Super Saturday

  • Hello All,
I spent most of the day cleaning the house and decorating for Christmas. I slept in a little bit. Hubby was at work, so I got up at 8:00 a.m., had some breakfast and got to it. It felt so good to clean with no one around! I really did a good job. I did the baseboards and the registars. My DH has been running the sweeper for me because it seems to flare up my IC, but I wanted to give it a through cleaning, so I said a prayer, slapped on a Therma Care and took breaks. I'm feeling ok so far and I'm thinking its a good sign because in the past I would've felt bad by now.

I have everything decorated and I'm planning on spending some time tomorrow wrapping the gifts that I've already purchased. I'm determined that I won't feel overwhelmed this season!

I have finished my Accounting final. No all I can do is wait for the grade. I feel that I did pretty well. I know I worked extra hard to make sure that would happen!

Yesterday when I was out shopping at Wal-mart before I went to work. I ran into some of my relation that I haven't seen since June. She kept going on and on about how thin I looked! Man did that feel nice to hear.

Hope eveyrone is having a good weekend. Remember to stay on plan...we wil start this new year not wishing that we were thinner but KNOWING that 2005 is the year we will reach our goals, because we have remained true to ourselves and them through the holiday season!

    HUGS,
    Susie
  • Good for you!
Susie, sounds like you have had a busy day. I have done some house cleaning myself and laundry! But I haven't started decorating yet. I am having vynil put in my kitchen, entry and bathrooms tomorrow. It looks like tile and I hope I like it. I have had carpet every where execpt the entry for years. Then on Tuesday, they will do the carpets. Then I can decorate. I am ready to get my house back. Most of my furniture is in the garage, we painted and just moved it out there so it wouldn't be in the way. We have quite a few antiques and would rather move them ourselves than risk someone else doing it.

Then this afternoon we went out and helped some friends pick up pecans.
They have had over 200 pounds cracked and shelled already and and had picked up another 100 last week. I know we picked up at least that many today. My back is broken!!! This is from 4 trees in his dad's yard.
My husband said if he couldn't get up, I could just feed him breakfast in bed! Ha!

I didn't weigh in last this week. It was on Wed. and I was out of town. Our Christmas Party is next week I will have to weigh in then! I did good on Thanksgiving, we we ate Chinese last night and that is a no no for me! But got right back OP this AM.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and a are having a good week end.

    More later,
    Wanda
