Chris! LTNS !!
Hello to everyone :) Let me tell yall who I am, I have been here before but took a break for awhile. I'm Chrissy, 40 year old Mom of 3. I started off here in Feb of last year and lost 46 lbs, but my husband was diagnosed with melanoma and well I'm a major stress eater, and I ate...gained back 20 lbs that I lost..My husband still has a lot to go threw but I gotta get this weight off, so I can be his back bone, ya know? What good I am if I'm sitting here stuffing my face and not helping him out.....so here I am, eating a cookie cuz I know starting Monday, yes Monday I'm back in full force. I am going to give myself 1 day to chill, and that will be Sundays when I get home from work, I work 5:30 am till 3 pm....then my hubby and I watch the race and drink our beers LOL! My oldest daughter needs to lose some weight also, we both were at the Drs on Monday, so I'm gonna get her here too, hopefully she can find someone to talk to and help her achieve her goals.
Anyhow I have rambled as usual. I look forward to seeing yall again and meeting the new girls. I hope you all are well and have a fantastic weekend..I'll be here every single day again, I gotta do this for me, and my kids and my husband...
<----tired of being the fat funny friend ya know?

chrily 04-07-2006 06:04 PM

Hey Chrissy! Yah, LTNS....glad to see you back. How is the family doing? I'm sooo looking forward to seeing more posts from you again.

Well not too much happening today. I'm working on my homework. I have a few assignments due today. We had to go to school today to watch Kayla's play for first grade. They did fairy tales so she was the narrator for one, Chicken Licken for another, and finally Goldilocks. She was too cute.

Well just a quick check in. I better get back to my homework so that I'm not stuck here all night. Check back later.

Chris

ChrissyL 04-08-2006 07:58 AM

Hiya :)
Family is doing good thanks, my hubby goes for surgery number 3 on the 20 th, he will have surgery every 3 months for a year till they get it all.....blah but he is dong well, thank GOD.
Kids are good too, thanks for asking :) How is everyone on your end? Was Kayla all excited about her play or was she nervous? She must have looked so cute :) Alot of homework left for you? How much longer until you are done with school? Probably seems like it wont be done soon enough huh?
Well I am getting ready to go to work, then I'll come home and straighten up the mess the kids made while we are at work LOL Then someone is coming to buy a pair of our lovebirds (we breed lovebirds) the babies are all 7 weeks now and ready to go....I'm sad but glad at the same time...its extra money for us, plus I love our birds :)
Check in with yall after awhile.
Have a wonderful day all :)

Losingitin06 04-08-2006 06:24 PM

I am going to school to finish my grade 12 diploma :)

I just stepped on the scale and am at 200 even.. almost in ONEderland!

Lady Jackyl 04-08-2006 11:30 PM

Hi I was wondering if I could join in, Im a mother of two boys. Both in preschool. And Im currently trying to lose the rest of the baby weight that took me three years to get motivated to lose.

chrily 04-09-2006 01:59 AM

Lady Jackl...of course you can join in. Man, what I wouldn't give to be in your weight range. :) My name is Chris. Mom of 3 girls...12, 6 and 3. I work part time, am a full time student and totally stressed lately. Looking forward to hearing more from you. If you have any good ways of staying motivated...I'm all ears! :D

Jen-YOu go girl! Get that diploma!

Chrissy-So glad to hear that your all doing good. Kayla was just a little cutie in her play. I recorded her first acting job...lol. For this year, I only have 5 more weeks left of school. For my degree, I have one more year left. But I'm thinking about switching to getting a Bachelor's degree. I'm not sure if I'm that ambitious though. The last few weeks have been so stressful. I guess I'll have classes like that every now and then. The worki is challenging..which I love but also very time consuming.

HI Carly! Hi Ellen! How are you two ladies doing?

Gonna go to bed I think. I'm soooo tired.

chris

Losingitin06 04-09-2006 08:02 AM

Good morning ladies,
I'm up, getting Logan breakfast, going to have myself some cereal and a cup of tea and head to the gym for an hour :)

Lady Jackyl 04-09-2006 08:48 AM

Well I have two boys that are 13 months apart 3 and 4. Im a stay at home mom. And I gain almost all my weight with my boys Im lucky it wasnt more considering my 3 year old was a 10 pound 2 oz baby and ended I up with gestational diabeties while preg. Ive been reading though your guys post and you seem very supportive, Im having a hard time getting the last of this weight off, pretty much the rest of the weight I do need to lose is in my belly. I just started some aerobics 30 min a day on top of my two one hour 3 miles walks.

chrily 04-09-2006 01:34 PM

Lady-I'm having a hard time getting the belly stuff to go away too along with the love handles on my hips. I've been working out in a gym and lifting weights so my arms and legs are getting pretty toned up but the rest of me is just...YUCK!

