Happy Tuesday guys! We have only 10 more days until vacation. :cp: I am going to look for a new bathing suit in the morning and I am not really that happy about it. I should be happy that I need to buy a new one but they are never fun to try on. I need to find something dressy for 2 nights at dinner. I guess I just basically have to find some clothes that fit me now. (a little yeah for me!)

Red you have just got to get out of there. That place sounds like it is toxic for you. Is there some reason that you are staying? Have you looked to see if you can do your job in another country? I just want to fly over there and scoop you up and take you somewhere else. You have just got to take the steps and better yourself. Sorry if this sounds like I am preaching but you are my friend and I don't like my friends to hurt.

Angie god for you girl. See, I knew you could get back into the swing of things. I am not doing as great as Noelle but I am not giving up. I swear I want to a few times but I stick to it. I don't think I will have lost 20 in 10 days but I will take a strong loss of 17 for then. That is funny about your umbrella. I leave mine open all year since we don't get snow I don't worry about it breaking.

What is everyone else up to today? I am home now and I am about to walk the dogs.

Hey guys, I just got back from walking the dog. It is so nice today, sunny and breezy, with maybe just a little sprinkle of rain. Now that's more like it for Hawaii weather. :cb: I am a little scared of weighing in today, but I am going to do it anyway. Will update the results later on today. Dammit! I am trying to trap this young black cat that keeps coming around and beating up on my 12 y.o. Molly. I think he's from next door (the uncontrollable breeders :rolleyes: ) and he's starving so he's trying to set up house over here. The other cat Leper keeps eating the bait--twice already! It's just like the last time I tried to trap that orange tom, Leper got trapped 5x at least, the little rat. I guess I'll have to tie down the bait this time.

Angie, great job girl, yeah you're back on the rails. I hope Daisy feels better soon, but it's sweet that she's all cuddly with you. What's for dinner today? I am craving some kind of seafood stir fry :hun:

Kempy, woo-hoo a bathing suit! :P But hey, at least you get to buy a smaller size! 17 lbs is nothing to sneeze at lady, you're doing great too.

Red, I'm with the others, you gotta get out of that place. I know you do one helluva job there though, but the cost of living is exorbitant isn't it? How 'bout you move to Hawaii? You could make a good living in the tourist industry since you can speak Japanese, and the cost of living here may be just tad cheaper than Japan... just a tad.

:halffull: Back from my weigh-in and I they recorded me as a maintain--even though the scale showed a .2 (that's point-two) gain :rolleyes:. I was really expecting it to be worse so I am okay with that. I just have to work at staying on plan this week and the week after.....etc. I will be true to myself though, and change my ticker for that sneaky little .2 that's hanging on to my behind. :tantrum:

Hmmm, I wonder how many pounds I could lose by cutting of my hair :lol:

That is funny. I have thought the same thing. I don't have thick hair though so I might not count for enough.

I wanted to say that Saturday night we ordered pizza and it was so good. That is until the next morning when my tummy said that is didn't like it anymore. I havn't had pizza since I started WW in Jan so I guess it was just too rich for me. That sucks too b/c it was so good. I guess my body is liking this healthy food thing more than I thought.

I feel like its been such a long time since I have been online. Work has been hectic what with out all last week & preparation for holidays next week. :cool: Sometimes the going takes more organising then its worth! however right now I am feeling so drained that I just cant wait for this week to end.

Thanks Red for your words of wisdom. :flow1: They do ring true however with this particular staff member there is a bit of an element of psych/social issues at play & that complicates issues somewhat.:spin: She just does not seem to have a great idea of work ethics & will call at all hours of the evening or weekend (I have a work mobile) to stress about issues etc but not only me all the staff she calls. Just an idea of the probs. I have organised a meeting with my manager, her & myself for Frid in order to hopefully outline correct protocl etc. Hopefully this will work. Weather wise its right back to summer, I think the message hasnt gotten through upstairs that we are now in Autum. We were 36 degrees yesterday AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH :hot:

Food wise... I have just not been motivated or on the ball :cry: & am figuring that will be the case until I get back from holidays now but I know if I keep you all in my thoughts It will keep me in some way grounded & not make it so hard to come back ...again!

I was wondering Noelle, is it common to have as much rain as you have been having? I never figured HAwaii for such a wet place.

Good Morning! Well, it snowed last night. YUCK!! :lol: Just a dusting but it is still gross to look at considering it was so warm all last week. The dogs arent too impressed either. :lol:

Kempy, I hope you guys have fun on your cruise. I agree with you too, I dont like clothes shopping either. I bought small jeans the first time I got down to 130 pounds and I still have them so the last time I got to goal I just wore them. :lol:

Noelle, Any luck catching the cat? I bet you would lose some if you cut your hair. :lol: I am trying to grow mine back out because Jay and the kids keep saying they liked it better long. I will at least grow it out until I hit goal and then I will decide if I want it short again. My hair is such a PITA though because it is really thick and wavy so it tangles easy. :lol:

Well I am back from an uneventful shopping trip. I found a bathing suit but I am not totally in love with it. I needed it though so I bought it. I am still looking for one more outfit to wear at one of the dinners. I found a skirt and top but I am not certain if it is dressy enough. I will have to bring it to my neighbors and have her tell me what she thinks. I am not a really dressy person so I think it is dressy enough. I just don't want to be underdressed. Why is it when you have some place to go and the funds to buy things you can never find anything. AUGH!

I am not certain if this is a scale loss but acording to my scale I am down. But, it is still the same total as WW. So, I guess i am still the same. So, three weeks at the same weight. I guess I should be happy I didn't gain. We did have company in too.

Magg do you get much rain down there? We are in a drought right now. For some reason all of the rain is staying in the northern part of the state. I hope it rains soon though, rain water is so much better for my plants.

Anige i have a few pairs of skinny jeans but I think they are out of style. I am not going to get rid of them. I am just kind of in between by fat and skinny clothes. It is really frustrating. I don't want to spend the money on new stuff yet. So, I end up wear the same things over and over.

I need to get the hosue in order. We have another friend coming in and the house has dog hair all over it.

Hey ladies, I am home doing laundry today, I will take advantage of hanging clothes on the line outside in the SUN! :sunny: I know I will be complaining soon that it's too hot, but I have had enough rain to last me a while. Maggzs, to answer your question about the rain, no, it is not normal for us to get so much. The rainy weather these past few weeks has broken records for us, 40 days straight across the island it was raining somewhere, and it was lots of rain, like thunderstorms and lightning kind of rain. It was fun while it lasted but it disrupted a lot of stuff. And the potholes on the roads are huge craters now. The city has a lot of patching to do. I did not go for a walk this morning (and Lucky is looking at me with sad puppy dog eyes), but I will go this afternoon when it cools down.

Kempy, that 'money in your pockets and finding nothing to buy' is Murphys law. :lol: Glad you found a bathing suit. I have two sport tankini type suits, one too big, the other just a tad too small. I don't worry about it though, I try to avoid the beach and the sun. :lol:

Angie, nope, no luck catching the cat. Something's wrong with the catch on the trap. It seems to be sticking so when the cat steps on the plate inside, it doesn't release the door...I have to figure it out. In the meantime, all the other cats are being sassy and sleeping on top of the trap :rolleyes:

Just a quick note to say hello to everyone. We have the federal-mandated testing starting next week and so we've been busy preparing for that. I'm so tired and the kids are starting to show it as well. Of course, yesterday they had energy and some to spare. They paid for it today. :devil:
I'm a bit sore right now; I had a root canal this afternoon...went well, but I can't open my mouth very wide...should be an interesting day tomorrow; guess I'll have to give a pop quiz or somethin. :D
Our trip is getting closer. We're starting to get the vouchers for the car, train tickets, and museum passes. It is nice knowing that most everything is now paid for. We also got the tickets for Disneyland Paris in the mail yesterday. It is so hard keeping that secret from Ashley. I really want to tell her, but I want even more to surprise her later.

Maggzs: 36 degrees!!! My gosh that's hot. We won't see those types of temps for at least another month. Of course, during summer we see temps over 45 for several weeks.

Noelle: I hope the rain stays away for awhile. It's great that you're able to get out and walk. I can't remember if I told you, but I'm also doing WW and I've lost 7 pounds so far. I've started taking our dog, Tucker, out for walks every night. We've also walked over to a friend's house so Tucker could visit with their dog, Baca. We wanted to make sure they still got along because those friends are going to keep Tucker for the 5 weeks we're gone this summer.

Angie: It's so good to see you back. The pics of the new 5th wheel are great. I'm happy for you. As I said before, you can always break it in with a trip out here. ;)

Noelle, Thanks, The truck does look pretty good with the flames huh? :lol: I Loved those so much and had to buy them so now we have a flame theme on it. The taillight covers are flames too and we have a couple chrome flames for the side but we havent put them on yet.

That tree was so small when we moved here 6 years ago and I cant believe how huge it has gotten so quickly. It is in between the bakery and my house and the way it is growing I am not sure if we may have to cut it in a couple more years because it will be growing into my walkway and the driveway. I dont want to. We have alwasy wanted to decorate it for Christmas but never have. :lol:
