Default Whey Protein Shakes?

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone knows if it's okay for a nursing mom to drink Whey Protein Shakes? I'd like to start drinking it for lunch instead of eating a lunch??? Just curious!

Thanks!

Paula~I don't know, but I think you can ask in the pregnant and nursing threads. They would know better.

Carly~Salad is better than eating candy all day.

Jenn~How is the new dog?? MY kids would love to get one, but I don't know if I am ready for one.

Chris~how are you??? Hope you are doing well!

The game was awsome the score was 7-1 white sox!!! I did not do too badly I had a brat with saurekraut (sp) and DH and I split a thing of nacho's. THen on the way home he wanted to stop and get a burrito, we stopped, but I did not get anything. I just had one bite of his taco...My brother got the burrito. WE went to bed, then I got up and went to work. After work on Sat a friend and I went shopping. I ended up getting a burger for dinner, but I really did not enjoy it. too greasy. Also I noticed that clothes are not made the way they were. I know I don't fit in my 22's but I could not find any 20's that fit (or 2x). I will just have to keep working out, and hope that my pandt don't fall around my knees.

Yesterday we had church, then DH's baseball league had their opening game. We went to that and dh's team won 10-2. The kids did a ton better than they had before, so that is good, I actually got to watch the game, and I even kept score~but only through the 7th inning. #2dd had to make #2, and the field house was closed, so I actually had ro drive her to a restaurant. But thing were great, just a little chillly! a front moved in off the lake as they played, so it went from about 80 to 55 and windy. Hopefully nezt week will go better weather wise.

Hugs to all!

My gosh, I haven't posted since the 19th. I've just been swamped with schoolwork, Easter, and a ton of birthdays. I haven't really had much time to even breathe. I AM ALIVE THOUGH!!!!

We had a big party on Saturday for everyone in the family who had a birthday in April. Much easier to get everyone together and then we only had to eat one cake instead of having a piece of 8 different cakes. We'll repeat the process in July when we get slammed with 7 more birthdays.

I'd love to say that I've been on track but I think the last couple days have been kind of not soo good. I haven't eaten fast food for a couple weeks now though. I just wish some of my efforts would pay off. I did go back down to 201 again! My body seems to have a hard time budging past that number. Anyone have any ideas?????? I'm tired out that same number staring back at me everytime I get on the scale. I want to get into ONEderland and stay there. YOu know, become a permanent resident....

I guess I should get off of here and get back to my homework after I load the dishwasher. I have been racking my brain on a payroll problem in our simulated payroll cycle and I FINALLY GOT IT FIGURED OUT!! So I need to relax for a few and get my mind on other things. Check back in a while.

Good morning ladies!!! I am feeling so much better these days!! I was talking to my mom, and the pollen counts are really high, and that can contribute to why I have been so tired. I am going to just keep plugging along, and hopefully as we proceed into summe I will have more energy. I am going to make a new goal, I want to be down a size by the end of the summer. I know I can do this, I just have to start tageting my tummy, when I went shopping that is where I had all the problems. I will just be slow but steady, keep you fingers crossed that I don't have too much extra skin. Have to run, will catch you all later!

Default New to the boards

Hi everyone!
I am new around here and was hoping to join you all. I am a 32 year old stay at home mom to my son Nate who is 10 months old. I have been married to my husband Brian for almost 3 years. I have always struggled with my weight but when I got pregnant I gained way too much. I was overweight at the beginning of my pregnany and gained close to 60 pounds. I have currently lost about 40 pounds of that and would love to lose about 6o more. I know in the back of my mind that I can do this because I have done it before. But I never had that much to lose. I feel like this is a good place for support and encouragement that I am going to need! I am looking forward to chatting with you all!
