I find I actually feel much better during the day when I excercise in the mornings, it seems to wake me up for the day. :carrot:

I think that's what I'm going to do too, start waking up earlier to get a bit of exercise in.. maybe a little Turbo Jam first thing in the a.m will get my day started. I noticed that when I woke up early yesterday it was way easier than I thought.. i'm glad I did it!! :carrot:

I am no where near my twenties, pushing 45 but I just wanted to encourage you all so much. I have been overweight all my life and have just really gotten obese in the last 20 years. I just feel like I have wasted so much of my life being sick and tired of being fat but not doing anything about it. Please get in control now so that you can live the wonderful life you were ment to live.

day 3: challenge

Ok day 3, and im feeling good!! :carrot:

I think im going to wait for as long as possible to weigh, I will see if I can leave it for at least 10 days, just so I can see more of a result, and hopefully get more motivated.

2 slices brown toast + scraping marmite
handful yoghurt coated raisens
peking duck in a wrap ( no skin on duck and lots of salad in it)

Plan on having crab cakes for dinner.

Going swimming tonight also.

Have a good day everyone. How is everyone else doing in their challenges?!

Hi everyone, I'm still fairly new to the 3fc site. I am 28 years old, full-time student, and I've been overweight since I was a teenager. I also have over 100 lbs to lose. For exercise I am doing the Yourself Fitness software program in addition to belly dance classes that I take once a week. I still don't have a formal eating plan. I've just been trying to eat healthier foods, incorporate more fruits and vegetables, etc. I want to start participating in the discussions on this site because I believe it will help me stick with my commitments.

Thanks megan and bep :) We are all pretty close in the stats!

day 4: and all is well

Ok so how is everyone else doing on their 21 challenge?! :^: come on share!!!

Im feeling pretty good, i was in a bar last night with my friends ( drinking diet coke by the way!) and I was sat there, and I was thinking, i feel so healthy! And i did, especially looking at my slightly drunk friends !!

I am going swimming tonight, so that will be three times in four days, so Im pretty pleased with that. Im not going to weigh in until day 10 i dont reckon, thats if i can hold off that long!!!

For a scary moment earlier i didnt think i could find this forum, phew! Found it with some help though!!

Weddingin2007 07-27-2006 06:22 PM

Good job Piggin! Last time I drank water at the bar, and I was asked 3 times if I was pregnant or something... It takes willpower to not drink some delectable coctails for sure! You did great!

I haven't been doing it for 21 days, just recently started on the boards, but for my 3rd day on the boards, I feel pretty good. I am counting calories like I need too, and so far for the week show a deficit, which means weight loss... WOOOOHOOO! :carrot:

Don't know how much until next week, but it better be a full pound!

Megan2006 07-28-2006 07:33 AM

Good Morning Ladies! How's everyone doing today??
My Challenge is going pretty good, although tonight I have a retirement party to attend and it's gonna be real hard watching what I eat. I can do it though!!! :carrot:
I've been drinking all my water (and living in the bathroom *lol*)
Just need to get more exercise in..

ktruley 07-28-2006 12:18 PM

Wish I would have found you guys earlier!! I'm 22, with about 100 pounds to lose, though I don't want to look frighteningly scary so I might only want to lose 80... *sigh* It's all about exercise, but lately all I've wanted to do is sleep. I think I'm just mentally worn out... so yeah... cheers to all of us out there trying and losing and in turn... winning!! :)

pigginpodgey 07-28-2006 04:16 PM

welcome ktruley!

Welcome ktruley!! This forum is really good, and Im sure you will find all the support fantastic! :carrot: I think it helps us all being a similar age, because i think we might have different problems, mine is trying to balance a social life with being healthy - unforunately they dont seem to mix very well, but im doing my best!!

Lets go on shaking off those pounds!!! :carrot:
