I guess I'll start today since everyone seems busy.

We haven't got the storm yet that they were calling for we did get about an inch of snow but now they are saying it might be tonight.

Nothing exciting to report. My little one has been sick for about 2 weeks. She seemed to be getting better but now she has a terrible cough. I have to leave work right away and take her to the walkin clinic since her dr is closed today and I don't want to ignore her cough any longer. She will be 2 on the 19th. Unfortunately that means, no work out for me and probably a 2 hour wait at the clinic, so I will pick something up for dinner. Will make a good choice for me like a Wendy's salad or Subway.

My little smiley guy is blue from the cold.

We had as cold front blow through this morning around 9 a.m. so its a regular blizzard outside. Very strong winds and snow blowing around. Supposed to last a few hours, and then stay cold till Sunday. Good thing Spring is only a couple of weeks away 'cause that'll change everything LOL. Around here Spring may not actually arrive till mid-April or May...that day on the calendar is just a day on the calendar!

We had elections last night. Some of it was very painful. The girl elected leader was not very sure she wanted it, but let her name stand, and then no one else would. I think she feels she got railroaded a bit. I told her I would help her with whatever she needed. I told the group a few weeks ago that I was not running for any position because I will be moving during the year, and it is hard on an executive to lose someone in the middle of the year. And, my ladies had started depending on me to do everything. I have some major stress in my life right now and told them I cannot handle the TOPS Leader job anymore.

The new Leader has only been coming to TOPS for about 8 months, and her husband didn't want her to do it. The other two elected last night as Co-Leader and Secretary just joined the first week of January this year. The treasurer has been in our Chapter about 2 years, and was Treasurer last year, and said she would continue. Tells me the ones who have been coming for several years just want to come and sit. I told them they all need to help out as much as they can. We'll see.

Just 3 more weeks till I turn it over. They will do fine. Maybe I will be able to start losing some weight too. I am 11 pounds from goal (up a pound last night).

Congratulations, Wendy, on your new position. You will be a great Leader of your group! Good for you for being willing!

Liz sorry to hear about your gain. Hang in there, you are so close. Our current leader reminded everyone that if they didn't help out, we might not have a group. We have a new treasure, and the current leader and myself switched places, other than that, they stayed the same. The current weight recorder did ask a different girl to help her out. One that is willing. And she knows her tops, and Kops stuff. She has been a Kops for 12 years. weigh to go for her.
Linlin- I know it's so hard when the little ones are sick. Mine too has a cough. Haven't taken him yet for that. I'm thinking soon though, cuz it looks like he has a sinus thing going on too.
I hope everyone feels better.
Sherri-how did weigh in go this morning? How did the doctors appointment go last night?
Nita-have they found you bil yet. I hope you all are doing fine. I'm thinking of you.
Eleni-how is it going? Christie, Mickey, all the new ones, that i'm forgetting the names too. We all can get this weight off.
I want to say i'm never buying candy again. Yeah right. That's all i'm saying on that note. I went to the doctor today, and I have pressure in my ears, sinus infection, and congested. $40 plus dollars later. I know I shouldn't complain, but that was after the co-pay for all the prescriptions he gave me. Everything he gave me is for hey fever. I didn't know a person could have hey fever this time of year. One of the meds says not to drive after taking it. I guess i will take that one at night, and after I get to work. Hopefully it will ware off by the time I leave. Maybe if won't affect me that way. I also asked him about my weigh t for Tops. This is a doctor a see maybe once a year. He looked at the chart, put me at small to med frame, and said I should weigh between 98-113 pounds at the most. Boy do I have some more work to do. I also think that when I go to the female checkup I will ask her more. I'm sure she will probably say the same. I will get a note from her though. Hey look at it this way, I only have between 74.5-59.5 to lose. Not much at all. I can do that in about 2-3 more years the rate i'm going. I was going to ask him for more diet information, so i could get a little more focused. I guess that's what i need to do. Just focus. I would like to lose 2 pounds a week. That would get me closer to goal. I'm pumped, and I'm ready. If I can keep my fingers out of the candy dish.