Hi Jen...How did the gym go? I was only able to get there once this week. Too much stuff going on. I'm overworked, overwhelmed and overtired....;)

Hey Ellen and Carly! Hope the weekend is going okay for ya all.

Chris

Losingitin06 04-09-2006 01:49 PM

the gym was great.. did 40 mins of cardio and the circut :)

we are heading to my sister in laws for supper tonight.. she is making chicken and ribs.. lord give me strength to not over eat!

Lady Jackyl 04-09-2006 09:41 PM

chrily I think the first places I lost my weight was my thighs and my boobs. Some say the last place you put it on is the last place you lose it but I dont know when I got my gut or love handles. ;) How is everyone planning on handling easter? with the food and the candy and such... Im gonna have a hard time not eating that chocolate easter bunny that my mother still insist on giving me every year. :)

upswife 04-09-2006 11:49 PM

Good evening ladies!!

Welcome to lady!! and welcome back to chrissy!!!

This weekend was good, but busy. Did not go to the gym, but it was so nice out we had the family over and played baseball in the yard. Don't worry we were only hitting the wiffle balls(practice). I did feel better throwing, I just hope my arm does not hurt tomorrow.

With Easter coming up, and all the stuff we (DH) does for the church choir, I am hoping I can make it to the gym twice this week. We will go tomorrow, and I am going to try to get there on Thurs. We also have to get some yard work done So that will be my work out on Wed. Easter should be fine if we all make it through the week.

I have to get to bed, the letters are dancing in front of me, and I can't see.

((hugs))

chrily 04-11-2006 12:43 AM

Okay..Chrissy, Lady, Jen, Ellen, and Carly...How are you all doing today?

What IS everyone doing for Easter? My plans are still all up in the air. I can honestly say that I won't be eating much candy. I work with the stuff all the time...it just doesn't have the same appeal I guess. My sister has invited us over to her MIL's house but my husband is so famiy phobic when it comes to my side of the family. So I'm not sure what's on the agenda.

I went to the gym tonight with my sister and did 15 min on the elliptical, 15 on the crosstrainer and 10 on the recumbent bike. Came home and gave Nicole a breathing treatment. Yep, she's sick again. Her breathing is off and she's wheezing. Not sure if its a virus or if its allergies. Tis the season for that too.

Tomorrow I turn 35. OUCH! I'm getting old. Real old.

Gonna check on ebay and see what's happening and then go to bed. I'm all curled up with my laptop right now and Nicole is laying down beside me.

~chris

Lady Jackyl 04-11-2006 01:00 PM

I get to drive two and a half lovely hours down to terre haute to visit my mother and father. My mother always cooks all of her food southern style meaning lots of fried and fatty things :( Im gonna have to bring some things of my own to snack on hope they dont take offense to it. Still gotta run out and buy my boys some easter candy and toys, Ive been procrastinating.

Gonna try and do 30 minutes of aerobics today I can usually only get up to 20 before I end up winded. Walk my 6 miles of course, and do some free weights.

Oh and happy B-Day Chrily...(and 35 isnt that old ;) )

upswife 04-11-2006 01:26 PM

Happy Birthday Chris!!!:hb: :gift: :woo:

upswife 04-11-2006 01:27 PM

And I love these new smilies too!!:frypan: :kickbutt:

chrily 04-11-2006 03:58 PM

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I like the smilie clubbing the other over the head with the skillet. That's what i feel like doing to hubby sometimes...LOL>

Just hanging out at home for my birthday. My husband and kids got me this teenie little MP3 player that stores 695 songs. Like I can't even think of 695 songs. I should be doing my homework...

I'm going to poop around for a few minutes and then get Kayla from school. Check back after I actually exercise.

