Hey Girls,
I don't have a lot of time but just wanted to check in and say hello. I have some tight deadlines for the project I'm working on, so I can't stay around and play. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and here's to hoping that this work week flys by! I'll try to take a quick break later and check in.
Don't stress out SPILLIE, all will go well :)
ROCKER...you've been doing GREAT and you're my hero :)
I hope you feel better TWIDDLE. :grouphug:
Hi DUTCHIE...so glad you're back with us! :woo:

Have a great day all.
VIVA

Hello everyone...

TWIDDLE: I'm sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon.

ROCKER: I read your weight loss success so far, the one you keep on your signature, and you are doing so well. It's okay about a slight gain... it happens sometimes. You'll be okay. You'll get back on track. We're all here to support you.

SPILLIE: I hope all goes well with your son and the interviews. Keeping my fingers crossed. Keep us posted.

VIVA: Don't forget to come up for air sometimes while you are working on the project.

My weekend was motivating. I went to my sister-in-law's sister's bridal shower. I met this woman sitting at our table who lost 100 lbs. She had before and after pictures and she told me her story. It almost brought me to tears. It was just so motivating. SO!! It actually wacked me on the side of the head and knocked some sense into me. I have to do something about my weight. Enough of being lazy and all. I decided that I am going to join Jenny Craig. I made an appointment this morning for Wednesday at 7pm. I know it's not Weigh Watchers... but I did Jenny Craig once before and I had success on it. So, I decided this is what I am going to do. I have to do this. After hearing Kristine's story and how eerily similiar I could relate to her, I figured I can do it just like she did. So, we'll see what happens. I am more determined than ever to do this. I am serious about this. I am going to do it.

So, that was my Saturday. Sunday we were over my brother's house to celebrate my grandfather's 95th birthday. It was such a great day. Poppy had such a great time and got to see his great-grandsons. Jack and Sean kept saying POPPY, I wuv you. It was so cute. Too bad Poppy couldn't hear them that well, but you could make out what they were saying. It was great to be around family and all.

WOW! Sorry for the long post... didn't realise how long it was. I better get going. Ya'll have a great day and I'll try and get back on here later on. Take care... see ya later!

DUTCHIE - While I've had much success with, and am a strong supporter of, WW, you gotta do what's right for you. If you've had success with JC before, hopefully you will again. Good luck!

SPILLIE - Good luck to DS with his interviews. I hope he gets what he wants. And take some deep breaths...you'll get everything you need for your trip. When do you leave?

VIVA - Good luck with your project.

RockerChick 01-09-2006 10:21 AM

Thanks you guys for all your support! It does bother me but I'm trying my best to turn it into motivation.

DUTCHIE: do what works for you...I did JC one time and lost 110 pounds...we all know it didn't work for me since I gained that back and then some. We are still here for support!

SPILLIE: fingers crossed DS gets what he wants!

VIVA: don't work too hard!

TWIDDLE: feeling any better? I know how it sucks to be sick and be at work too!

SPILLIE 01-09-2006 10:29 AM

DUTCHIE good luck with JC. As long as your eating healthy and doing something to feel better and good about yourself, I think that is what is important. We are in this together to feel better and to start taking care of ourselves.

VIVA we all know that you just don't want to play today. You are probably sitting at home under your nice warm electric throw and watching the Food Network. :p

Don't forget CHICKIES that the price of stamps went up as of yesterday....guess I'll try and get a book of new ones on my way back from lunch!

VIVA~GIRL 01-09-2006 12:17 PM

Just checking in real quick.

SPILLIE: I WISH I was on my sofa under my electric blanket watching Food Network!!!

DUTCHIE: Good luck with JC! You can do it!

ROCKER: I have ONE 37cent stamp left and no .02cent stamps! I guess I'll be getting one so I can mail this one bill here! Blah!

Hey Twiddle.

twiddle-my-thumbs 01-09-2006 01:29 PM

I have way too many 37-cent stamps! I actually got them to mail out the dragon boat thank you cards, and haven't mailed them yet (oops!!!). That'll teach me to procrastinate, now I gotta spend more!

BTW, I just found out that our team has been accepted into this year's race! Originally they were only accepting 112 teams, so we were on the waiting list, but now they bumped it to 128, so we're in. Woo hoo!!:carrot: :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

Can I go home and go to bed now?

RockerChick 01-09-2006 01:42 PM

The line at the post office was out the friggin door!!!! ...but I waited anyway b/c I needed the stamps and didn't have any on hand!

TWIDDLE: want Dr. ROCKER to write you a note so you can go home? :lol3:

SPILLIE 01-09-2006 01:50 PM

TWIDDLE I say go home and take care of yourself.

CHICKIE why would there be so many ppl at the post office, that doesn't make sense. There are machines to buy stamps right at the post office, aren't they? :dizzy:
