Hi Everyone! I have a question and need some input! We leave for Mexico in two short weeks. Well, I have been Pregnant for the last two summers with my precious boys (hunter 16 mo. nicholas 4 mo.). Well, I have not had to worry about summer clothes because they were all maternity. Here's the dilemia. I have no shorts that fit me.

Do I buy clothes that fit me now or should I try to find someone to borrow clothes from? I might go to Good will or something.

(I KNOW I will not be this size for long because I am determined to lose this weight!)

I feel like if I buy clothes in the size I am now ( Size 14/16) that I will get comfortable in them and set myself up to failure. I hope you understand what I mean and have some advice for me?! THanks Penny

Hey Penny,

I would get shorts that fit you now. You have worked hard to get to where you are now. If you want go to the goodwill store. I go to the salvation army store and get clothes there. They are real nice and they are a lot cheaper. But also remember that it is nice to treat yourself to some new things. Just buy a few to get you through the week. Then when summer really hits you will be at goal and then you can buy more. It always gives us a great feeling to buy something new. Especially if it is a smaller size. I don't think you will get comfortable in them and not get to goal. You are too determined and you will make it. But like it or not you do need clothes that fit you for your trip. Splurg on you for a change. You are worth it.

Penny,I agree with Sherri.You have to have clothes for your trip.Do like she said and get enough for trip.Maybe in solid colors where you can wear same pair more than once with different blouse.There is nothing more meserable than shorts that are too tight or too loose or don't feel comfortable.I know how you feel.I hate buying clothes with a passion.But you want to have a good vacation and not have to worry if your clothes fit.
