Default Christie and Wanda...

Your menu's look good. I need to get back to finding the time to type mine out again. As I gained 1.75 lbs. this week. Today, however I walked over 2 miles to the pharmacy while dh worked on the car. I needed my meds. so I put on my tennis shoes and walked there. I did quite well too. I walked faster than I thought I would be able to.

Keep up the good work.

Why is it that I always start off with a good well balanced breakfast, but then life's curves through the day sometimes get me off track. Anyone else feel that way?

lbsbgone- I had the exact same problem you are speaking of
I needed structure I guess and eating 6 times a day made me feel satisfied , another thing I started doing is to write down a whole week of eating with snacks included so that no matter what I have no excuse to eat the wrong foods. Also cleaning out the cabinets and fridge was a BIG plus, even my kids are eating fruits and vegetables everyday now, I am not only changing my life for myself but in hopes that by keeping my environment clean will boost the health of the people I love most as well. Little things that just take 10 or 15 minutes a week really do help....You will be fine, and just as Dr. Phil says" This has nothing to do with willpower...It is a changing the way you look at food and eating to live not living to eat". I actually know what he was saying Hope this helps
