GOOD ONE!

Ok, I'm out...leaving a little early cause Rocker's not feeling so hot at the moment. Have a great weekend!

SPILLIE 03-03-2006 03:49 PM

Whatever!!

Have a nice weekend Chickie.

I guess the rest of you will also be leaving soon, so I'll just say good night now because I really don't feel like talking to myself later on.

RockerChick 03-06-2006 08:08 AM

Morning Chickies...big morning here: gotta a meeting later with the big dogs to discuss what's gonna get done here at my one building--we were awarded a couple state grants. Woohoo. Can't wait b/c I'm so tired of explaining as to why things look the way they do. It'll be a royal PITA when all the work starts b/c they will have to work around my rental schedule but in the end it'll be worth it. That's what I keep telling myself anyway. Am also getting a range fixed this morning at my other building.

Mom's having a colonoscopy as we speak...she called me yesterday ans was so sick from the junk she had to drink to get ready for today. I'm guessing it's routine but I'm not sure.

I am extremely tired this morning...still sneezing/coughing a lot.

SPILLIE & TWIDDLE: hope you guys had fun on Sat!

VIVA & DUTCHIE: hope you guys had a great weekend!

Gotta go...so mcuh to do and I don't know where to start!

RockerChick 03-06-2006 08:28 AM

Would any of you Chickies happen to know if you can take a colored picture and get a black & white made off of it? (like at one of those machines). HELP. I have a pic that I think would look pretty cool in black & white (one that I took with my digital).

SPILLIE 03-06-2006 08:31 AM

Good Morning Chicas,

Even though I was not able to get out of my house all weekend, I had a pretty good one. I had the same problem I had last month all the months before that with TOM. I really am not taking the meds this month, I can't take it anymore. My whole life gets put on hold for about 5 days so that I can sit at home because if I move...well let's just say, it's a mess.

Great news, I think I can say I broke my plateau...I am down 2lbs this week (best part is that is with TOM) and I finally hit the 160's. I am thrilled with this Core plan. I feel like I eat so much and I'm not cheating. Today I have a Beef Stroganoff in the slow cooker, yesterday I made soup. I'm feeling good about myself. Remind me about this feeling when I start getting down about my WL again.

CHICKIE, I wasn't able to make the outing on Saturday, I was in my apartment hiding because I couldn't walk two steps without it being a disaster, remember when I called you hysterical about it two months ago; this was so much worse. I just put a call into my GYN. I'm telling her to either switch meds or I'm going to a different DR.

HI TWIDDLE, VIVA and DUTCHIE, hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

BE BACK LATER, HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

I don't know about the machines, but I do know you can take it to a photo lab and they can do it. I had one of my mom's old pictures done like that. She looks like a movie star in black & white. She's wearing this halter top dress, standing in front of some flowers when she was about 18yrs old and thinner than the movie stars now. She was gorgeous. Why couldn't I inherit those genes. :(

thanks SPILLIE....hope you're feeling better!

I'm already starting off bad...stupid people are NASTY on the phone. UGH! I'm trying to keep positive though and so far, IT'S NOT WORKING!

Dad just emailed me...they are home and everything was ok with mom's test...he said she's already in bed. They got up early b/c she had to be at the place at 6am...I got the times screwed up.

Good morning chicklets!

SPILLIE - We missed you on Saturday! Foxxy and DH ended up coming after all! I thought D was sick, but apparently they just didn't have a babysitter. They found one, so they came. Congrats on the loss! I made your chicken and macaroni in the crockpot yesterday. Yum! S really liked it too. He wanted more, but I told him they were leftovers for another day. He was disappointed.

ROCKER - I can do that on my PC. If you want to e-mail it to me, I'll see what I can do and e-mail it back to you.

VIVA and DUTCHIE - Hope you gals had a good weekend.

Not much going on here. Went to the Phantoms game Friday night, which was fun (and a cheap night out...something to think about...). Saturday was the f2f, obviously. We had a good time. Sunday we went to see Capote, and ran some errands, but generally a low-key day.

Guess that's about it...talk to you all later!

VIVA~GIRL 03-06-2006 09:38 AM

Quick post from me. I've got a bunch of things to do that need my attention like right now (How dare them???) Had a good weekend, but ate WAY too much junk. I'm still not sure why? Today drinking a ton of water to prepare for WI tomorrow! Stepped on the scale this morning and I was the same as WI on Tuesday, so at least I'm not up. Today I gotta whip myself into shape.

Just got my raise & bonus information - so I'm happy. I think that was the only thing that got me to come to work today...LOL.

