I'm curious about a steamer advertised to clean hard surfaces. If I remember correctly, someone here on the board purchased one a year or so ago. Can you tell me about it? Are you happy with it? The one I'm looking at will run for about 1 hour and you just fill it with water.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Hope everyone is having a good day. Wishing you all the magic that this day can bring. May you all "give" and "receive" lots of LOVE and HUGS today!! Your Floozie friend...deb |
Gayle-That would be me. I don't know which steamer you are talking about getting, but mine is portable and last no where near an hour. I really do like it, but haven't used it in awhile. I guess the newness wore off for me. It really didn't do the rust as well as I had expected. My whole reason for getting it was for the bathroom tile walls and rust. I guess now it's just more trouble than it's worth for me.

:love:HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FLOOZIE FRIENDS!!!!!!!!
 Debbie...Thanks for the Anniversary wishes. I hope Wayne and I have many, many more! |
Good Morning Friends,
I have been very good about staying on program lately. One more pound and I'll be back to where I left off before I got out of control. I found some new bars at Costco, maybe not new to you folks but new to me. All Bran Bars - they are really tasty. I am still using the old WW program so on that points counter they are 2 pts per bar, on the new points counter they are 3 pts. They are filling and full of fiber. Doug went to the heart specialist yesterday. Everything seems to be okay. He was asked if he would join in a study of a new drug. He decided to do it. It's a two year study and nobody will know until the end who was on the real drug and who was on the placebo. The good part is that he will see the specialist every month, he will get all kinds of tests done to detect changes to his liver, heart, and other parts of his body. It will be wonderful to be followed that closely by the heart specialist rather than once a year. There is no cost to the participants. We had freezing rain yesterday, so everything was a sheet of ice. Today is nice and about freezing. Oh Lucky DEE!! To be somewhere warm and lucky Shelley to be somewhere that is always warm. Take care to all. Janice:coffee: |
Hi Girls:wave:
I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Evening. I got a very nice surprise last night. James took me out to dinner. He handed me a small card with a little pink heart on it. It was blank inside and he had written " Why should I worry about my heart, when it belongs to you" Needless to say...I cried!!! Then he handed me a small jewerly box, I was shaking by now. Inside was a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond heart. It was one of the most precious that I have ever received. Hugs...deb |
Debbie-That is so wonderful. I can see why you cried. I'm glad you had a nice anniversary.
Janice-I was about to ask you why you are eating the bars if you think that they taste nasty, then I read it again and you had said tasty! I sometimes read things way too quick. I'm glad you are doing well on WW. Girls I need some prayers sent this way. My DH's best friend is in the hospital and is in need of a liver transplant. Tomorrow he has his gall bladder removed, but he is an absolute mess. They are saying Hepatitis C. He is 47 years old. The weather here was in the high 70's today and gorgeous. I'm sorry if some of you are having such bad weather! Come down for a visit anytime! |
Sherry...Good luck on your weight-in tonight!! :dancer:
I know you are excited about your trip in March. Shelley... Saying a prayer!! He is so young! BTW...Yesterday was Sherry's anniversary. |
I hope you had a special anniversary Wayne & Sher! Did you get the ecard? I will be thinking of you tonight at weigh-in Sherry, good luck!
Shelley, prayers go out to Mikes friend. I know this man has made it rough on you, hopefully he will have the transplant and recover the best he can. This could very well be a life changing experience for him. Deb, do you think we could clone James??? I bet we could make a fortune! He was very thoughtful and sweet, you can tell he loves you dearly. Wishing the two of you many more blessed years together. I stayed home alone without my sweetie for Valentines. He is out of town until Friday. Allison was sick all evening with a fever and had an earache most of the night. I kept her home from school today, she slept until 10:30 this morning! She seems to be feeling better, I'm still dosing her with the cough medication and Tylenol. If she is doing ok, I will probably send her tomorrow to school. Her teacher said out of 22 kids, she has not had over 14 in the classroom since Christmas. I guess the "gunk" is really going around. I am trying to stay OP, but then I feel sorry for myself and eat a Valentine candy. I agree with Shelley, I could wipe out an entire package of those little "pure sugar" conversation hearts! Janice, I'm glad your sticking it out here on the board with all of us! It seems slow at times, but over the course of the past few years, we have so many fighting personal or family illnesses, problems etc. I'm happy to hear your hubby was accepted for the study. I'm sure this will give you two peace of mind to know he will be consistantly monitored by a doctor. YEAH CHERYL! You get to go see hubby for 3 whole weeks! Make sure you get some work done! LOL! |
Hello
I lost only 1.2 lbs but I'll take it! Better then gaining huh? Tonights weight was 207.8. Debbie....That was very sweet of James! Lucky Girl! I didn't get anything but that's what Wayne & I decided on. We're going out to eat this weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day & Anniversary. Gayle....I hope Allison is doing better. Bless her heart! I hope her fever doesn't go up tonight. Give her a big hug! :grouphug: Thanks for our card! How sweet!!!! Thanks again! Shelley....I will be saying a prayer for your hubby's friend. That is so sad & so young. I hope everything goes ok. BTW: I get so confused on the popcorn points. I only buy the 94% FF. Is it 4 points for the whole bag? I forgot to ask in the meeting tonight. Janice...What is the name of the bars? I would like to try them!!! Dee....I miss you girl!!!!!!!! Ramona.....Are you ok????? I sure do miss you!!! Carol.....How do you feel?????? Come back please!!! I love you all.....Hugs! |
GREAT JOB SHERRY! YIPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Steve & I went out to eat this weekend to celebrate Valentines. We do the dinner thing too for our anniversary. It gets too expensive buying gifts for every occasion. Allison is better tonight. I debated about school tomorrow, I think I will keep her home an extra day. Her appetite is still very poor, to the point she has not touched one bit of Valetine candy from home or school. |
WTG, Sherry! Sorry about the confusion on the anniversary. Happy belated to you and Wayne! That point value is for the entire bag. I eat air popped corn, and the point value is practically nothing.
Gayle-The man in the hospital is not the one that I can't stand. This is Mike's best friend from high school and beyond. If I hadn't married Mike, I would probably with him. He is a wonderful and caring person. I only wish it were the other one (isn't that a horrible thing to say??) I have decided to up my weight loss goal back to 127. I just can't seem to get below 128 no matter how hard I try. Do you think I'm being horrible by doing that? I just can't face the scale when it is up. I was worried all night when I stepped on the scale this morning. I was back down to 128. I figure if I can get to 127 and meander there that I should be satisfied with that. |
Shelley, so sorry for the confusion, I thought it was the guy that likes to bug you. :-) This changes things a bit, I will be sending extra prayers your direction. I hope this friend goes through the gallbladder surgery ok and they can find a liver for him soon. Keep us updated on his condition. Does he live in the same town as you guys??
I like how you changed your ticker. Honestly, no one will ever notice a few extra pounds. I'm afraid you will continue to set your goal so low that when you get on the scale you are going to tell yourself negative stuff. I'm sure your body is trying to tell you it is at a comfortable place right now. Who knows, maybe in a month or so, you may drop that extra ppound or two. They say our body needs to catchup and rest at certain times through our weight loss. What did the doctor say about your weight? Did he feel it is a healthy weight for you? |
