Default Sunday

Good morning to all. All my decorations in house are finished. My daughter Angel came over for 2 hours yesterday and helped. I would never have gotten it done without her. I gave her several boxes of decorations as I am downsizing my decorations. But we now have our 3 trees up and all is done. I will pick up a cloth tablecloth for counter and that is it for the decorations. I only have a few presents to wrap as I got almost all gift certificates. Even for grand-children. My grandchildren are very blessed in that they have so much stuff already. Parents suggested gift certificate as kids enjoy them. That was great for me. This way they get what they want . Bill and I finally got our grown children to realize last year that we really wanted gift certificates. Some people think it is not a thoughtful gift. I think the opposite. It is a great gift. I am really very sore. I did not realize how sedentary I was.Just being up and around for two days has wiped me out.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Wow eleni- must feel really great to have you house decorated, and your shopping done. I've barley started my shopping, and the house needs to be cleaned somemore before we get a tree. But I'm thinking between now, and the 14th is when i will get the tree up. I too am buying some gift certifics. I understand how your kids feels about it not being as special, but i'm also understanding how you feel that you can get what you really want. I'm still not complete comfortable buying them, but will for the ones that have most everything, and for the teenagers. They can be so picky. LOL
I still have to get my secret pal something, I may resort to some of the gift certifics from Mickey D's till christmas.
Today for me- getting ready to go to church, clean, work on my to do list, menu, calander planning, and hopefully see my friend sherri here later. Sure am missing her. YOu all take care, and do somethings productive to encourage your new eating, and none eating habits.

Default COLD SUNDAY

Good Afternoon Ladies
Boy is it cold here. A couple of inches of snow on the ground. Went to church. But didnt stay for Sunday school. Son was complaining of his ear feeling plugged up. Wanted to go to the Dr's. So we went. Said his ear wasnt infected yet. But had alot of fluid in it. So gave him some med to take. Son and Hubby are taking naps right now. So thought I would get on here and see how everyone was doing.

Wendy Thanks for starting the new weigh in thread. Am going to need it. I know I couldnt control myself for one weekend. So I am not sure how I will do for a month. But my goal is to stay the same for Dec. I am not going to really try for a loss. But if I do lose that will be great. I am like you I want to get some more house cleaning done before I put up Christmas Decorations. I usually put my tree up on Thanksgiving or the weekend. But just have gotten around to it this year. I cant wait to read your tips. Have a great day.

Eleni Congrats on getting your decorating and shopping done. I havent even really started. I have gotten a few things made. But need to get some frames for them. My parents are the ones I am having a hard time trying to figure out what to get. Hope you can rest today. Have a great day.

Sherri How are you doing. Been missing you. Are you feeling better. Dont push getting back into the exercising. Take it easy and let yourself heal. You are doing great.

Well my treadmill messed up last night. May have to get another. The motor burned up a couple of wires. There is a address on the motor. Hubby said he would write them and see if they can tell him how to fix it or if it can be fixed. I told hubby if we have to get another treadmill. I am going to get one that doesnt have a motor. We havent had to much luck with the ones with motors. Hubby said they probably make them because they figure people wont use them. so they dont make them to last. I know we go this one at KMART. Cant remeber for sure when. But within the last 4 years. We paid around $190 for it. So it should have lasted a little longer than that. So we will see what happens. I do still have my bike. And the Areo Strider. Oh my I didnt realize I had wrote so much. I just started typing and thinking about everyone. Wondering how they are doing. That I lost track of time. And too. I am out of the kitchen. Not being tempted by food. That is one thing. I have to keep my hands and mind busy. Am thinking of everyone. Hoping that everyone takes time to relax and enjoy the holiday that is coming upon us. Have a great day.
A TOPS PAL
