  • ok, I managed to get some exercise in! I did the rest of my 3 point challenges, so that was a total of 12 points. Better than nothing. Tomorrow I will hit the gym again and really get my cardio in. bbl
  • Melissa,
So glad your dad got to go home. That's great news! I'm trying to get some more exercise in today. I went to my sister's house and used her treadmill and got some cardio in. I'm going to get as many of the challenges done as I can before DH gets home. We're going to dinner tonight before we clean. The kids are eating at SIL's house.

Michelle-Aren't dogs just the "greatest pests?..oops...I mean pets. I loved my little bassett baby though. He was a trouble maker but quite the little lover dog too.

Okay...meltdown in progress...Gotta run. Crying and big crocodile tears...

  • Welcome Marcy just jump on in here. There is a great group of women here we all are here for the same reason To loose weight. Look forward to seeing you around
  • Welcome Marcy. My name is Tabitha, I am a sahm of 2 children (4 and 2, a little girl and baby boy.) I understand how you feel. I have no friends that are going through the weightloss thing. In fact, my best friend sometimes has to shop in the "jr. miss" section because of her size. This group really has helped me. The ladies here are just wonderful!

Chrissy, I have been meaning to ask you, who is that in your avatar? I keep looking at him to figure it out, and all I can come up with is it is Garth Brooks dressed up as a pirate. Okay, I'll be on the edge of my seat till I figure it out or you tell me.

Well, as far as exercise, nothing. Bad day on that front. I have let this mess I am in really get me down. I was so depressed, I laid down on the couch to watch television and fell asleep for two hours this evening and my kids totally destroyed the living room. So now I have to completely redo the living room tonight before I go to bed. I understand devilish kids. My son thinks the kitchen is his personal playground. And he doesn't believe that movies and books go on shelves either. He also, come to think about it, firmly believes that toy boxes are meant to be empty, as well as dresser drawers. LOL, I have my hands full. My daughter was never this busy. Oh sure, she got into her fair share of trouble, but definately not this bad. The answer I usually get is that boys are different from girls. I laugh at that, cause my friend's two girls get into everything, and personally, that's where I think Jeffery got it. At any rate, I need to go start cleaning this mess now. BBL

    Capt Feathersword from the Wiggles

Hey did you ever try going to flylady? I been doing that for about 2 1/2 years now and let me tell you it makes a HUGE difference

Did you ever get in touch with the majistrate?
  • Chrissy, he won't talk to me over the phone if I have warrants. I've talked with my h and what we are going to do, is I am just going to keep a low profile and not drive. There is a temporary employment agency that pays weekly here in town. So what I am going to do, is start working there this next week. And I will leave written instructions that they are allowed to release my paycheck to him, with a copy of his driver's license so that they have a picture. You know, just in case. It should only take me 3 or 4 weeks to earn the money that I will need. The police officer that pulled me over last night never came back to my house today, so here's hoping he doesn't. The temp service is a thirty minute walk from my house, so I will just walk home when I get off work. (Getting exercise there.) And my h will take his lunch break at 7 pm and go get the kids from grandma and grandpa's house. I will not turn myself in with out money, because I would be taken to the county jail. And then we would really be in the doghouse financially. If I do run into that officer that pulled me over, at least I can tell him what steps I am taking to take care of the situation and pray that he takes me at my word! I am thankful that he didn't arrest me in the middle of the night with my children in the car. Believe it or not, that is something that my 4 year old is afraid of. Whenever she sees a police officer, she asks, "Mommy, is he going to take you away?" I am afraid that is my fault. I do like to watch Cops when it comes on Saturdays. And unfortunately, I can't always count on my little one to be in bed like she is supposed to be. I try to switch the channel before she sees anything, but that doesn't always work out. I always sit down with her and explain to her that the policeman is our friend and if she is ever in trouble he will help her. Keeping it simple. But last night, she was really worried. And I am thankful that he was sensitive to them being in the car.

Thanks for letting me know who that is in your avatar. I have only caught one or two of the Wiggles episodes. And I don't have cable anymore, so I am not that familiar with them. Yeah, I went to the flylady's website. I am trying to adhere to it, and work with it. And I have a feeling that since, with the exception of work, I am going to be spending a great deal of time at home, I will be able to get this place organized in a short amount of time. Since, when I feel to chaotic at home, I usually go over to a friends' house and let the kids run around and play. Now, I have no choice, but to stay and face the mess. Get it taken care of. I don't have a washer, or a laundry mat where I live, so laundry has been piling up rapidly. Especially since I can't afford the laundry mats. But my friend just got a washer, so my h and I chipped in to put up a clothes line and got clothespins for it as well, and since we are going to be watching her kids at her house next week for spring break, we are going to get all of our laundry done. Woohoo. She said that as long as I help her with her water bill occasionally, I can come over there and do laundry every week after I get caught up this time. I have been washing a little bit out by hand, and the kids and I have been wearing the same things every week. Well, my comfy pants are gettting too big for me, so it will be nice to reaquint myself with my entire wardrobe! LOL. Yes, this is my life, for better or worse. And now I must go to bed. But first to post my lack of points at the challenge board. Take care everyone.
