Default Eleni's self help tape #1 if you are interested

This is the one for my truck as I head to work
As I begin this day I will keep in mind the goal I seek.
Today is a new day. This is another chance to do what it takes to reach my goal. I can not undo what I may have done yesterday.
But I can do better today.
I will try to control my over-eating so that I can lose all this extra weight that is making my life so miserable.
I will eat less and move more and become healthier.
Whenever I have the desire to overeat I will remind myself of what the overeating has done.
I will concentrate on only eating when hungry and stop when I am full. Whenever I go to eat when I know I am not really hungry I will find a way to resist.
I will eat slower and I will consciously make an effort to take smaller bites.I will also chew my food longer.
Whenever I do eat fast I will remind myself to slow down.
Even if I have to completely stop eating for a few seconds.
I will try to refrain from taking second helpings. I will also try to not eat after 7 o’clock.
I will not beat myself up if I have a bad day.That only makes things worse.
The main thing is to take control of my eating and be aware of what and how much I am eating.I will stop myself from stress eating and random eating when not hungry
I can do this. I have the ability to do this. I am only one that will keep me from succeeding.
My life depends on this.I can and will do this one meal at a time.One day at a time.
It is all up to me. And I will do it and not give up and start binge eating. This is something that many other people have done. And this is something that I can do as long as I stay focused. And I will be ever mindful that it will be so wonderful once I lose this weight. Each few pounds will get me closer to my goal . To weigh less and feel better.
