Default Terrific Tuesday (as Penny always says!)...

Hello,
I did very well with my goals yesterday. I'm really glad I started to log my food again, because last night I was eating these Orange Slices (you know..the candy kind) and I realized that I had 6 of them and that if I wasn't going to write down my food I would have not taken them into consideration. Because I was logging my food, I realized that I had made my choice to have my "desert" then, so I couldn't have anything later. I'm wondering (although I have a pretty good idea) how many of those type calories I've let slip up on me, and in turn they let the scales slip up to a higher number?

We received some snow last night and the roads were slippery, so my Accounting class was canceled (didn't cry about that one! *smile*), so I got an extra walk in. I walked for an hour and went just about 3 miles.

How's everyone else doing? Anyone else dreaming of summer? I am and I see myself just about at that 200 mark, and looking thinner than I've looked for years, attending all the high school graduation houses I have to go to this summer, yep..there I am...tanned, my stomach not sticking out, my arms sculpted from all the weight training, my toenails painted coral, in strappy sandles, with a really cute sundress....oh yeah...I see it. I'm smiling...everyone is saying "look at you...how much weight have you lost?"...man does that feel good!

Susie,

Hey girl glad you are journaling your food it really does help. I am proud of you for stopping with the candy. Have you tried the orange sugarfree jello. That might give you the sweetness you need with out all the sugar and fat. Just a thought. I love jello but only the red.LOL Keep going. That is great that you decided to get in extra exercise because your class was cancelled. Good thinking. It will help.

As for me sorry I haven't been here for some reason I haven't been able to get into the site for the last 2 days. Don't know why. I was just able to get in tonight. I tried from my parents house today and couldn't get in up there either. So here I am now.
I thought I was going to have a great weighin but didn't. My scale was down 2 lbs to 188 I was so excited this morning. I get there to weigh in and I was up .02 lbs. I know not much but it is a gain anyway. I have looked back to what I was doing the first week I did the wendie plan and I remembered I was drinking my water daily and walking in the living room during dr. phil. Also I was doing the strength training and floor exercises. I haven't done them in 2 weeks now. So I had my DH bring in the recumbant bike I have from the garage now I have room in my decluttered house in the living room for it. So yesterday I rode for 10 miles total. It took 2 sittings to get this done but that is the goal for me to go at least 10 miles 5 days a week and drink my water along with keeping the points. I realize the added exercise is what really helps with everything else. I also did strength training for my arms last night to. It will make a difference in the end I know.
We got snow here yesterday and the night before as well here in NY. Yes susie I am dreaming of the summer as well but I can't picture myself like you can. Wish I could.LOL I do know I am going to be a lot lighter by then though because I am determined to make this work. That is why I am pushing for my 10 mi a day on the bike along with the strength training. I have already gotten in 5 mi today so far. When I am done here I will go and finish up for the night. It makes me feel good to accomplish it and not give up because it is hard for me to do.
We ended up with about 11 inches of snow this time. Did I mention it before I HATE SNOW.LOL I hope spring gets here soon.

Oh I almost forgot I am so excited. I have decided to host a father/daughter dinner/dance for my daughters whole first grade class. I want it to be an annual thing. I have talked to a few parents and they love the idea. I am putting together the info for it and getting it to the principal. We have set a date for May 14th. I can't wait it will be a lot of fun. I have a lot of work ahead of me along with getting help from some of the other moms. But the girls and fathers will have a great time. We will have a buffet style dinner in the cafeteria and the dance in the gym. It will be free. I am looking for people to donate decorations and food for the event. If it is successful we will have it every year until this class graduates. It will only be for their class and not the other grades. I had to figure out when they graduate and it is the year 2016. That sounds so weird doesn't it?
Anyway have a great night and do something special for you.

For doing so well getting back on track! Visualizing is great! And I hope it lands you at the 200 mark for sure!

That is awesome about the dance! That is the same day as the Kidney Walk! Funny huh? LOL Sorry about the small gain, don't sweat that girl! You are doing awesome!

I gotta get myself up and dressed!
