Question Recipes?

Hi,

Since I am new to TOPS again. I need some suggestions for recipes.

I would love if some of you have the time to give me a hand on this.

Also I was wondering if the WW recipes have the same exchange values as we use in TOPS?

Thanks in advance.

Bev, did you see my sweetie pie recipe? If not, it is under Sherri's birthday thread. I have almost perfected a low fat sacher torte, but won't post it until it until my family can't tell it from the real thing.
I am following the Diabetic diet, very similar to the TOPS exchange program, I picked this diet because I can eat (within reason) anything I want. I chose to totally gave up hamburger in any form and stuff in my coffee, way to calorie/fat expensive, and much better choices out there.

Mentally, I think of food as a “nutritional opportunity” and this has helped me tremendously in picking the healthy over the unhealthy things out there.

What do you like to eat? I live on chicken, shrimp, salmon, tuna, steak, veggies and potatoes/pasta. Most of my desserts involve fruit, egg whites, angel food cake, low fat brownies, gingerbread, ultra low fat coolwhip, and diet pudding.
If you are looking for meal ideas:
My favorite dinner: Homemade bread and chicken barley soup and a salad.
Favorite Lunch: 12-grain bread, fat free turkey breast, sprouts, cucumber, mushroom and mustard sandwich
Favorite snack: Cheerio snack mix and craisins or a banana cut into dimes and a blob of Chocolate syrup
Chocolate fix:York peppermint bites or half an Aerobar.
My Best Bets eating out are; French onion soup, chicken Caesar salad (dressing on the side), steak sandwich, and beef dip sandwich, Subway low fat subs, McDonald's Chicken grill no Mayo (I pop a yogurt into my purse if we do the McD's thing, 2 chicken grills is too much and 1 is not enough)
Well, that is all I can think of, off the top of my head. Hope it helps, since we are doing basically the same thing let me know what sort of stuff you are looking for and if I have anything I will post it.

Default Recipes

Hi,

I eat most food. The only things I really don't like are tofu and stuff like that.

I generally don't eat a lot of dessert, but of course since I am cutting back I am getting those darn cravings. Haven't indulged though, except for fruit.

Any recipes that you want to share with me I would love to have.

I am going now to check for the Sweetie Pie recipe.

Default Sweetie Pie

CC,

I just got a chance to go and look for that recipe.

MMMMMMMM, it sure looks good.

I will have to give it a try. It looks almost sinful.
