  • Hello, ladies, just a quick one to let you know we had a great holiday. Stan is walking with his walker and prosthesis, although only a few hours at a time...most of that is to be spent sitting. He will be going to rehab for awhile to get his walk straightened out and learn how to go up and down stairs, etc.
  • Good Afternoon, Flowers! It's been a foggy/misty/gloomy day in my corner of the world. So far it isn't freezing, but if it does it will be a slippery mess. School was pretty quiet today . . . I hope it's not the lull before the storm.

"Gma" -- Thanks for the felting explanation! Boy, you can tell I was way off base on that one. But then I am not a knitter unless it is something square or rectangle! It sounds like the new baby will have lots of stuff before the shower takes place. Babies are exciting for sure. One of our teachers left school today and I am assuming is in the hospital right now. She is HUGE and her due date was the first part of December. I'm sure you will have a great time at the Red Hat luncheon. It sounds like fun!

Susan -- Glad to hear that you had a nice holiday and that Stan is doing so well.

Hope you all have a relaxing evening. I need to warm up some left-overs for supper. I made this GROSS casserole yesterday and sent most of it home with Jason because he thought it was good. Yuck!

    Jean -- from Iowa!
  • HOWDY MAGNOLIAS It has been raining today, which we needed so I am not complaining. Coming home from town we saw the most beautiful rainbow. I love to see them. Once when we were in Casper WY in a parking lot the rainbow ended right on the ground by my car door. When I got out I was in the rainbow. People watching were oooing and awwwing ~ I'll never forget that.

SUSAN It will all work out with you husbands prothesis. The going may be slow but don't get impatient for he will be walking around in no time.

JEAN So you made a yuckey casserole but Jason liked it. Now that just shows you there is no accounting for some folks taste. Weather man is saying we may get some snow here.... may is the operative word.

FAYE That purse looks real nice! Yep, felting sure can shrink things up ~ I remember a sweater . . .

Well ~ got comany gotta go. Type at ya'll later.
