Kemp, I hate bugs too. We have stray cats that keep bringing fleas into my cellar. They get under the house, and then before we know it, it's flea infestation. I'll be praying for an inexpesive, good quality company to handle the problem for you.

jbbm, busy it good. I imagine that's what happens to all those silly people who say "Oh, I forgot to eat today." I never really could understand that phrase. lol.

Noelle, I'm here having a hard time typing cause I'm trying to clap and dance with cheer for your wt. loss. The first time I worked for Wt. watchers, I started the interview process as soon as I reached my goal. The second time, I wasn't quite at my goal before I started training, which was extremely intense. Anyway, I can relate about not being comfortable with your leader. Is there another time or place near by that you can get to? I drive about 30 miles to go to a meeting with a leader that I really enjoy. Oh, don't get me wrong. I love the leader in my town as a person, but as a leader, she's not all that and a bag of chips too. Oppps, sorry. Didn't mean to bring up food.

Anyway, ya'll have a great night.

Hey all,

Well another day down, I really cant believe we are now into May. Man this year is just flying!!

Queensland is prlific with termites so I can soooooooo empathise with your dilemma. We have to get the place treated every year, grrrr damm expensive experience.

:bravo: wohoooooo noelle WELL DONE. I hope I am as sucessful.

As I have started this detox thingy & it goes for 10 days I am thinking I might hold off on the weigh in till its totally completed. Usually I do it every few days on this & well kinda get to the stage where I think I am doing so well I can just have some of this or that if you know what I mean.:dizzy:

did the walk thing again this am, I look at what some of you guys do & think man, mine is a max 30 mins, no wonder you all are poles up on me!

Anyway best get the kids organised its arsnic hour here & for some reason its kicked up a gear tonight!!!

Catch up tomorrow folks. :)

Kempyd 05-03-2006 12:41 PM

STUPID WATER WEIGHT!!!! I wish that my meetings didn't fall right whe I was about to start. I thought I was doing pretty good even though I was going to be starting but it didn't work this time. Oh well, I will give it another go even though I am down in the dumps right now.

CW the termite guy was really high so I have another one coming today to give me a price. I just can spend $1350 on a house that we will not be living in forever. Plus, they want $200 a year for insurance. Silly, huh?

Maggz I am still trying to bump up my exercise so I am still with you on doing just a little a day. It is getting so hot I either have to get up really early or walk really late so that I don't pass out. :D

I don't have much to post right now. i need to go put the groceries away. I'll check back later.

melekalikimaka 05-03-2006 03:59 PM

Oh man, I had a nice long-winded post but it got eaten, I'm so mad :tantrum: I can't even begin to start it again. I'll be back later when I get my patience back.

Have a nice day everyone and thanks for the cheers!

melekalikimaka 05-04-2006 01:10 AM

Woo-Hoo I got two walks in today...i am beat! But on the downside I ate a little too much junk (think Chocolate Easter bunny and 4 pt. raisin bread with i.c.b.i.n.b. butter spread, not together of course). I am such a darn carb addict, once i get started with the bread I just want to keep eating it. But I think I logged around 6 miles today so that should counteract some of the damage I did.

Kempy, hang in there, I KNOW you will show a good loss next week. It's warming up here as well, but the tradewinds are blowing so it's not humid yet.

Maggzs, we had a tsunami warning scare early this morning with the earthquake in Tonga. I heard on the news that NZ may have been affected (with the tsunami warning), I just wondered if Australia would've been warned as well. Sorry, I'm not any good at geography. Luckily, the warning was canceled. Good luck with the detox! I totally know what you mean about doing good on a plan and then feeling like you 'deserve' to give yourself a treat .

cw, I love my current WW leader. We have had substitutes in the past and no one compares to her. She has the best food tips, recipes, and has the most food finds ever. I think my problem with the "guy", is that he is part of our meeting group, and I am uncomfortable with him being privy to my file--inside I'm still embarrassed by what I weighed and what I weigh now...I know, it's silly since I'm here and posting it on the internet for all to see . I'll get over it I'm sure. I'm glad you're posting with us as Kempy, Cal and I could probably get some good WW tips from you.

Anywho, I think I'll hit the shower and get ready to watch American Idol, even thought I cheated and peeked online to see who got voted off already. Hi to Julie, Angie, Dips, Cherie, Cal, Red and anyone I may have missed. have a great evening, chat more tomorrow.

