Default Tuesday---Cold but it is supposed to improve.

Good morning everyone!

Where was everyone yesterday? Guess we are all so busy, hope you are doing well.

Eleni, I am glad you are feeling well enough to get back to exercising. I MUST start back, can't seem to get in the groove!

I don't have time to speak to you all, but know that I think of you and wish only the best for you. This will be a very busy week for me, need to sew with my chapter on costumes for SRD on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is TOPS night I have some crafts to work on for ARD craftroom (fund raiser) Friday I have to help decorate for a sorority Valentine Dinner on Sat. Plus help get food for it. Sat. Valentine Dinner...So if I am not around a lot, please don't forget me and I will be thinking about you, all.

I will try to post on the menu thread. That seems to help me. Hope I have a loss this week...3/4 # gain last week was not a good start to February.

BRRRRR.....it sure has been cold here! -23 F is just a little too much. Wish I could shiver off some of the weight.

Wanda, I can't get into the exercise mode either, but you are keeping busy which is good. Have fun with your SRD stuff and the other activities

I get to leave for 2 days but they will be filled with meetings, so it won't be relaxing. Dh takes off to take care of dd and I will spend tomorrow night with the other dd in her college dorm. Could be interesting. My eating has not been good and it seems the more I think about SRD and not having anything that fits that I need to wear, it just makes me want more. I don't have the money...or the time... to travel to stores to shop. The stress urges are very bad....almost like I could kill for something. I don't understand why.

Have a great day and lets try to stay on track. Water, water, water!

Hi Everyone,

It has been quiet on the boards lately. I guess everyone has been busy.

Wanda, it sounds like a lot of fun getting together with the others to make your costumes for SRD. What is the theme for your SRD and what kind of costumes are you making. Our SRD theme this year is " The land of AAHHHS." We aren't going on stage in the theme parade this year. We just didn't want to come up with costumes for the theme.

Summer...I agree that -23 degrees is just too cold. You would think that you would burn more calories just trying to keep warm. I've heard people say that drinking ice water burns more calories than drinking room temperature water.
I got it in writing today from our coordinator that there are now no limitations to the number of years any officer can hold an office.

Linlin.....Good luck with your weigh in tonight.

Hockeychic.....You're doing great. Congratulations on your weight losses.

I can't tell if I'm losing or gaining. I've been staying under my calorie limits, but its not looking good for a loss yet. I still have 2 days until weigh-in, but some days its hard to stick to it. I would like to get 4 lbs. off this month.

Default busy, cold, and thinking of you all

Things have been going ok. I've been working on some of my issues. Our slumber party postponed till March. Keeping busy is working for me. However as it goes, it all doesn't get done. Not enough time in a day to do what you want. Sounds like some are having fun, and some working a lot. Either way keep busy. I do wish that spring would pop in on us, and stay. It's supose to get really cold here tonight. I'll have to put more blankets on the bed.
Well you all take care, hang in there, and work it ladies. We can get this weight off.

I know how it is when you get off schedule of exercise and try to get back to it. It is much easier when you are doing it everyday. Then when we stop then it takes us a long time to get back to it. Probably because we would all rather not do it.LOL
Sounds like you will be very busy with everything for your chapter. Have fun.

Congratulations on the loss girl. You are back on track and doing great. Keep up the momentum girl.

Nita,

Hang in there girl. You are doing what you should it will pay off. Just don't get discouraged.

As for me. I am doing good but the scales are going up. I am numb inside and know I have to go back on the anti-depressant but I have to find one that works. I was doing much better before when I was on it.
I will take the gain this week. I am sure I will have one even though I am doing what I should. I am back to exercising this week. Last week I didn't exercise I was too sore. I am sore this week also but I am making myself do it. Because I have to exercise. I would be happy with a turtle this week. But time will tell.
Next week my goal is to stay off the scale and not think about my weight. I did much better when I wasn't thinking about it. So back to that mentality again for this coming week.

I am very busy at work which is good because I don't even think about eating all day. That is a huge plus.

Well I have to get megan in bed.

Well, it has been a long day! But that helps me, if I am busy, I'm less likely to stuff my mouth.

Worked on costumes today...our SRD theme is Teddy Bears on Parade. We are making bear costumes and putting on some extra glitz. They are going to be sooo cute. I'll send pictures when we get them finished.

Our theme for ARD is Hand in Hand...Together We Can. And we are working on that too. Sometimes I have to stop and remember what I am supposed to be doing.

We take food and share when we have a work day. We do low fat, low calorie foods and everyone eats sensible...which is good.

Summer, when I complain about cold weather, I need to just think about your weather and be thankful. -23 degrees is way too cold!!! Hope you have time to enjoy your night with your daughter...sounds like it might be interesting...a night in a college dorm!!! Don't let yourself get stressed about SRD. I know that is easier said than done. But don't let that get in the way of reaching your goal. Let's stay focused on why we are in TOPS.

Nita. I have found that if I don't eat enough I don't lose as much. Just try to stay in your calorie range (or point range if you are doing that) and watch the snacking. That is my problem. I'm betting you have a loss this week.

Shortstack, I will vote for spring, the sooner the better.
