So far so good for me today. I'm home from work though and evenings are **** for me when It comes to mindless grazing. :moo:

Maybe I should just keep repeating to myself: Not unless I'm hungry and then only water. :dust:

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind if I post here. I am 34 and have about 30 lbs to lose. I have a really hard time sticking with it. I did start on Monday but the first of the week didn't go so well so I jumped back on the wagon today. So far so good. My evenings are the worst.

So far so Good

It's Thursday at 7:00 pm and so far so good. I had a ham sandwich for lunch with salad, watermelon for a snack and just had a boneless breast of chicken with 1 cup of rice and tons of stir fried veggies on top! Tasted good but my stomach still wants more  . Haven't made time for exercise today but tomorrow morning I am golfing - that's 18 holes of walking and swinging - should earn me some activity points! Oh forgot to mention that i rejoined WW last week so keep your fingers crossed that I can stay on points and get activity points as well!

Currently, I'm just under 1,000 calories. I'm almost tempted not to eat anything else today. I know I'm going to the movies tomorrow so I could try and save the cals. When I go to the movies, I always get a meduim popcorn, diet coke, and something chocolaty. I guess I'm buying some low-fat chocolate before hitting the concession stand for a small popcorn.
So far I've done well at sticking to my calorie goal. Exercise-wise I haven't popped in a video since Tuesday. Yesterday, I spent an hour in the garden watering and pulling veggies. Today, I'm doing a major spring cleaning of my bedroom. Everything comes out except heavy furniture.

Let's think of some challenges to keep things interesting.

-- 64 oz. of water
-- 2 hours exercise/week
-- 10 miles walking/jogging/biking by June 1

Any suggestions? Which should we do first?

LindaB763 05-25-2006 10:50 PM

Well, I weighed in tonight and just about fell off the scales!! It was a very good weigh-in. I lost 4.4 pounds. So that makes 31.8 pounds so far! I don't know what I did this past week but I need to do it again!

cybersis 05-26-2006 06:26 AM

Great job Linda! You will have to tell us your secret for having a great week! So far I have managed to keep away from the evil night time munchies! Can't say that I haven't gone to bed hungry but sometimes I think my hunger is just telling me I am bored. What with Idol over, and America's next top model over and the Amazing Race over, I just don't know what to do with my night time viewing. I love the idea of a challenge, being the competitive person that I am. An exercise challenge would fit the bill for me since drinking water is not a problem because that is the only beverage I do drink. Water and one cup of coffee a day. All those in favour put up your cyber hand and away we go. Have a great Friday girls and guys!

Another pound down for me :), I sed i wouldnt go on the scales for at least two weeks, but hey nevermind just 14lbs left to go before i hit my target weight and ive got just over a month to do it in.
Any challenge i think would be great, everyone else decided coz im easy. :)

Yikes, I am having a bad eating day and it's only 9AM. Must.Be.Good.The.Rest.Of.The.Day.

KKitty, love that willpower dust! :cp:

LindaB763 05-26-2006 10:09 AM

Whatcha think??

Don't ask me how because I'm still in shock! :D Whatever I did, I want to do again and again until these last 33 pounds drop off.

I kinda have a theory and y'all let me know if maybe you've found this to be true. Usually I eat the WW muffins for breakfast and frozen meals for lunch and "regular" food for dinner. Last week I ate more regular food (oatmeal, grilled meats, salads, veggies) than the other. Do you think that might have been the difference? Just a thought. I might be totally so far off of it! :?: Who knows!

The closer you get to your goal weight the harder its seems to get it off and you may just have to exercise alittle more.

What a wonderful ray of sunshine you are :flow2:
You know I never really looked at it that way. I just kept seeing other members losing 20-40 lbs. in a few months, and I it is just moving along slowly for me. Maybe I will have a good chance at keeping it off for good this time.

That is fine that you told the newbie WW about me. I am sure we both can use each others support.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone!!!!!

I am really stressing today. I am wanting to eat everyting in the house!:corn: :m: :cookie: Husbands home (4 day weekend) Relatives are showing up left and right :fr: and everyone is trying to plan my day.:tantrum:

Okay, take a deep breath, remember potato, you can have whatever you want tonight!! Your reward meal is just a few hours away :whoo:

Okay I feel better. I just needed a moment to regroup.:yoga:

Oh my gosh!! The Grand kids just arrived!!:yikes:

KKitty 05-26-2006 06:45 PM

I learned something new about myself today. To keep my blood sugars down in the morning, I'm actually having to reverse my meals eating Breakfast in the evening and more veggies and proteins in the morning instead of the usual whole grain cereals.

Today was my first day doing this and I actually had more energy at work!!!!

Did great not overeating yesterday. Here's to day two of many more!!!!
