Default Saturday!

Hi Ladies! I did absouletly horrible yesterday, but I discovered the culprits and am going to fix it today!

I am going to beat and keep beating this battle until it can't be beat anymore.......LOL LOL I am doing a food journal this week and keeping track of all those little bites, drinking my water, and doing my Tae Bo.

I just feel so much better (and skinnier) I might add.......lol whenever I exercise and eat right! And why not do something that makes you feel better? RIGHT!

OK, Here is my order for the day (NON FOOD RELATED!!!!!)

DO SOMETHING TODAY THAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER FOR YOURSELF AND ABOUT YOURSELF!!!

example: Get a fresh new do (haircut), buy a new piece of jewerly, just do something that makes you feel better about you!

DO Not buy clothes nor Food ! I have found that clothes shopping does not make you feel better about yourself...... expecially since you use to shop in a store every week but now you say, " There is no way I am even trying that on"!!! LOL Not that that happened to me or anything LOL LOL LOL

Anyways you get the point! I want everyone to come back this evening and say what you did for yourselves to make YOU feel better!

Your Friend Penny

Christie,

You are already ahead of me with the sodium thing. I had the regular cold cereal. I could have saved on the sodium with the oatmeal. I will for the rest of the week. I was eating it everyday. And come to think of it when I was losing that is what I was eating. We sure save on the sodium and the sugar by choosing it over the cold cereals.
I am sorry I woke you up at least it wasn't 5 am like I did to someone else once and almost died because I didn't realize it until it was too late. I just figured you would have been up with the kids by 9. Must be nice to sleep in girl. I don't know what it is like.LOL
Have a great day on plan. Your breakfast is great. Where is your milk and fruit. Remember you have to get all the food groups in there. They are just as important. I tried something new I made up on my own for lunch and it was very good. Less in sodium then the sandwich and everything on it. I will have a sandwich a few times this week. But the rice and chicken is a great thing also. I am so worried about lunch on tuesday now. Now that I know how much sodium is in the subs from subway I am definetely not going there anymore. I will go to a diner somewhere in hopes they have something low in sodium. Any ideas as to what to have eating out for lunch? I will take any ideas here.

Penny,

Glad to see that you didn't let yesterday get you down. I know you didn't have any control over the situation. But at least you are prepared today. I will tell you that tonight I will take a bubble bath for myself. I like to do that when I am cold and I am feeling it today. It is damp here but humid. I left the air on while I was gone today and it is cold in here to me and we are out of fuel. So a nice hot bubble bath sounds great to me. What are you doing for yourself today? Let me know. Have a great day on plan.

I hear you about buying clothes. I always get depressed when buying clothes so I don't go there. I usually try to get them second hand but sometimes I get them new. Usually my husband buys them for me once a year at christmas. He has better luck getting pants that fit me then I do and I haven't even tried them on when he gets them. One time I wanted a pair of jeans and I tried on jeans for almost an hour to find the ones that would fit me. I never knew they had so many different cuts of jeans until that night. That was a few years ago. It was very frustrating. I don't see how woman can shop all the time like they do. It would drive me crazy. I like to get in and get what I need and get out.LOL

Have a great day Penny. I am waiting for your call by the way.

I am doing great so far today on plan. I will lower the sodium intake tomorrow with the oatmeal instead. I am going to try and keep it as low as I possibly can. I really want a loss this week.

Sherri

Hi everyone!
The family and I just got back from a long day of site-seeing. It was wonderful!! Two beautiful castles and we lucked out at one and got to see the North Sea!! Somebody said it's almost always hazy but we got to see for miles! The kids loved it too! Hubby's a nervous wreak (lol) though because of all the crazy English roads. My fingernails are permanently stuck into the dash!! We had a picnic too and I didn't eat very well but that's ok. I'm not beating myself up about it! It's been a long time since we had a family day like that!!
I should have wore the pedometer today, hubby is complaining his feet hurt. lol We probably walked a good couple of miles! I'm fine though! I think all this hard work is finally paying off!
That's a great idea about watching your sodium! I know I have way too much in my diet!
I did do something for me the other day! I got my eyebrows waxed. It wasn't exactly pampering.lol But it was for me and it made me feel better!
Well, time to put the kids to bed. Not sure if they are ready because they both napped in the car. Talk to yous soon!

Hi everybody
Boy do I know what you mean about buying clothes It's even worse at my size.Either I can't find anything big enough or it looks horrible and I look even bigger I have been reduced to tears many a time trying to buy clothes. It is frustrating and depressing
I have done fair so far today.I am going on treadmill in a minute. No pool as it is still raining.
Have you checked out the new TOPS site and their message board.I went over there a little last night.I wasn't sure how to navigate on it . It seemed to be a active board.I like this one better but it was interesting checking that one out.
Sherri-I didn't have time to read your tips this morning so I printed them out and read them later when I had more time
Penny and Tamara --Looks like you and I are having a battle this week. If food didn't taste so good it would be easier.
I have got to start taking notes when I read the boards.I forget who said what.I remember what is said just not who said it.I know children that is old age setting in but it will happen to you some day

Thanks to new people that posted on Bio thread.
Well I better get on that treadmill or I will have an excuse to not do it.The thing I am going to do for myself to make me happy is talk my hubby into playing a board game."Maybe"
Take care and have a great weekend:wave"
