Hope today finds us all having a good start to our weekend.
Today really needs to be a better start for me. I have not been doing well with food. There is 'stuff' going on around here and I'm just not doing well with the stress. The weird thing is that it is nothing I can really put a handle on.
I'm really looking forward to hearing how your SRD was Eleni and flgal. IRD will be here before I know it....even though it is 2 months away.
Must run.....but noticed no one had opened us up today. The coffee is on, so everyone grab a cup and let us know how you're doing!

Hey Summer, so sorry you are not having a good day. "Stuff" can do that to you. i hope that as the day and the weekend progresses, things will calm down, and your urge to eat will, too. I am having on ok day, but just ate a small piece of cake and ice cream left over my granddaughter's first birthday. she is not my biological granddaughter, but the daughter of one of my former foster girls. Had a birthday dinner for her last night. It is our family tradition that we fix for dinner what ever the birthday person wants. Well, Zavia can't talk yet, but her mother said she wanted spaghetti, and it was a hoot watching the baby eat it. she would put one strand of spaghetti in her mouth then suck it in. I am in a bit of a rush so will not write more now. Mary ann

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Not much going on here. I do need to get my exercise in. Havent' done that yet today. Am trying to keep busy so I dont eat. And so far so good. Would anyone mind if I would start a menu thread. Thought that may help me. Would anyone else be interested?
Summer Sorry you are having a bad time. Stress can really be something. Just remember stressed is just desserts spelled backwards. Maybe if you could go off by yourself and take a good book and your coffee or tea and read a little. Or if you do some type of craft. Maybe work on that. Or just go for a little walk. Thay may help. Do you have the Inspire to Lose book from TOPS. I do. That sometimes helps me. There are a few stories in there I didn't care too much about. Like the ones with the different personalities. Wasnt too sure about those. But for the most part I like the book. I know you will get back on track. You have been doing great.

Well I better get off here. Need to get somethings done around here. Have washed 2 loads of clothes so far. Have a couple more to do. I hung the jeans out. Thought they may partly dry. Was kinda cool here. But a little wind. Now it is starting to cloud up. We are suppose to be getting some rain. Just what we need. Boy has the grass been growing fast. Seems like right now you could mow a couple times a week. But I guess if we dont get the rain we wont have any May flowers. What is the saying April Showers bring May flowers. And I do enjoy the flowers. Everyone take care. I will check in later.
A TOPS PAL
Wow, I wish things would green up here! Everything is still dry and brown, with just little weeny patches of green to give us flatlanders hope! Some of the die hard farmers have seeded already, but no rain. Everyone is calling for a drought this year, I hope they are wrong.
Summer, I know what you mean about "stuff"! I am dealing with my own little pile of "stuff" right now and I am not the happiest camper on the planet. (Won't get into what "stuff" till I have it sorted out) Plus I seem to be entering the "must do something meaniful" phase of my year and have compounded my stress by being too busy. I signed up for the Relay for Life walkathon for cancer research. 7pm to 7am, (my freind Carol is a 2x cancer survivor, so any cancer related thing is dear to my heart) I also picked up more hrs at the Crisis center and work is getting hectic. Plus my friend Ellie is in town so I have to fit visiting with her in. (She is great company but VERY intense)
My eating is not the best and I am having trouble fitting in my training. I am getting everything done, but barely and it feels like I am going flat out all the time.
Totally my fault, but hey, no one can screw up my day like I can!
Well, that was very theraputic! Nothing like a good Saturday afternoon vent to cheer yourself up.