~chris

Lady Jackyl 04-12-2006 10:09 AM

Finally... I am able to do an entire 30 minutes aerobics without falling over dead :cb: Weighed myself today and down 2 more pounds I know its not much but its a lot to me. Now just got to not gain it back over easter weekend. Just gotta keep telling myself... I will not eat a chocolate bunny..lol

Anywoo hows everyone doing? :)

chrily 04-13-2006 12:52 AM

Lady J-Watch out for those marshmallow PEEPS too. That's my danger candy at Easter.

I didn't do half bad today. I did 25 min on the treadmill. 35 on weights. and 20 min of walking (my daughter wanted to walk to school this morning). My eating hasn't been the best but I think the exercise offset all of it.

Well my ear is back to being obnoxious. It's making my neck and my throat sore again and I have that stupid ringing back. I wish my doctor's appt would hurry up and roll around. I might check in to getting in with a different doctor.

Time for my soak in the bath to relax my muscles for the night. See you ladies in the morning...

Hi Ellen, Chrissy, Carly and Jen!!!

~chris

carlytaz 04-13-2006 06:10 AM

Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Birthday Chris..... oh how I wish to be 35 again...... oh well no sense dwelling on it...:D

sorry I have not be around lately ... been so busy lately... I put my house back on the market... so i have been cleaning like a mad man... my boss decided he was just gonna up and go to florida and he forgot to tell me until monday.. so been really crazy there... I have been exercising 30 minutes everyday except yesterday because I cleaned all morning because all the town realtors where coming... I did sweat so i count that as a work out.. anyways... the eating is terrible... I was hoping after a few weeks of exercising regularly that it will all click in to place and I would just magically start eating right... well ... ummm.... nope didnt happen....:( so i guess i actually have to do the work... bummer huh.... anyways, today is a new day... so i will begin again...

Hello Lady j.. welcome to this wonderful group... the ladies her are all just wonderful and motivating.... and they do keep ya on your toes.. so watch out..

well I need to get to work ... I will try to check back later....
have a wonderful day... drink your water ladies....

God Bless
Carly

ChrissyL 04-13-2006 08:22 AM

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHRIS :) 35 ! Your a youngun to me still :) I turned 40 in November, I still act like I'm in my 20's though....eating like I used to and all....wish I could eat and not gain like I did back then LOL!
You got a MP3 player that holds that much? Dang I would be a happy camper LOL! My oldest daughters only holds about 60, cuz we didn't want to get her a *bigger* one in case she lost it ya know?

I need a new CD player for my car because the one in there wont play burned CD's...piece of crap LOLOL

I have to work Easter Sunday(usually go in at 5:30, but we aren't opening till 7 ) and I'll leave at 2 since everyone is coming to our house for dinner. I have alot of baking to do on Sat and get most of the foods cooked so all my hubby has to do is put it in the oven on Sun morning. I have been so good and only picked at the black jelly beans instead of eating 10 bags by now LOL!

Thanks for the WB Ellen, its nice to *meet* you :)

upswife 04-13-2006 10:24 AM

GOod morning ladies! Just a short note before I crawl back into bed. I caught a little virus. I am hoping I can feel better soon, so I can go to all the easter stuff at church.

Tha scale has not been overly friendly, but I guess I am not gaining, so that is good. This week for workouts is horrible, I was planning on going today, but if I still feel badly then I won't. But I think I may be turning a corner, I do feel better than I did last night. We will see.

Have a great day!! It is going to be almost 80 here! Yay spring has sprung!!

Lady Jackyl 04-13-2006 04:13 PM

Yay I love this warm weather 80 here today but boy does it suck for working out.. Tryed to do my 30 minutes of aerobics only did about 20 due to all the sweating under my boobz :o And those peeps are killer, all that sugar...my mother used to buy me those every year I asked her not to this year but Im sure I'll get down there and have a mountain of them waiting for me :)

chrily 04-14-2006 01:37 AM

Lady J-Hey at least you got some exercise in today. I didn't. When are you going to your mom's???

Ellen-Get better pumpkin! What a time to get sick huh? MY kids or I usually get sick right around Christmas. Kayla and Nicole did and then Tiana was sick Christmas day through the rest of her vacation. No Easter bugs here. Thank GOD!

Chrissy-Hummm...I always thought you wer younger than me! :o Ya, me and my MP3...I have a total of 5 songs on it right now. :D I told my husband..."Hey 690 to go!"

