What a show!!! Even ruben who got knocked off first looked great!!! I wasn't surprised Nick didn't show up...I was surprised at how many of them look like they made it to goal weight - or came really close. Quite impressive!!!!

Well chickies - it took me 5 weeks of Jillian's workouts - but I finally lost 2 more pounds.... Plateau over for the moment....

Hey, congrats on 2 pounds gone - way to rock! By the way how do you like Jillians workout? How long is it and is it kick butt? Whats the name of the DVD? DH is gonna start working out with me and I want to mix it up for him....(he is ADD...lol) I'm also thinking about getting the Biggest Loser Book but I think Volume 2 is coming out soon.....anyone know?

HarleyMom-that's awesome that you've been to Sturgis that many times. I'm jealous! I'm really hoping to go, as I've even scheduled my vacation for that week...just in case!!! My bf said we wouldn't be able to get a room anywhere at this point & he's probably right. I wouldn't be against camping, but I'd rather have a room. Heck, I'd be glad just to be there though!
Had a pretty good diet day. I only slipped up one time & had a peanut butter cookie that my boss had brought in. I did good though & didn't even let it blow my entire day diet-wise.
Regarding the cool Santa's....my neighbor has one of those blown up Santa's in his yard & it's on a motorcycle. I thought is was pretty cool, as I'd never seen one like it! I'd better get to bed! Goodnight : )

Hey girls

This has been such a busy week for me. My attitude has been kinda sucky about diet, work, etc. We are trying to buy a newer car b/c mine is a piece of junk. Wish us luck. I figure if its meant to be then it will happen. Its really gorgeous... a '03 Impala, black, sunroof, leather, bun warmers, spoiler...I love it. I'll find out in the morning if it works in out in our budget.

Star - I'm actually doing the workouts from Jillian's book, Winning by Losing...I haven't tried the dvds yet....there are a bunch of us doing her workouts, we have a bunch of threads to log our exercise and weigh ins. They are in here The workouts are tough, but I like them. There is 4 days a week of weight training mixed with cardio, and one day of straight cardio. 2 days of rest - thank goodness.

Andrea...nothing like a shiny car with "bun warmers" to perk a gal up.

Love2ride - only one peanut butter cookie...YAY! I never stop at one it seems.

Oh yeah...answer the question. The weight training sessions take about a half an hour, but then you fill in the hour with cardio. You are supposed to try to keep your heart rate at 85% maximum...whew! Jillian sets it up in circuits so that you work the different sets of muscles twice a week (shoulders, abs, chest one day - back, glutes, biceps the other) Something about turbocharging your metabolism...there is also a different diet plan depending on how your body processes food...I have it fairly easy - the diet recommended for me is 40% calories from carbs, 30 from fat, 30 from protein. It's pretty close to what I was doing already - I just bumped up the protein and knocked out some carbs. The recommended calorie counts come from a calculation based on lifestyle and age and size.

I saw something on the last show of BL where they are coming out with a work out DVD on December 20th. I am going to purchase it as soon as it comes out.

2 weeks and 2 days left of work and I am off for 2 weeks for the Holidays! Yippee I can hardly wait. I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet. I hate it so I wait tell the last minute. I love everything else about Christmas it is just the shopping thing I don’t like.

Reb - I have my fingers crossed for you about your new car...it sounds beautiful. I had a 1964 Impala, I don't think they made 'bun warmers' back then....lol Hope you get to go to Sturgis (fingers crossed). I am such a sissy rider - we never camp out. I figure if I'm gonna be blowing in the wind all day and have to deal with helmet hair - I need that blow dryer and some comfort......

Harley - I'm so jealous of you being off for TWO WEEKS......have fun and enjoy shopping, wrapping, etc.. I managed to get all that done last weekend and I'm so glad I'm done......But I had to beat my Dec 12th deadline since I'll have that bunion surgery then. (It sucks getting old)

Oh my doctor gave me two thumbs up onthe exercise and hooky dooky.....I think I will start the exercise on Monday and see if I can hold DH off til then on the hooky dooky too......lol

OMG... I really blew it at lunch today. I only get 28 points a day and I used 41 of them at the mexican buffet.
I'm starting to get excited about our toy run Sunday. It's going to be nice "leather weather" 50's and windy. It's always great to see people we only see at rides.

Harley: I'm also going to get the BL dvd when it comes out. I'm not only fat and old but I'm a klutz. Hope I can do it.
