Hi all,
We had a good meeting this morning. A man from Hospice came and explained what they do. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about the help they provide in case I ever need to know. Also, our group had a good loss this morning. We had a net loss of 21.75 lbs, which is very good for us. I had to buy a new bag of marbles and I told them that I wanted all 51 of them used by the end of the year. I told them I would be responsible for 5 marbles going into the jar before the end of Dec.
Coco.....I'm so glad to see you posting again. I have missed you girl! I'm still walking at least 5 days a week. This morning I just walked in the house. I thought 'I'll walk for 15 minutes (Actually, I kinda jogged from kitchen to bedroom and back), anyway, after the 15 minutes were up, I felt so good that I did it for another 5 minutes.
Good luck with your open house Sunday and I know what you mean by those parties being expensive. My friends have been having jewelry parties and Princess House, etc. And I just can't go to anymore. My DIL started selling Mary Kay makeup and she wanted me to have a party, which I did. But I have had enough parties to last me a loonnng time.
Sherri....Hope you are doing okay. I think about you often. It sounds like the dietician is giving some good advice. Do you go back and check with her on a regular basis or as needed?
I have been reading more of Dr. Phil's book and I still am finding a lot of good stuff in it. I wish I could remember it all.
Summer.......You are in my thought and prayers, too. I hope things are going okay for you. It's amazing how I think of all of you as friends, even tho Eleni is the only one I have met. I care about all of you and wish the best for you. I better get onto something else before I get all mushy.
Eleni, Christian, Penny, and Ciecie.......You girls are doing great with the weight losses. Keep up the good work.
I better go, time for DH to come home. The cardiologist is working with him, trying to get his blood pressure down. He says high blood pressure is hard on his heart.
Bye.
Nita