Carly-Great job on the exercise! Man, you sound like a busy lady. Hope your house sells this time around. IT should with the weather getting nice. I think trying to sell it in the winter is hard with very little buyers. Crossing my fingers that you get it sold and get to move forward with your plans. :)

Me...let's see. I worked today. Got some homeowork done and started my daughter's Easter dress. I gave my mom the other dress I cut out. She said she'd sew it up so that way I have a bit more time for my stuff. She gets so bored and she's been in sewing mode. Why should I take all her fun away!!!

Gotta get to bed. I have to work tomorrow too...My dad, brother and a family friend are going fishing tomorrow, so I have to fill in.

Chris

carlytaz 04-14-2006 06:42 AM

Good Morning everyone,

Sounds like everyone is doing pretty good around here... except ellen.... I do hope you are feeling better today...

my hubby had some kind of virus thing for 2 weeks... sore throat... cough... but he seems to be getting better finally... no one else has gotten it.. i hope it stays that way..

we are having easter dinner at home.... I invited my oldest son to come over for dinner... he said he would so I am happy about that... he is 20 and in January he was staying with us and created some problems around here , so we had him removed and we have been kinda on the outs since then. but things are getting better... its seems he is trying to mature...

well yesterday, I exercised twice... one in the morning.. and then in the evening.. I really like doing those walk away the pounds videos.... they actually do work... I did a total of 5 mile walk yesterday ... right here in my bedroom.. cool huh.. :D now if i could just get the eating down...

well have a great day ladies,,, and if i dont get a chance to pop in over the weekend have a wonderful easter... dont eat to much junk.... and make sure you still get in your water....

God Bless
Carly

racegirl2210 04-14-2006 09:23 AM

Hi Everyone

Hello..
I am a newbie here at 3FC. I would like a couple of threads to join so I decided this one would be good. I am 25, 5'10, and currently weigh 247 ugh...it hurts to even type it. I have been working out daily and eating better. My main problem is that I forget to eat all day (since I have 5 kids and I am a stay at home mom) and then binge at night when I make dinner. But for the past week I have done well. I have been making myself eat breakfast, lunch and dinner....and maybe a snack (fruit or veggie) in between.

So my short term goal is 15 lbs in the first two months...hopefully I can achieve it..;)

I love this website..the people here are great and very supportive, if anyone needs a buddy online on AIM or yahoo messenger IM me

Well have a great day and great weekend..AND STAY AWAY FROM THE DESERTS...:) <<<<<<<that is my goal...

Mary

upswife 04-14-2006 09:33 AM

Welcome Mary!! WoW 5 kids!! I thought it was rough when I was 25 and had 3 kids. Mine are currently 5.5yo, 4yo, and 2.5 yo. The definitly keep me busy. Speaking of them, they are patiently waiting for breakfast (THey slept in because DS was off from school today) Have to run. Later chicas

Lady Jackyl 04-14-2006 12:11 PM

Going down to my moms on suday, so I got a little bit of time to plan on some type of food to take so Im not stuck eating all that high fat food. :)

And welcome Mary, wow 5 kids.. I can hardly handle my two boys (3 and 4). Your probably getting a lot of exercise with them alone. ;)

chrily 04-15-2006 02:20 AM

I did try to post this morning but Nicole bumped my laptop and everything on my screen went blank and I didn't want to be late for work.

ANyhow...Welcome Mary! I don't know how you do it with 5...my 3 about made my hair fall out today and my tension level was at an all time high. They were exceptionally bad today. Fighting, defiant, loud, whiney...etc. How do you deal with that!?!?! I"m at my wit's end. I'll P.M you my Yahoo ID and maybe we can chat sometime.

Hey Carly, Hi Lady J, Jenn, Chrissy, and Ellen...Happy Easter and stay out of those PEEPS and REESE PEANUT BUTTER EGGS!

I have to sew the buttons on Coli's Easter dress than I'm going to bed. I have had the worst time with insomnia lately. I'm only getting like 4 hours a night. Hope this passes soon.

Tomorrow is another busy day. Dance pictures, volleyball, homework and last minute Easter preps,
Night ladies...
chris

Lady Jackyl 04-15-2006 08:48 AM

I think my all time biggest problem at easter is a cadbury eggs those are soooo good.

And my kids were little demons  yesterday. ... I now have a beautiful hole about the size of a softball in my livingroom wall.

