Wednesday Late

  • Hi all it is 10:30pm here. No one started a thread yet so I thought I would.

    I agree with nita. Plus if you take the average of what a person should be losing you are above that. They say it is good to lose 1 lb a week. Well for 1 month to lose 4 1/2 that is excellent. You shouldn't be down on yourself for that. That is 4 1/2 lbs closer to goal. Never get discouraged when you are losing girl because it means you are doing something VERY right. Go back to what you were doing and don't forget to praise yourself for a job well done last month. Just start fresh again tomorrow. You can do this I am behind you. I think increasing the exercise will help as well.

    How are you doing? That is great you are still losing also. Keep up the hard work. You are right when we exercise more and get our metabolism up we burn more fat and create more muscle.

    As for me I still can't seem to get back on track for some reason. I was doing so well at this to. I have to just do it like I told coco. We leave tomorrow for camp until sunday. I am excited and it should be a lot of fun. I plan on taking time out for me this weekend and relaxing. Something that I haven't done in awhile. I just hope it is possible. I am bringing my book with me, a find a word book, and a notebook to come up with a plan of action and a plan for the times when I might go off plan. I am going to really sit and think this through and find out what this all means to me. It is easy to talk the talk and want to do it but it is much different to set our minds to it and know we are going to do it and actually succeed at it. So I am going to be doing some soul searching this weekend. That is the plan anyway. I bought a really neat lawn chair that reclines and is a back pack so you can put stuff in the back pack and then carry the whole thing on your back chair and all. So that will be great to have when going down to the beach. I decided tonight that I can lose this weekend because I can just enjoy everything about the trip and not focus on food. I am going to get some fruit to take with me and some stuff to make tossed salad. I think I will pass on the pasta salad it is a lot of carbs and fat that I don't need. I will make the mac salad I don't like that one so I will be safe.
    I still have some things left to get in the morning and to finish packing then we will be out of here. Can't wait to just get camp set up and organized so we can kick back and relax. We are taking all of our bikes so we can go riding so that will be nice and good exercise as well.
    Well I am out of here for the night and I will talk to you all when I get back. Have a great 4th of July weekend and remember we are worth taking the extra time for.
    I realized that I do a lot of things in my life without thinking about them and that is one of my big problems not only with food. I am too quick to act and don't think. If I thought about things first it would slow me down and I would be a lot farther ahead in life. I realized I can get anything I want in life if I only set a plan and take it one step at a time and pull out all the stops and find ways of getting around the things we think are impossible. I have learned that this week from reading my book. I love the book it is helping me realize a lot of things.
