Happy Holidays Girls and I hope each and everyone of you gets to spend the next couple of days with the ones you love! Julie

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday! Not sure when I will get the chance to post again.. so I wanted to say hi and that I will miss you all this next week!
I am here at work waiting on Fed Ex guy. Yesterday afternoon, Alan gave me my Christmas present, for me and the girls. I took it home and let them open it and it was a Game Cube! They were so excited. They barely ate their dinner (McDonalds!!!) and started playing. I had to make them quit about 9 PM... then I put them to bed watching Babes in Toyland. They were so excited. It was a great gift for them.. and for me. :D I have to run by walmart.. we are going to have a very non traditional meal tonight. CHILI!!!! :D Oh well... they love it, and it will be easy and then we can sit down and play the new game! Tomorrow we open gifts, inviting Dad over to have breakfast with them.. (THANKS ANGIE.. gonna have pancakes) and then they will leave for the week, and I will go back to Alan's to get ready for our trip the next morning. I have a busy weekend! So.. everyone.. Merry Christmas... Happy New Year... I will be back on the 3rd or 4th... and I will be ready to get serious again. I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday!!!! You guys really mean alot to me. I am thankful to have each and every one of you in my life!!!!!! Love, Cherie |
Hey girls, Merry Christmas Eve to you too.
I have been in the stores today and everyone has this frantic gleam in their eyes  Michael stayed over at his cousins last night so Rick and I were alone . We did go out and watch Ocean's Twelve--I liked it, it was very entertaining and had lots of eye candy. Not sure what's for dinner tonight but I was appointed head chef by mom... anyone hungry for Chef-boyardee? Cherie, that is great that your girls got a Game Cube. Alan sounds like a sweetheart. Have a wonderful Xmas eve and Xmas day and enjoy your vacation! Be safe and stay warm. Julie, I say some sort of thanks everyday that I have met all of you girls here. :grouphug: Merry Christmas everyone and/or Happy Holidays to all :D |
I just had to retuck the girls back into bed... it's 9:25 here and they heard thumping.. LIKE REINDEER MOM! We have been tracking Santa at www.noradsanta.org so they have been very excited.... We spread out the reindeer food on the ground, and picked out three cookies and a diet coke (cause you know Santa is really tired of all that milk) and sat it by the fireplace... now they are in bed... and I am waiting for them to fall asleep! :D
Merry Christmas everybody! I'll talk to you soon! Cherie |
OK Folks.. I am off for a few days. I will try to check in, but I can't promise anything! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families.. I did. Girls had a great morning.
I am off to Colorado at 5AM tomorrow, so I will talk to you all soon! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Cherie |

I hope everyone is enjoying the days and had a wonderful Christmas. We did. Ashley is so excited and wanting to play with everything all at the same time. We spent time at my sister's house yesterday for dinner and gift exchange. My nephew is returning to Korea today; we will miss him, but it was great to see him again and spend time together. This week is just going to be catching up on some rest. Everyone in the house has a cold, but at least hubby never caught that awful bug that Ashley and I had. Take care everyone. To those traveling: be careful and have a wonderful trip. Cal |
Good Morning Gang!!
My Christmas was really nice. Crazy busy but nice, haha....too many people to see and places to go, but today we are going to go through some more gifts and stuff. Friday was a party at my dad's side. Saturday was opening gifts then lunch at Mil's and then supper and gift exchange at my moms, and then yesterday was a party at my uncle's. I am totally burnt out!! I like to have things organized, lol. I got some really great things this year. My favorite gift is from my brother. A bottle of perfume from Paris. It smells so wonderful. You can only get it San Fran, Boston, or Paris. I got some pretty clothes from mom, now I told hubby he needs to make some plans and take me out . The kids got tons, I mean tons of toys I have to get rid of some of the old ones, on some cold weekend day hub and I will go through all of their old stuff and donate some things probally to a local womans and childrens center. Enough about me all ready! Kempy I think you are coming home today, right? I hope your Christmas was great. Noelle, so what did Rick surprise you with? Did Michael have a blast opening all of his presents? I bet he sure did. I hope you get to take a little vacation time this week. I kind of feel "burn out". My hub told me he wishes he had off today just today take it all in. Angie, Florida girl  are you having a wonderful time ? Miss ya!! Cherie I am so glad you and the girls had a nice Christmas, now you are off on your vacation that you so deserve! Enjoy, enjoy! Happy New Year to you too! Summer I love seeing your posts too. You all are a huge part of my life also! Whats shaking for New Year's Eve for ya? Any fun parties? Cal catch up on your rest!! I am glad you had a nice holiday though! Well hello everyone else. I am going to go here and warm up picking up around here. It is -1 below! Crazy :yikes:  :merry: Julie |
Happy Monday! 5 more days left of 2004
Good morning all. Glad to hear everyone had a great Christmas. I know what you all mean about wanting to "recover". Isn't that always the case, like when you need a vacation after a vacation? Did anyone brave the after Christmas sales?
My Christmas was really nice as well. Rick surprised me (us) with new, simple white gold wedding bands. We are approaching our 10th in February and I mentioned that I was looking to get us something that matched to celebrate the occasion. Well, he beat me to the punch, that stinker. I have to admit that I was genuinely surprised though, and pleased. As for the evening, it was really funnny because 3 out of the 4 guys (Rick, dad and my 2 BIL's) all got poker table tops for Christmas. It's what they play every Sunday on the picnic table out back. Now it's official. We could have 3 games going on at one time--come on over girls! Michael got quite a few Gameboy games from us and his aunts, but his favorite gift was a board game called Zingo (like Bingo with a Zing!) that all of us were playing together. Julie, yes, just get all dolled up, spritz some of that seductive perfume on and grab your hubby and have a night out. Maybe to usher in the New year? Glad you had a great Christmas. Cal, I'm sorry to hear everyone has caught a cold but at least you're all together right? Take care of each other and enjoy the rest of your vacation time. Summer, I agree! Happy 2005 and  to all of us great ladies! Cherie, that is so cute about your girls and hearing reindeer on the roof. I showed Michael the website you had listed, and he believed. I guess they can still hear those Christmas bells ringing :D. Enjoy the snow! Kempy and Angie, we miss you both. Be safe in your travels and can't wait to hear from you and your adventures when you get back. I need to get into the office today :( but I will pop back in later. Talk w/you all then. |
Noelle that is so sweet and romantic, what a nice gift ! Btw I would love to come over and play some poker. I don't know how , but I would love to learn! Glad Michael had a nice Christmas. We got the kids some video games too. I will have to look for that game. It sounds fun. I remember one of my aunts would take me to a church to play Bingo when I was a kid and I loved it, haha....Nope, didn't hit any of the sales. Still got time, just saw a commercial and a local department store is having one all week!
