  • I was wrong, it's day 7..
  • Dance4joy: its a contest that began feb 15th and runs till easter.. In my Pic's group... we get points (eggs) for meeting our water goal, meeting our carb goal, meeting our calorie goal, and also 5 eggs for each 30 min of exercise per day.. a pound lost is worth 100 eggs
  • Hi guys.
I missed you so much. NO time to post, no time to do anything really.
I've not been in the gym for a week now, feeling extremely guilty about it...but I've been busy working. We are finally live on Phase A as of last night.
Other phases by Monday a week from now. I've been eating healthy overall all this time. except yesterday for an International Women's day, I had some sugar porn...and white stuff porn with seafood on Monday. Even with these things today I AM 240 pounds... Since my heaviest ever it is a 38 pound loss, and since the start only 31 lb. No way I am stopping now. Starting tomorrow or may be even tonight if time permits I will go back to the gym. I am not going to change a ticker until I hold this weight for 1 week at least and excercised, because I am concerned I am loosing some of my tone. I also plan on getting 5 personal trainer sessions and will let you know how it goes.
Sorry to talk about me, me, and myself.
Congrats to everyone completing challenges, and special congrats to everyone upkeeping their goals. I miss you guys.
In the future if I disapper like that again, please PM so I remember my duties.... I am sorry for being so wrapped up. Till next post notifying you of a successful liftoff.
  • Howdy Howdy!

I had to take a pause on my water challenge yesterday - didn't quite get it all in there. This makes today day 3 for water and 4 for fitday - the day's not over yet, but I'm almost done with the water and I'm chugging along on the fitday logging. I am really proud of myself, though - because I resisted food porn lunch! We had a guest speaker and they always provide food for those things - the greasiest stuff imaginable and today there were even beverage porns. I just ate my half a banana and drank my water and then had my healthy choice frozen entree afterwards, supplemented with a cup of soup.

I can still smell the deliciousness that I turned down in my head, but the temptation is gone now and I stayed on track. Woot!

Congratulations to FishWoman on finishing your challenge! and it's good to hear from you again, CBeta - great job on the loss - hang in there!

International Women's Day was something of a farce here - to my mind, anyway. We had a big speaker come and talk to us about how the feminist movement is contrary to feminine dignity and how there really are differences between men and women that need to be taken into account. I was really angry and chose not to attend. Instead I stayed home and played a video game and refused to clean my house. Ahwell - such is life.

    Keep on Truckin!

  • Hi everyone!!!

I am running way low on time, but wanted to drop a note to say way to go to everyone!!!
  • Day 20 43 carbs
  • Congrats to Chai for resisting temptation. And to Curly - way to go on your challenge. One more day

Day 8 for my challenges, complete. One day at a time.

I am feeling pretty good myself. I had a work lunch, and only ate half of the huge portion they gave, and even avoided the extra bread provided. One choice at a time, I guess.

Where is everybody? Missing some of our voices here. But a big hello and hope all is going SUPER to everyone. Have a good night.
  • Thanks Curlylocks... I still don't understand but appreciate the explanation.

I am checking in to wind down day 10 with no pauses -- almost halfway!
  • Two weeks down, one to go!
Today was Day 14. Just got down and did the crunches. Considered a pause day but really had no excuse NOT to do the crunches, so I did 'em. Yay!

Sorry, all, no time to write now. But just wanted to say....

es angel!! Hurrah and a belated congratulations to you!! Wow! Three challenges all done! (I take it you did complete the third one, right?) You rock!!

    AND!!!

Fish!! You too!! Three cheers for no wimp of a challenge! Great balls of fire!

curly -- Will be looking for good news from you!!

I will have some time tomorrow morning (your Friday night) to get around to you all. Sorry, but things are hectic. You sound to mostly be doing good. Keep going all!

  • So I made it through both challenges yesterday - that means

Water Challenge (Level 2) - Day 3 Complete (1 pause day left)
Fitday Challenge (Level 1) - Day 4 Complete (1 pause day left)

    Keep on Truckin!
    Erin
  • Good morning all. I just finished my treadmill workout I am beat. Plus, the instructor has pretty much convinced me to try her buttkicking workouts What was I thinking??? Then, to top off my morning, in a complete blonde moment, I managed to slam my head into the car when I got in - I have ice on my head as we speak.

OK. Enough whining. Congrats to Chai, Red, and Dance for meeting your challenges for the day. Cbeta - I forgot to ask, how is your knee doing?? And congrats to you for deciding to get some personal trainer sessions. We will have to compare notes!

    Have a super day all
  • Oh no jollygirl... hope your head gets better fast!!! Good job on the exercise. I love to do it in the morning but have to leave for work at 6 AM so never get it in. On Sat mornings I sometimes get up really early and go for it.
  • Day 4 done
I only have a couple of minutes, but wanted to pop in and say days 3 (1245) and 4 (1455) of my calorie challenge are completed.

I am back in DC for two days as of last night and it is so nice out! We are supposed to hit 70 degrees today I am *trying* to sneak out early, but have to meet with one of the senior associates "later this afternoon." I understand he is busy, but I have spring fever and want to spend a little time with my hubby before I go back to NYC for another 10 days

    Have a great weekend, everyone!!
  • SMACK! that's the sound of me running into a wall....
  • Quote: SMACK! that's the sound of me running into a wall....
An actual wall? Or a metaphorical wall?

I ask because if it's an actual wall, we are going to strap you to the bed so you can't fall down and hurt yourself AGAIN

If it is a metaphorical wall, I have two comments for you:
    1) at least you are wearing hot leather skirts and size 10 levis; and
    2) seriously? I can totally empathize with you, as I have been at 137 for
at least a month now, and cannot seem to lose anymore.

Hang in there, sweetie - we are all here for you