Kempyd 05-04-2006 09:42 AM

Hey guys. I am just sitting here waiting for one of Echo's babies to come back to her momma. One of the poeple that got her is getting a divorce and they can't keep her. I feel better knowing that she will be here. I just hop she is goog. I have no idea what they have trained her to do or how she is going to act. I thought I was ready but now that I sit her I am getting kind of nervous. I hope Echo and Rhea are ok with this, not like they have any choice in the matter.

Noelle I had a regular size bar 3 muskateer last night. i am right there with ya on the bad food. I did get 4 Ep's so I used that and I cut back during the day. i planned for that candy so I hope I didn't kill myself too much. Did you notice my new ticker? I set my final goal for WW yesterday. I personally want to get to 149 but I figured I could set my goal now and then I can get my goal charm. :D

I'll check back later.

melekalikimaka 05-04-2006 11:49 AM

Good morning ladies.

Kempy, I'm glad you get the pup back, but it's a little sad because of the circumstance. I wonder if Rhea and Echo will welcome the pup back too. Hey, I like the ticker! You're so close! That's awesome! I'm a little jealous, but so happy for you  Gosh, I can't imagine what it would feel like to weigh even 150 again :chin:. I guess I wil have to wait and be patient ;)

Well, gotta get ready for work. Have a good one gals, hope to see more posts later.

cwneeds2lose 05-04-2006 12:35 PM

Hi everyone. I hope everyone is having a great day.

Noelle, I love carbs too, but that will have to be a habit for another week. At least you got in the really good walk. I'm sure it'll work out evenly. As far as the guy leader, everything is confidential. I know, I don't like the idea of a guy weighing me, even though they've had the same weight struggles. Well, not exactly the same. How can a guy understand "our monthly friend" weight gain as an excuse at the scale.

Kemp--:carrot:  on being so close to goal. I still have my key ring, but my charms fell apart. I'll just have to get new ones when I get back to goal. Anyway, I love the ring and charms. They can be a good reminder.

Hi to everyone else, and have a blessed day.:D

maggzs 05-04-2006 06:47 PM

Morning All,

No Noelle we didnt get the Tsunami warning here in Oz but I was aware of it being declared for HAwaii & I thought of you there. NZ is geographically not all that far away so it must have been estimated to hit on the 'other' side of NZ for us not to get a warning here. Mind you our Govt is pretty sloppy on the warning front, particularly on terrorist warnings o/s etc so in reality we could well be 5 mins from going under before they say oops we're in trouble!! haha. Glad to see though it all amounted to nothing in the end.

Hey Kemp you are so close girl Well Done!!! I live in hope at the moment. Detox is going resonably well, no extra snackys or anything but hubby has been cooking dinners so they have not exactly been the best point conscious meals.... lots of melted cheese & that I just cant pass up. bad girl. bad girl. That & like you Noelle, bread gets me to... I love it.

Anyway best work now,

Will post again later,
Bye all.

Hi Girls

2nd day of being totally OP. It is after 9 p.m. and I am hungry but I'll make it till tomorrow. I am to tired to eat right now anyway, lol. Today dd had her kindergarten orientation. Gosh I can not believe she will be starting in the fall. Then both kids will be gone all day. I think I will be totally lost. I know alot of people love it when there kids go to school but I miss mine. She is so excited though. I think she would have started today. I hope I can keep up my good eating here. I am trying to include more protein here and there. Like cottage cheese.

Keep up the great work girls. I believe in you all!

ps. Noelle I have to brag a little bit about my son, I hope you don't mind but I am proud....tonight at TKD they had to break a board and he was the only one who broke one. He was with 10 year olds and yellow belts. Yeah! My little guy.
Okay time to get ready to fall into bed, LOL. Hi everyone!

Kempyd 05-05-2006 09:47 AM

Happy Cinco de Miyo!! Well, I am almost gone of all vacation weight. I still have .5lbs to go. Man this is taking forever. It is going to be hard this weekend though. We are going to a local Mexican resturant tonight and I am sure I will not eat the greatest. Then, tomorrow I am having a jewelry party and of course the food I am having is not WW friendly. So, I guess I will have to start over again on Monday. I am going to try my hardest to have small portions so we will see.

Maggz that is why I love WW. I don't have to cut out anything. You are way stronger than I am if you are able to do a detox. I usually freak out and binge when I do stuff like that.

CW I don't carry around the ketchain. I sit it right next to my phone in the kitchen and I see it every day. I have a picture from when I weighed what I am trying to get to know so that is what I look at often. Of course I was around 24 so it wasn't so hard then. Crap, if I knew then what I know now I would have stopped eating. :D

Noelle the puppies is doing ok. She is still kind of upset and barks about it but she is still happy. Last night I put them in the garage to sleep and when I turned off the light she started to bark. I think she may have been afraid of the dark. It was kind of cute though b/c that is where she first started all of her barking. She really wants to be inside with me though. She runs throught the door every chance she gets and I have to drag her out. I hope her momma makes up her mind about what she is going to do with her. I hate the fact that she is going to get used to being here and then we let another family take her.

Well, I need to start cleaning this mess hole. I'll be back later.

melekalikimaka 05-05-2006 02:41 PM

Good morning ladies. It's been raining up a storm since early this morning, but looks like it's about ready to let up. Maybe I'll head out for a walk with my :rain:.

Julie, good job on sticking OP! :cp: I know it's hard, but once you get the ball rolling, it's easier to keep going isn't it? You'll be ready for that bikini come summer ;) . You should be proud of your DS, breaking a board is not easy. Good for him! and with the higher ranking belts too, great job! Michael just started training with the sai (you know that 3 pronged fork looking thing like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles carry? ) and he already ripped a hole in his gi top. I'm just glad he didn't poke himself in the gut. Sometimes I can't watch them train because i don't want to witness him getting injured, I'm such a wimp! Gosh, i can't believe your DD is going to kindergarten already. They grow SO fast.

Kempy, happy Cinco de Mayo back at ya! :hat: Have a margarita for me, no salt please  Girl, I carry my 10% keychain with me and I hang on to that thing for dear life sometimes  it reminds me how hard i've worked and why I shouldn't be ordering the triple bacon cheeseburger :ink:

Maggzs, you and Julie both with the melted cheese  Julie lives in WI, cheese-heads they call them in Green Bay ;), right Julie?

Hello to everyone, have a great day. :sunny:

melekalikimaka 05-05-2006 07:22 PM

Hey guys, me again. Just checking in to keep myself in check. Today I've been OP so far :crossed:. Crunchy corn bran cereal w/ff vanilla soy milk (2 pts) for breakfast, then a Subway Sub Club for lunch w/baked Lays. I did get my walk in this morning, just in time too because it started raining again right after I got home. Then my manicurist called to see if I wanted to come in today instead of tomorrow, so I said sure. I got myself a mani & pedicure so I'm all gorgeous again   So I'm all set for the weekend.

Anywho, we may go to see Akeelah and the Bee tonight. Other than that, what's shakin' with everbody else? Partying it up for Cinco de Mayo?

ps. Yet another reason why I love 3FC, check out these new smilies: :boxing: :preg: :kickbutt: funny!

jbbm 05-05-2006 07:44 PM

Hi Girls

Kempy have fun this weekend and out to eat tonight. I am sure if you sample here and there you will be just fine. And you got the right idea about getting right back to it on Monday.

Thanks Noelle, I don't think I could watch training with a sai either. Thats scary. Michael sounds like he is coming along great. Glad you got your walk in and your eats for today sound right on track. Mine could have been better but could have been worse ;). Have a great weekend gorgeous:)

Maggzs, yup Noelle is right I am addicted to cheese! haha...

Well girls I think I may go rest my legs, they are sore from my workout yesterday. You know the front of the thighs sore....ouch:D but that is good it means they are working. Hi everyone else.

LadyTyger 05-05-2006 11:43 PM

Hello ladies!

I hope you don't mind having another new face around here. Noelle saw my cry for help in the buddy-up forum, and pointed me in this direction!

I've been reading the posts on the thread for this month, and read all your mini-intros to cw. It's nice to meet you all.

I'm a 27 yr old, married for nearly 6 years. No kids (yet), but I'm sure hoping for some soon. I had been steadily gaining for about 6 or 7 years until 3 years ago, when I lost 55 lbs. I've gained back 60 lbs *sigh* I guess I have to start all over again. I live in Alberta, Canada. I am currently unemployed. Having a "mid-20's" identity crisis or something of the sort, I guess. Have some things I need to work through.

I was lucky enough to fulfill a lifelong dream last summer, and became a proud horse-owner. I've been riding at least once a week since then. I'd sure like to lose the 100 lbs I need to, would make Midnight's job of lugging me around the arena a lot easier. LOL
