Hello ladies
Sorry Susan...just a busy morning. I've been trying to get things done before getting on the computer. Now next week, I'm not even sure how much time I will spend here if any at all. I'll figure something out. V is home for a week...for some reason they changed shut down from the normal two weeks to one week, which is fine with me. I love my husband, but don't want him home all the time, lol. Anyway, we are going to start the pergola Saturday...he's building and I'm helping if he needs any, and, I am staining all the wood before it goes up. Figured it would be easier than doing it when it's done...me and ladders don't go together. Actually kind of excited about that, except that it is supposed to be in the high 90's, ick! Anyway...woke up early this morning and rather than toss and turn and try to go back to sleep I got up. Watered the front yard, made the bed, vacuumed, started a load of clothes, walked two miles on the treadmill and then headed to It Figures. Came home and took Ernie dog to the park for a walk, had a tuna sandwich and here I am. I got a lot done yesterday too...trying to keep the house clean again like I did when we had it for sale.
JULES...I had to go back and see what the heck I said...didn't even remember saying anything about bright colors

I swear I am losing my mind. The colors sound nice and, I have seen a lime kitchen before and have to say it didn't look bad at all. I wouldn't have one myself, but it looked nice. And
THANK YOU for the link. Took a quick look at it and wrote down the site to go back. Tried to access the one place and it was soooo slow...so definitely will go back.
MICHELLE...hopefully it cools down soon so you can get back to your walking. I too don't do good in the heat...can't take it, me and my fair skin. I remember going through Needles, CA once and the temp was 122 at noon. We had to stop at a motel for the night, it was just too hot and we all were tired. Had to drive with the windows down for fear the air would overheat the car. Anyway, the guy at the desk told DH to take me to the room and keep me there because it looked like I wasn't looking too good and he was afraid I was going to be sick in this heat. He was right...my face gets really red when I get too hot. And 122 in the desert, ick! I think the kids always do better than us and can take more.
SHAWNA...good that you found out what is wrong and it is nothing serious. Try to take it easy if you can...know that is easier said than done with being a manager and moving! WTG on your volleyball games, woohoo!
SHEL...good to see you back, we missed you. Thought maybe we scared you off, lol! Sorry you were feeling low and blue.

We are here for you though if you ever want to talk.
BEP...again your dinner sounded good. I am dragging out my cookbooks to make different things. Get so tired of the same old stuff week after week. I go through phases though where I like to try new things and then get tired of cooking. I have been cooking since I was a teenager and some times I just want a break from it all. WTG on your workout. Sounded like me yesterday, busy, busy, busy. Late evening DH mowed the back yard and I told him I would mow the front so ended the day with more exercise.
MS SUSAN...what the heck is Doug's problem? I think you are handling him well though, considering. I know it's hard because you guys have to come together for the kids, so you just hang in there. It will get better...it has too. Hope nothing is seriously wrong with your car, I know that is the last thing you need right now. What the heck is a chonga bagel? Glad you got in for the arts and crafts at the camp...that sounds like loads of fun and a nice little get away.
HI to everyone else
Probably should go get that load of clothes out of the dryer and get it folded and put away. Other than that nothing new here. Chat with you ladies later.
Take care and have a good day!