Losingitin06 04-15-2006 09:26 PM

arg, i didn't make it to the gym at all this week.. and tomorrow i'll be gone all day at my mother in laws in oshawa.. I did go for a 30 min walk today.. that's something right.

blah.. my goal is to go atleast 4 days this comming week

chrily 04-15-2006 11:41 PM

Lady J...soooo, mom, how'd the hole get in the wall???? My kids were terrors yesterday too. Nicole still was today too. She's almost asleep. Makes me one happy mom. Of course, I have to stay awake for the bunny stuff.

Jen-Don't sweat it. I was going to get in at least 20 min a day for at least 5 days this week and didn't get it. It's so hard when life gets in the way. :(

Well Happy Easter you too, and Happy Easter to you Ellen, Carly, Chrissy, and Mary! Check in on you gals later tomorrow.

Chris

upswife 04-16-2006 12:29 PM

Happy Easter ladies!!!

I get to spend the day at my mom's, but she is also watching what she eats, so it shold not be too bad...but then again, my dad does the cooking! All I am bringing is some pies, but I am really sugared out, so I don't really feel like any. Will just have to watch how much german potato salad I have.

I can relate to holes in the wall, but so far I do not have a softball sized one, but DH once broke a switchplate (light switch). ((hugs))

Let's go exercise!!! With Easter plans at church, DH and I only made it on monday. I am looking forward to going this week. I am aiming for 4days this week, hopefully everyone stays healthy...including me!!!

Have to get moving will check in tomorrow.

Lady Jackyl 04-16-2006 07:40 PM

Well the drywall in my house is very old, and very old dry wall vs. a metal tonka truck= hole in wall :) And I did very good today no peeps, no chocolate bunnies, and no cadbury eggs

racegirl2210 04-16-2006 08:27 PM

Easter...

Well I had dinner at my house today...complete with Turkey, Ham, Sweet Potatoes (with marshmallows), mashed potatoes, noodles, deviled eggs, rolls, lots of pies, green bean casserole....etc...

And guess what..I kept myself in check...I ate some turkey and allowed myself to eat 1/4 of a sweet potatoe no mashed potatoes I had 2 deviled eggs no roll and no noodles...AND BEST OF ALL...I resisted the PIE...!!!

I excercised every day this week for 30-45 min each day....:carrot: I am gonna try to keep doing it every day because I feel it is easier to keep doing it than to quit for a day and then start back up...

Have a good one!

Mary

chrily 04-17-2006 12:04 AM

I didn't do so good today but I'll be right back on track tomorrow. I'm just taking a quick break. I have so much homework to do. YuCK!

Happy Easter!!!

~chris

carlytaz 04-17-2006 07:37 AM

Good Morning Ladies,

I did ok yesterday.... not great but ok... I think Mary is correct when she says its easier just to exercise everyday.. I usually stop on the weekends and beginning again on monday and it is very diffecult sometimes to get myself motivated... I might just take mary's advice...

Well I need to get some stuff done before the phones start to ring around here..

I hope everyone has a wonderful day ...

God Bless
Carly

Lady Jackyl 04-18-2006 11:48 AM

I exercise everyday, still holding on to my 6 mile walk a day commitment I made to myself for April. Im always afraid if I dont exercise one day that it will turn into two then three days and so on. Also finding myself addicted to exercise guess you can get addicted to just about anything, but at least this is healthy. Im working extra hard now because Im trying to get down to a size 8 before mothers day, Im getting some new jeans hopefully :carrot:

And for those of you that didnt do well on easter just get back on track and dont look back :)

upswife 04-18-2006 01:00 PM

Hello everyone!

I did pretty well over easter, but than I had a touch of the tummy bug so I did really well yesterday!!! WIll just have to keep up the hard work to keep the train going! I was supposed to exercise yesterday, but obviously DH and I did not make it. I am going to go tomorrow, I will have to work too late tonight, and will not make it. ((hugs)) to all!

chrily 04-19-2006 11:27 AM

Hey all..yesterday was a busy one for me. I worked my tail off on my homework. THen I went to the gym with my sister last night. I got 25 min on the elliptical and 10 on the recumbent bike.

I didn't do so good with eating on Easter. But I guess that's my typical holiday. I'm not going to sweat it. I got right back on track yesterday. Today I'm doing okay too. I'll be going to the gym this afternoon with my sister so I'll be getting my exercise in today.

Hope you all had a happy Easter! Ellen, how's your tummy today? Hope your feeling better. Gotta go and get some stuff done. Homework, homework, homework.

Chris
