Default Good morning all

Coco-glad you are back on track. It sure can be hard sometimes. Seems like i'm still doing the yoyo thing. Exercise isn't a priority right now, like it should be. Maybe once the pills the doc. gave me kick in it will be better.
Although walking after you eat is a good thing with this.
Summer-When do you leave for your trip?
Did you find your birth certificate?
Wanda-I've cut way down on my cooking because of that sampling thing. Hubby does most of it. When I'm not trying to watch what I eat, which is never anymore, I love to cook.
Sherri-Sorry to hear about the breakfast thing, but sounds like you being the business woman that you've been meant to be, you have a plan already in the making. God has great things for you. Just hang in there.
You know everyone, god has those same plans for us, too.
christie-haven't seen you around much, hope everything is ok.
Nita-All i'm going to tell you is keep up the great work. Are you the one with the food cal. thing?
Me-boy could i go on. Seems as though bell has managed to rip me from everyone in the department. Long story, and try to put in my journal. Haven't started the job yet. Hopefully tuesday. A lot of changes going on.
You know what's really funny,I've tried so hard to take people and give them chances at work, but I keep getting screwed. The exercise thing, like i said isn't going. I'm hoping to get to curves tonight.
Well going to do the journal thing, and maybe get some work done before i go in.
yeah right.
oh, i've been wanted to have all of you guys that say those prayer things to pray. A friend of ours was in a weird 4 wheeler accident. It will be 2 weeks on Sunday. The weekend that our area had a lot of wind. Blew a tree thirty feet down on his head. A friend of the family preformed cpr on him, and they airlifted him to the u of Michigan hospital. They enduced a coma state on him because when ever he moves, his vital signs drop way down. He is on a resperator, and he now is opening his eyes. From what i understand no brain damage. Finally got a cat scan done on him. But they fear that he will be paralized from the neck down.
So please remember in him in your prayers. We are going Friday to see him.
Everyone else that i may of missed. Hang in there. It is all at our finger tips all we have to do is stretch a little to reach it. Make those efforts that don't seem like they are possible. Making one little effort everyday will get us there.

Hi Everyone,

Just have a few minutes. DH gets home at 3:30 and I just got a new recipe in the oven. It's supposed to take 2 hours to bake. It's Sweet and Sour Pork, but not high in calories. About 214 calories (according to Master Cook)per serving, plus we will be having rice with it and a salad and some sliced cantaloupe.

Wendy.....It sounds like you are under a lot of stress right now and its very hard to diet when you have stress and so much on your shoulders. Try to take a little time to take care of yourself, you can worry about diet and exercise when you feel better. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I will say a prayer for him.
Yes...I am the one with the calorie counting. I log everything I eat into my computer program and it isn't always pretty. But I have been faithful with it. On days when I eat too much, I cut back the next day so that I average 12-13 hundred calories a day. The weight is coming off sooo slowly, but its a program that I can live with. I ate out today after our chapter meeting and have only about 500 calories left for the day, but I think I can do it with the dinner I have planned....if I don't eat any bread and butter.

Coco...I'm glad to see that you are getting back on track. Have you tried going to the American Diabetes Association on the web and checking out the diet they recommend. It used to be the exchange diet, but I'm not sure if it still is. This is going to be a hard weekend to get thru , but together we can. We can do this.

DH is home.

Linlin...I heard something about why we desire chocolate, but can't remember right now...Senior moments, you know. Did you get your carpet dried out from the leaking hose. I hate it when my drain stops up and my washer overflows. Which it does about every 2 years and I have to get the plumer out to clean the pipes.

Wanda.....Hope you are doing okay and have fun at your family reunion.

Sherri, Eleni, Summer and everyone, hope you are all doing good and that everyone has a good weekend.

Nita
