Good morning, Couldn't sleep so I have been awake for awhile. I will try to do this again. I had a long one yesterday and lost it before I could get it posted. I was not a happy camper.
I went with my sister yesterday and we met a lady from one of the other threads. Mima She has dropped by here a few times.Nice lady. It is always fun to meet someone we meet here.
The new baby is doing fine altho Rebekah is not.She is extremely tired and in pain.They think she has a fibroid cyst that is causing pain. She lost her one ovary in her early 20's because of same thing.They told her at the time she would never have anymore children but has had two since. They are trying to get her better.
We just had a small cool snap here. I actaually had a jacket on for awhile yesterday. We went from 80 degrees to low 40's.But thats Florida.It will soon warm up again.
I am doing good.I am back on track and even have an exercise program of sorts.One of my new members decided to challenge me to move more. I did not want to damper her enthusiasm so half heartedly went along.But she was very compeling and she changed my attittude.So I now have an exercise chart that I work on and will be mailing it to her each monday. I have been doing good on it and will increase amy routine tomorrow. It is just walking in my office a given amount of time a day and taking a short walk at break.Then Sat and Sun are richards sitting tape. By friday it was getting easier to do. I am not use to my members putting so much time into helping me. I get at least 2 emails a day from this lady.When we know someone is counting on us to get something done we try harder.
My art teacher told me I had raw talent yesterday.That sounds good.I hope she was being honest. Either way I am enjoying learning to draw.I signed up for the next 6 weeks.She now has a waiting list and I did not want to be left out.
I ran into my piano teacher at a restaurant last week.He is suppose to come up with new schedule for lessons sometime this month. I still try to practice some every week and am trying to play one from memory. Almost have it.
I have had several new members join which is normal for January. I also have 2 men.One is a snow bird but one is a members husband and he is doing great. Another man came to check us out last week but it is closer for him to go to tampa so I don't expect him to return. I was asked to be a chairperson for next years SRD but I turned it down.I would have to go to Lakeland on Saturdays and I am not willing to give up my drawing class. I will help out for a few hours giving out packets etc.
Well I guess I am about caught up here. I am always lurking but uaually everything is so boring here I have nothing to say. Stay warm

I think things are finally starting to look up!

The urologist looked over Nicholas's renal ultrasound and said that it looked ok. He said that he has a slight dimple on one of his kidney's and slight fullness but nothing to be concerned about.

He said Andrew's left kidney is partially blocked not completely which is good news. He said as long as it is still draining(but slower) that we can monitior it. He will have the the same dye test repeated in 3 months. If the drainage is still the same and not any worse, he will repeat the dye test in another 6 months. But if the results are worse in three months, we will then talk about corrective surgery.

It is better news that what I expected. Andrew will have to stay on the bactrim antibiotic for at least the next three months to preventive any breakthrough kidney infections.

That is great that your teacher said you have raw talent. I don't think she would have said that if she wasn't being honest with you. I am glad you enjoy it. You waited so long to do this it is great that you are doing the things you have always wanted to do. That takes a lot of commitment on your part and determination. I am so proud of you for going through with it.
I hope your daughter is feeling better soon and won't have to have any surgery. It is hard enough to recover from just having the baby without having the complications. She is in my prayers. Does she want any more children?

That is great news about the boys I am sure you and your husband were so relieved to hear that news. All of the prayers must have helped I am sure. Now maybe things will slow down on your end without running to the hospital and dr's appt. Take time out for you. You deserve it after what you have been through along with everyone else. Thanks for letting us know.

I am doing good. John and I cleaned the house today he did all the bending hard stuff and I did the other things. It looks so much better that is for sure. I have to finished saving my documents I want into folders so my boss can put them on a disk and save them so I don't lose them when he strips down my computer. I am taking it to him tomorrow and doing a few things at the office like change my voice mail and fill out the disability papers and have him sign them so I can take them with me on tues for the dr to fill out his part so I can get them submitted for a check. Then I am officially done work until I go back. Don't know how long I will be without a computer I might be able to pick it back up on tues because he wants me to have my email here so he can keep in touch with me while I am out. Which is a good thing I think. Just wish I could do things here but oh well. It will be my time for me for a change at least every other week.LOL

It is nice and sunny here but cold. Megan had a great time at the swimming party yesterday. Wish I had my suit so I could go in to. It was 80 in there and they had a hot tub as well. It was like summer in that room. We are going back during feb break next week to swim again and I found a suit that fits me here so I will be able to swim next time to. The kids had a great time so didn't the adults.

Hey everyone!

I haven't been here much lately because for last week and this week I work from 345p-12am every day Monday to Friday at.......MY NEW JOB!!!! Finally!!! It is still customer service but a much better company that actually knows that people do have lives outside of work and we are actually compensated for the work we do. The wage is higher and the benefits are better. Once I start getting paid anyway!!! LOL.

I had to get out of where I was and it felt so good last Monday to NOT have to go in there. I am in training now so I don't know what shifts I'll have. Probably close to what I have now which I don't mind at all. I have time every day to myself and that's what counts. Hubby and I make the best of the time we have together.

Weight Loss is taking care of itself too. I have set small but attainable goals or changes I want to make each week. Such as this week is to drink 6 glasses of water each day. I may get more than that but I want at least 6. I am following Dr. Phil's regular weight loss plan, not the rapid start plan. It has worked so far. I am down 5 lbs from 10 days ago. I am the lightest I have been in over a year. I just want to take it slow.

I'm glad to hear that most are doing well. I will try to write more often, but mostly in the mornings.
