HAPPY TUESDAY LADIES!!!
First off, thanks for the welcome back. Hope I can stay around for awhile, but I never know when I have to pick up and leave with everything going on. Love the friendships here!!!!
Sherri, how did your Monday go? Has Megan started school yet?
Nita, I have been wondering how your dh has been and am thrilled to hear the good reports. I hang onto clothes too and there are some I just can't let go of. It is funny to see the styles come full circle. The only problem with hanging onto clothing is if they are big and I lose weight, I stupidly hang onto them thinking I might need them if I regain.............and sure enough I do. Next time I will just throw them out and not be able to fall back into them. You are doing so GOOD!!! Sure you feel that way too!!!!!
Christie, Yep, LET'S DO IT!!!!!! My butt is bigger to kick, but I will give you a kick too!!! I just need to do the lower carb thing........worked in the past for me..........but need to get those cravings under control by really sticking with it. Good luck with the WW!
Eleni, how is the pedometer going? Do you think it is making you get up more often? Take care of YOU!!
Coco, right now, there is NOTHING that can be done about members not being awarded because of gastric by-passes. It is a doctor prescribed weight loss program [just as TOPS states], and they need to reward them on their losses. With my experience, I don't think my suggestion has ever gone past the coordinator. I found that they don't like to 'rock the boat' if they are trying to work their way up the TOPS 'ladder'. I would recommend contacting TOPS Inc directly with suggestions. I would love to see awards given in 2 catagories: 1] for those that don't have surguries and 2] for those that do. Yes, 2 sets of Royalty would be great. With how common the surguries are now, very few Kings, Queens, Division Winners, etc will be from members that lose it 'the old fashioned sensible way'. Look at the huge losses in the latest TOPS news. In years past, not that many were common. A lot of members don't like going to the Fall Rallies and SRD's anymore, because of that ...... just not as inspiring with those that have the surguries. Others that have lost a lot 'sensibly' feel left out........and I can't blame them. Thats why I like the 2 catagory idea. At least right now, individual chapters can recognize both. Maybe get a letter together with your thoughts, have your members sign it and send it off to Wisconsin. Just my thoughts...anybody else?
I did pretty good yesterday considering how I had been. I'll take it. Today is better already, would love to make it through one entire day. I KNOW I CAN, I KNOW I CAN!!!!!! Have a great day all and chat later. Hi to everyone I haven't addressed personally.......hang onto your plans!!!!
