been a rainy dreary day and will be more of the same tomorrow as tropical storm Arlene passes by. I was getting in a good groove of exercising in pool but water is too cool now.Should be back in it by Sunday I hope.
Am trying to keep a food chart this week.Especially trying to keep track of night eating. We stopped at grocery store to pick up a couple things and spent $60.
And we will have to go back Sunday for more. We both wanted some chips so bad.Have not had a chip in 3 months.Have not been craving anything until the last few days and both of us have been wanting chips. I bought fruit instead. Fruit is main carb I have brought back in diet. I usually have 1 apple and 1 orange everyday. But I bought some black grapes,watermelon and cantolope tonight. Made myself a fruit cup instaed of chips. Unfortunately I still want chips
