I just did a search online for glasses. That link below said 19.00 for glasses. There were quite a few sites and I may check them out if they want too much money to fix mine. No cross stitching until I get my glasses again.

I hear ya about leftovers. After dinner, I put one serving into a gladware container and then put the points on the side and toss it in the fridge for lunch for me for another day. Tomorrow josh is spending the night with my parents so I took out two "freezer surprises" and I will just heat those up for me and the girls tomorrow night. I don't have to cook! Love it.

wtg theresa and melissa and the leftovers. i haven't got the hang of that yet. i still have a problem with leaving uneaten food so i try to only make enough for one meal. but sometimes that isn't possible so i need to learn how to deal with leftovers -- you know, not eating *everything.* i couldn't even face the idea of leaving half a pint of ice cream in the freezer. i just had to finish it all. sheesh.
i am so loving the new fresca soda right now. it's delish, and even though it's diet, it doesn't say so anywhere on the can. just says zero calories in the nutrition data section. it's about time that soda without calories became the norm, without having to have some prominent label saying "hey, this is for all you fat people out there!!" soda should not have calories because no matter what, it is not nutritious.

One thing I do cadwell is I don't let them sit very long at all. As soon as the meal is done, I divide the portions that are left, get them in their containers and straight into the freezer they go. That way there is nothing sitting around that can call my name later, especially if it is something very tasty that I like. I saw the commercial for the fresca and I will have to try it. I have to mail a book someone won from my auction and get Amanda some diapers, and then stop by the eye doctor to see how much to fix my glasses or replace them. Just irks me. Raining here again today so I am confined to indoor jobs today and will get on my bike too.

Theresa- you sound wonderful! I used to be the human garbage can when my kids were little and finish everything in sight, -even things I would never make for myself. Even now tho, with the kids gone. I can't keep peanut butter in the house cause it's so good on a spoon with a little chocolate sause on top and you don't even need to dirty a plate and if you eat it standing up with the fridge door open, you can pretend it never happened.
I think once you recognize the accomplishment of staying OP and seeing results, clothes or scale, you can celebrate, and that makes it harder to fall off.
Sometimes for me tho, when someone notices a change, I fall off right away cause I don't wnt anyone to notice me.

Laura, I am the same way with falling off when others notice, but right now I'm okay because no one has noticed but me so far

We just got back from downtown trick or treating and parade. The kids had a blast and we walked 1 1/2 hours straigt, but in a very very slow line of kids. Allie was petrified of the scary masks and would freeze up and stare, I had to pick her up to get her to move on from one man. We might not make it very far come Monday night because I'm sure there will be even more masks that night.

I felt bad because everyone was all over Tyler, "look at tht elephant! he's so cute" that sorta thing, and Allie was all smiling up and trying so hard to get attention but she only got a few "hey pretty princess" type comments as they gave her candy. Maybe I just felt bad, but she didn't? She was smiling though and giving her best "ain't I pretty" looks but Tyler was just too cute for anyone to compete with. Guess I just chalk this up to growing up for her. A couple years ago she was the cute baby Pocahontas with her bottle wrapped in leather and they went nuts over her, guess it's just his turn.

What I do when people oogle over Amanda is I thank them and agree and then say something good about the other two kids also. Nine times out of ten, the person will then also say something good about the other two also. It still hurts, especially when we look at those little faces.

I am thrilled as the eye doctor said no charge to fix my glasses. It will take a week as Odessa trashed the frames but for free I am happy to wait a week. Now I need to get some housework done since I was running all over town this morning.

Ok I am done.. sorry.. i was floating all morning. I am not at all the type to want attention either but today it just felt good. maybe it was the kindness of the people who noticed?? one lady even said she had some jeans/pants in that size she'd bring me in-(and she shops at the nice mall stores the ones I can't afford!- second hand ?? who cares?? )
But I was of two minds- the irrational mind was well gee i prolly wouldn't fit in the jeans if i hadn't gotten sick and the rational mind was like well you know that wasn't a good way to lose weight but it happend so enjoy the jeans. Why do we do these things to ourselves????