SPILLIE & ROCKER: Hope you guys feel better!

TWIDDLE: Glad you had a good weekend!

Hi DUTCHIE!

Okay...gotta get movin'...I'll check in soon though!

Dutchie08 03-06-2006 05:11 PM

Hi all,

I had a free moment here at work, so I thought I would pop in and say hello. I hope you all are doing well. I had my weigh in on Sunday and I was up .7 lbs. It was bound to happen and I know what I did that maybe had me gain. It's now the start of a new week and back on track. Is it me or is it hard to stay on track when it's the weekend? I find myself on track during the week, but when it comes to the weekends, I struggle. I have no idea why.

Anyway... I had a good weekend. Had dinner over one of my mum's friend's house on Saturday. It was supposed to be a shower, but they changed it to dinner instead. The husband is a gourmet chef and he always cooks these fabulous meals. So, that was my Saturday night. Haven't hung out with my parents in a while, so it was kind of nice to spend some time with them and some of their friends. I know that sounds weird, oh well.

Sunday I stayed home from church. Just didn't feel like going this week. Did laundry that needed to be done and then packed up and left for my brother's. I will be staying at his house during the week until "Busy Season" is over with. It's a shorter commute to work every day and I can get home at a decent time. I get to see my nephews more often now, too which is great.

So, other than that, nothing much new to report. You guys have a great day tomorrow. I'll try and get on here, but can't promise anything. Depends how busy we are. I'm here until 7:30p tonight, if all goes well. We'll see. When does April 16th get here? ha-ha.

Alright, see you all later... :)

SPILLIE 03-07-2006 08:48 AM

Hola Chicas,

I hope all had a good evening. I ended up spending mine laying on the sofa trying not to move to much. I did my AbLounger and I have a CardioGlide, I guess that's what it's called and ended up making things worse. So I layed on the sofa watching Two For The Money, with Matthew McConaughey and Al Pacino...didn't like it, couldn't get into it. So then I started watching Elizabethtown with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst...didn't like it either, just was not my cup of tea. So I ended up going to bed at 8:30 because I felt so tired. And I must have been that tired because I didn't wake up till this morning when my alarm went off at 5:30.

I had the Beef Stroganoff last night and it was very tasty. K wanted Mac and Cheese so I ended up having some with my Beef Stroganoff, not a very good combination but it worked. I made the Mac and Cheese with skim milk and ff margarine. Not bad and K ate it with no problem.

HI DUTCHIE, good to *see* you. Try to relax even though your busy. Don't let yourself get too stressed out.

Well off to get my coffee and start working. HAVE A GREAT DAY.

RockerChick 03-07-2006 09:15 AM

Hi Chickies...went to the dentist this morning for a checkup---all is well so I don't have to go back til Sept for my next check up. I did tell her about the TMJ thing...sure enough I got it so she fitted me for a night guard..I go back Thursday morning to get it and to be sure it fits right.

Not much else is new so I better get going. Have a good one!

twiddle-my-thumbs 03-07-2006 09:30 AM

Good morning chicklets!

DUTCHIE - Sorry for the gain, but at least it wasn't too much. You should be able to get back on track easily. Do you have time to grab lunch at all right now? Or do you have to work while you eat? I know we had talked about you, me, and Spillie getting together for lunch sometime, so I was just curious. It'd be good for you to take a break once in awhile! Let us know if you can!

ROCKER - Welcome to the fun and exciting world of night guards! I've had one for years...this last one I think I got about 2 years ago or so. It's so worn down from the grinding I do. And it's so fun to sleep with when you're sick!

SPILLIE - I loved Two for the Money, but I love that whole sports gambling scene, so I'm sure that helped. And I have no problem watching MM for a couple of hours!

We had leftovers for dinner last night. Cranberry chicken. Tonight will be leftover ravioli, and tomorrow night will probably be leftover chicken and macaroni. Gotta get rid of this stuff! I have 2 huge pork tenderloins in the fridge, and am trying to figure out whether to freeze them or not. I also have boneless pork chops from Sam's. I think I gotta wrap and freeze them all or I'm going to end up throwing them out, which would totally suck.

So, I got my period yesterday. Very unexpectedly. Now I'm not sure if it was early or late, but I never get it on a Monday. *sigh* But it now explains why I chowed down a whole can of fat-free pringles on Sunday. :D

Anyway, got a good workout in on the cardioglide last night, and a quick run in this morning. I really wanted to stay in bed, but I made myself get up. Yoga tonight...woo hoo!

Guess that's about it. Hope you all have a great day.
