Got to sit down for a few minutes while dd's teacher aide is here and they are doing 'math'. Tonight is weigh in and I'm not sure what it will be like, but I will accept whatever it is. Other dd comes home from college today for her month break. Yea!!!! She will watch her sister while dh and I go to my work party Friday. I can't believe we are actually having an evening out!!!!
Wendy, I hope Brandon can come off the pheno. Usually if they have been seizure free for a year, they can either take them off or start weaning. DD has been on so many of them and built up resistances and ended up getting toxic, that we would then have to move on to the next. Even with being on 3 now, she has small seizures everyday. You hang in there, sounds like he's been doing fairly well if they are talking about decreasing/stopping it. What a bummer about the truck!....but you do need the reverse gear, unless you can figure out a way to always park with your nose sticking out.
I have felt bad that I don't think I have congratulated you on how GREAT you are doing with your exercise and losses recently. I am SO PROUD of YOU!!!!

Hm, pizza dip sounds good.......but what did you serve it with? Maybe we can end up with a loss this month, with all the 'goodies' around. That would make us feel good about ourselves. I know I'm gonna try to alert to what I am stuffing in my mouth.
In regards to the pressures of HAVING to buy gifts, we do not do it anymore, and haven't for the past 6 or 7 yrs. It is SO NICE to hear a teenager say how wonderful it is to get past the 'materialism' and 'commercialism' of businesses making HUGE profits off of Christs name. I can't begin to tell you the peace that has overcome our family, with not worrying about having to rely on a special day. We give to ones we love any time throughout the year. The gift of ones time, things made with love, and caring for our fellow man is what I think, some of the best God and his Son gave us. I don't need something else that can't be used. Call me 'Scrooge' if you want, but I can't go along with societies made up things like 'Santa'.....'Easter Bunny'.... done in the name of Christ. To me, it is a 'slap' in the face to a WONDERFUL MAN who shouldn't be degraded. You should of seen my aunt that is a nun when I told her my feelings..........but you know in the end, she couldn't dispute my reasonings. It is amazing how our society dictates our thinking. Summer
when it rains it pours
my fingers crossed, but i'm not holding my breath. He was pretty active in sleep mode durning the testing. But this isn't in my hands. Then hubby came home with no reverse in the truck last night. Get this, the extended warrenty that we purchased just went out 3,000 miles ago on it, and it's been in the shop 3 times since we had it. I called about the extend warrenty, i always thought that was the actual miles that you had, excluding the amount that was on the vehicle. Evidently not. Talk about a lemon. The only thing that would be hard to prove is that its the same thing, cuz the people didn't fix it correctly the first time. The nexted used car that we purchase we will have a vin.# check on it. Maybe sooner than later. We don't owe that much on it right now. The only thing is I don't want another payment. I'm trying to get out of debt not keep making new ones. Well Christmas is tight. Some of it will actually have to wait till after Christmas. But I guess this is a reallity check for me on what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. I don't care if I get anything, I can always get the things i want later, it's not giving to my hubby that is bothering me. He said he would rather have the truck fixed, and the bills paid, and have heat, than to have anything. Ya think. (Ok, i would like the heat
