What are you Thankful for Today?
 

We had this thread a while back and I thought I would start another if you ladies don't mind. All ya gotta do is answer/list what you are thankful for today. You can put one thing or 2 or how ever many things you want to put that you are thankful for today. I'll start...

TODAY I am thankful for:

1) E-mail and the internet...my only connection to Josh overseas right now.

2) my DH who works so hard for his family.

3) for Jason, Carrie and Ernie dog as well...my lifeline.

4) my friends here at 3fc-thank you! :hug:

Great idea...I've been wanting to bring this back!!


1: For a loving and understanding husband who will help me get the proper nutrition and exercise to lower all my high blood results.

2: Jhanai being who she is. She's such a wonderful girl who I look at and think "Wasn't she just a little toddler a little while ago?"

3: My dogs. They keep me company every night I'm home alone. (which is often!) They'll follow me EVERYWHERE! Love those two spoiled pups!

.... not necessarily in that order ;)

my dogs
my job--even though I am stressed at least I have one
my family

As always, I'm thankful for my family and friends, including my 3fc friends.

Today I'm thankful for a fire in the fireplace to take the chill off this beautiful fall day. :)

Friends to listen to my whining here at 3fc

Fresh, clean water to drink (maybe if I think of it as a blessing, I will get back to drinking more)

If my dd does end up in the new apartment-I am thankful that it is one that doesn't need paint and fixing--and if she doesn't get the new apartment I will be thankful to have her back home--we tried getting her back their when the ex first left

-The support from my friends here at 3FC, who are so understanding with me being so down during this hard time of losing my mom.

-My DH and 2 DDs who are very supportive of me, and my DH working so hard to support us so that I do not have to work right now.

I thank God every nite for my terrific, most loving husband; my children and their spouses (they did good!); and my 12 grandchildren, who are a blessing from God.

I am thankful today for:

1. A good report from the pulmonary specialist...

2. A good job for my grown DGS...

3. A good family...

4. A good support group right here at 3fcs...

Today I am thankful for...

...quality time with my kids
...the sun shiny day :sunny:
...diet coke
...my soldier son (even though he worrying me to death)
...tylenol arthritis

Me, I am thankful today....

...that the rain is going to stop tomorrow
...that the sun WILL shine again
...that I don't have to learn to build a boat

Today? my windbreaker, peanut butter and calf raises.

The sun Did come out, for which I am thankful.

My 17 year old son who took his first steps in August of this year after many life long surgeries including 10 this summer

My 12 year old son with aspergers who makes me laugh every single day :-)

My very patient husband who support me and his step-children unconditionally

Running shoes
And that I only work part-time so I can have an afternoon nap if I want!

I can always use an "I am thankful for ..." thread!

I'm thankful for ...

... the fact that I only regained 20 of the 70 I lost, before I shifted back into a productive-eating mode.
... my DS, who is sixteen, healthy, happy and wise.
... that both of my parents and all of my siblings are alive and healthy, even though I'm not that close to my dad.
... that I brought lunch to work today and found it satisfying (instead of leaving the 'rabbit food' behind and grabbing some fried cholesterol from the grill)

...my fluffy dog after his bubble bath
...GSN (game show network, lol-love my games)