I have a hubby who takes leftovers to work everyday . But i still go thru my: well i am cleaning off the table so I can just take one more bite of this or a nibble of that. I have been pretty good but there ARE days. I think on my wallyworld trip tonight i will replenish the gladware for the right sized servings.
I am glad the glasses were fixed free! that is great!
YUMMM peanut butter and chocolate- *wipes drool* two of my favorite food groups!
Housework hubby has to work all day sat. so i will do housework tomorrow..but jocie has a book report due tuesday so we 've got to get busy. ( grandparents are taking them to disney on Sunday! peace and quiet YAY!)

Guess what sandy??? YOU DO ROCK!!! I am one of those who personally doesn't care overly how the weight comes off as long as it does and it isn't drug induced so enjoy the pounds gone.

woohooo sandy, get those heads turning and forget about being sick to fit into them...that's hogwash and ya know it! It was all the hard work taking off those pounds t hat did it! Had you not lost those pounds, getting sick wouldn't have put ya in those jeans, right? It might have gotten you the last little bit of the way, but you did it fair and square. You rock those zippers, you deserve it.

I need to do that about fifty more times there isn't a lot of candy from the little downtown deal today, but the kids got rotten and I took it away...they actually think their buckets are in the trash ... and while it's hiding I keep sneaking pieces. It's these flavored tootsie rolls, black cherry and strawberry, that i can't get my hands out of. Other than that I have eaten NOTHING all day because I don't want anything, kind of like I don't feel like eating...when did that become possible? I would love to eat out, but I'm too lazy to go get it. What the heck is wrong with me today?

Theresa I have days that I am not particularly interested in eating but I do have a little something at each meal time anyway so I don't get attacked with the starvies later in the day and wind up cleaning out the kitchen. Oh BTW STAY OUT OF THAT CANDY!!!! You can tell me that Monday night when I get the kids back from their Halloween outing.

I too have had the blahs for a couple weeks myself, I think it is just the change in the seasons here it has gotten quite cold and very dark in the AMs and dark earlier in the PMs.
We are heading toward the worst time of year for me foodwise - So, if I lose just a little over the next two months I will be happy! I have been doing well on the exercise as this is the best time of year to walk at lunch!
I have managed to get myself down to 167?? I got on the scale three times this morning 'cause I didn't believe it!

All of you with little ones (I know I have said this before) God Bless You! - I don't know how you do it!! I have a husband and a dog and that is enough for me to keep up with!!

Melissa, we are going back out again Monday night so we'll have to yell at each other and make sure to stay out of it. Too late for me today, but I didn't go overboard, just had a few pieces. It's easy when there's not a lot there to stop, don't want them to find the bucket empty in the AM. Right now they still think it's all in the trash I'll let them have a piece tomorrow if they are good. Tomorrow has got to be a better day. I have no energy, no desire to eat, just wanting a long hot bath which I'm going to do now since they are in bed. Can't eat in the bathtub, so that works.

My DIL, who weighs about 3 lbs, puts all the wrapped up pieces of TOT candy in a plastic pumpkin on top of the fridge. The little boys are allowed 1 piece each evening after supper, so it lasts a long time and she never buys any other sweets except ice pops. The boys never complain. I could never have that pumpkin full of junk in my house. That's why I weigh 100 lbs more than my petite size 2 DIL.
I fell off tonight. I planned it. We ate in the Chinese buffet. I didn't go crazy. I pretended I was a normal person. I am back OP immediately. I am not guilty and I will not go off on a binge. Just one planned night out.
Tomorrow night we have 14 for dinner. I am going to figure it all out so I stay OP without any fuss or telling anyone. Dessert is fruit and sherbet. Main course is ground turkey mixed with veggies and rice in tomato sauce, broccoli and summer squash, salad and little rolls. My friend is bringing appetizers. So if I stay focused, and away from the wine (which is easy) I should be fine. I will be fine.
Theresa- Stay away from the candy. You have felt so good all week.Try to remember how good you felt.
Good for you Sandy. I really don't like pull up pants. I like zippers.
